the device you're playing on is not the registered primary device on the nintendo account that purchased the game. you'll need to change the primary device back to the one you're wanting to add a secondary profile on if you want that to be allowed. it's nintendo's way of controlling game sharing

Should I restart my island?
When restarting, you will lose all of your DIYs and catalog. The start of the game is very tedious and people tend to forget this when resetting.
It is easier to remove everything and flatten your island.
Restart only if you don't like the position of your RS, airport, river ends, northern beach, etc.

it just makes them not have the bubble temporarily, but they can ask again in the future. if you really don't want them to go, just speak to them and tell them "no, don't move out", and they won't be able to ask until you do that to someone else.

Hi I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask but I transferred my island to my new switch OLED today but it wouldn't let me transfer my second user profile unless they had a nintendo account. So I made a nintendo account for the 2nd user profile and managed to to get that transferred over, however, when I try to open ACNH using that user profile it says the user must purchase the game first! So now I can't use my second island resident at all and I can't delete them either through Tom Nook. Does anyone have an idea of what I can do?

You need to set your OLED switch as your primary console in your Nintendo account

(You can do that by logging into your account on the Nintendo website)

Alternatively though if you just wanted to delete the secondary account and keep your old switch as the primary device on the Nintendo account, you could do so via the resident representative account

First : you need to have at least 6 villagers before you can adopt from someone else.
Then: you need an empty plot. An unsold plot of land with no house one it
After that, the villager need to be "in boxes" ready to leave to be adopted. Your trade partner said "yes" to someone leaving the day before.

If all conditions are met, visit the person and talk to the villager, they will come once you agreed with the dialog

What does gifted, heavily gifted or no gifts mean in regards to villagers. And what are the implications with such?

Gifted villagers have been given gifts or wear custom designs displayed on Able’s back wall. They tend to be less desirable to other players in comparison to ungifted villagers. They can never be ungifted, only have their gifts replaced.
Ungifted villagers tend to be higher value, completely default villagers — they only wear their original outfits and have an untouched house—as if they were found from a mystery island.

fences are an excellent option, but you can use almost anything to block in an area. fences are arguably the easiest, with bushes/shrubs a close second because non-best friend visitors can't equip their shovels, but you can in case you need to access said area while they're over.

What would be stopping the remaining rock from spawning here? There is a cliff 3 tiles away from it but that’s the only thing I can think of.

The rest of my island is essentially transparent pathed. If I remove some transparent tiles on the right side the rock spawns there, but the past few days I have not been able to get it to spawn in the desired spot for the life of me and I need to release my DA soon.

Cliffs block 4 tiles behind them, so you could try removing it temporarily to see if that fixes it. Otherwise I don't see any other vertical blockers that could be causing a problem

You must be the first player to buy from Leif 3 separate times—the buy counter can only increase once per day and only for the first player that buys from him.
A second player would have to buy first 3 other times, then talk to him again. Buying on other islands adds to the counter as long as nobody on that island bought anything from him yet that day. However, you can only receive the DIY on your island.

So they could be considered practically ungifted as long you didn't gift enough for them to remove furniture placed on surfaces. They would be technically gifted if people care about what's in the villager's inventory though, even if they can't tell.

you can't lower a friendship level, so once you're at that level to give gifts, you can't go down to the point where you can't give them gifts anymore. If you're trying to move them out, as long as they aren't the most recent to move in they should be eligible to ask to move out

best way would probably be buying the custom design path thing from the Nook Stop after you've unlocked terraforming as you can pick your custom patterns you wish to place down and have a more controlled way to place them. There's no real way to mass place a bunch of custom designs unless you're using all of one type (in that case just keep selecting the one youre placing down in the custom design app and click display on ground to cover the 9 tiles you're on/around in that pattern)

yes, you can use a tool like MeteoNook https://wuffs.org/acnh/weather/ to determine your island seed and subsequently predict the weather patters for the island, but it does require a lot of effort as you have to enter the weather patterns for each day until the tool can narrow down your seed

It’s because they block in a 1 tile radius around them, which prevents rocks from spawning on those tiles. in the case of the ones where the fence is in their 1 tile radius, they are likely considered “tall” furniture, which additionally block 4 spaces behind them so that you aren’t gonna miss a rock that would otherwise be invisible behind the object

no, unfortunately, but what you can do is play a song from a music player and the piano’s notes will match the key of the song. however, the default key is G major/E minor (at least iirc) when no song is playing nearby
