unfortunately you'll either have to change the date on the switch (don't feel guilty about doing this, to many it's just an alternative playstyle and the game isn't going to punish you for it!) or you can visit someone who has a different season if you're looking for something specific like a material or creature

When building the first three plots, I heard the interior will be different for a villager then if they were to move in later and have their original housing.
If a villager that was in those plots leaves the island, and I invite a new villager, will it still have the basic interior or the original for the villager?

Anyone familiar with this Museum glitch? Ever since restarting I’m missing the coral and weeds from my favorite freshwater tank in the museum. I thought donating would fix it but it hasn’t. Anyone have any ideas?

Once you've donated 60 things. After Blathers says he's now accepting art, the next day (if its a weekday) he should come to your island and be wandering around

Hi there , you're in the wrong channel for this. Grab yourself the trade role from #721542917264638002 (read the rules then click the ✅ at the top, then you need to head to #fruit-vegetable-trade

You can't adopt them from other players. You can however go to mystery islands and adopt from there before you finish furnishing the plots. The villagers on these islands will be locked to being Lazy, Normal and Peppy villagers (I'm not sure though if its locked to only be able to adopt 1 villager per in game day at this point like it is normally)

Do new villagers move in at random after you build the initial three houses?

after the 3 initial houses, you will go on to build a campsite, and then you have to invite the first villager who comes to it. (they are scripted to always be a Smug Villager). But after that, they can if you purchase land from Tom Nook and don't adopt from another player or from a mystery island.

They won't move in randomly unless there is an empty plot

If a person on another island lets their villager leave & voids them, they can go into your move in queue. Also if a villager is in boxes & you have an open plot you can invite them/adopt them.

Is it true that halloween DIY is non tradeable? Bc when my villager was making a diy that I already had, they gave me candy instead of giving me an extra diy?

You yourself can only obtain the DIYs once from Villagers, otherwise they will give you candy or pumpkins. Balloons can be popped and drop duplicates still, or other players can come visit your island while a villager is crafting a DIY and learn it from them

Other DIYs are still given to you by villagers even if you've learned it

So I now have the option to sell plots of land at residential services. Can i still recruit new villagers if i dont have a plot if I land available yet? I dont want a random villager to move in
