No, Amiibos are considered "new" villagers every time you re-invite them. the only way he'd remember you is if you adopt the same "copy" of that villager back to your island

Well he won't give you the option if you have a loan balance either, so it's not always a tell. A fully upgraded house has the main room, three peripheral rooms (left, right, back), a second floor and a basement.

And, although this doesn't expand your house in any way, there is an additional storage upgrade you can buy

You need to catch 100 fishes without failing a catch, also the counter only shows your highest streak, your actual one might be lower

More or less, yes, you can do it over several play sessions/days, you just need to not fail a catch or you'll have to restart...
But you can use this trick: if you ever fail a catch, force-close the game, that way, your failed catch won't be saved... You'll probably loose a few catches made since the last auto-save, but it's better than to start from scratch

well.. 'choosing' implies you can pick, like how you can with amiibo visitors. if someone just showed up in your campsite, it's more like "reset until the game rolls a villager you want to move out", which can take a long time if you have bad rng

@silk knot hey, i wanted to answer you here since #general isn't a good place for question asking and answering. what have you done so far in your attempts to move someone out?

Time traveled 15 days then day by day individually for over 4 months at this point.

I had a bubble show up at one point but it was for the wrong villager, and when I skipped forward another day (as the guide told me to do) the bubble disappeared entirely.

Okay, sounds good. Some tips:

• Make sure you've spoken at least once to your target villager(s), as never speaking to them will exclude them from the asking pool.
• Spend 10-15 minutes looking for a bubble. I know that seems like a long time, but bubbles don't show up immediately and this will help ensure you've found one if there is one for that day.
• Skip Saturdays, and any other event days or days where KK Slider shows up. KK and events block move-out bubbles, it'll save you some time.
• Put the relocation kit of a non-target villager in your pocket. You can give it back later, but it'll exclude them from the asking pool and save you some time

At 4 months your bad luck bonus should be maxed out at 80%, so just keep chugging along and you should eventually see a bubble again.

Also make sure, if you aren't already, that the time period you're looking around is 12 pm - 2 pm, as that's when a majority of your villagers will be outside

It's not necessarily that it doesn't work anymore, but it doesn't work well nor is it efficient in any way. They heavily nerfed tarantula/scorp spawns awhile back sadly

That said, if you need a few for a bug model it's a good strategy. Just make sure you arrive to the mystery island after 7 pm, and you're regularly scaring away other bugs on the island

no, a flower's color is decided by its genes, much like how it works in real life. plucking a flower will do nothing to change its color, nor will digging it up and replanting it, running it over, etc. If you'd like to learn how to breed flowers, I highly suggest reading #garden-science-info from top to bottom

So, if the resident representative has max friendship with all 10 of his villagers, they would donate 2550 bells per day (255 being the maximum friendship points a villager can have)

• Spend 10-15 minutes looking for a bubble. I know that seems like a long time, but bubbles don't show up immediately and this will help ensure you've found one if there is one for that day.
• Skip Saturdays, and any other event days or days where KK Slider shows up. KK and events block move-out bubbles, it'll save you some time.
• Put the relocation kit of a non-target villager in your pocket. You can give it back later, but it'll exclude them from the asking pool and save you some time

At 1+ month, your bad luck bonus should be maxed out at 80%, so just keep chugging along and you should eventually see a bubble again.

I’m a secondary player on a switch (not the island rep) and i just started playing 3 days ago. When i buy a nook miles ticket and travel to a mystery island, there is nothing rare and no villagers to meet. I can’t build bridges or anything on my island. Lots of other things i’ve read about that I can’t do. Will I progress into these things as I play, or am I forever limited as a secondary player?

Mystery islands -- villagers only appear if you have empty, unsold plots to fill. You should still be able to villager hunt and fill plots, though. As for everything else, secondary residents can do everything that Island Representatives can except story progression and certain infrastructural decisions. They can interact with and complete quests for NPC visitors, upgrade/relocate their house, raise friendship with villagers, buy/sell items, donate to the museum, terraform, place decorations, invite new villagers from mystery islands or from other players, and donate to construction efforts.

They cannot buy bridges or inclines, move buildings, or progress the story (i.e., upgrade Resident Services from a tent to a building, build the campsite, etc).

Celeste being present guarantees that theres shooting stars. But theres two patterns of shooting stars, heavy and light. Heavy ones are the ones that Isabelle announces, and villagers will talk about. Light ones are, like, batches of 5 stars per minute pretty infrequently. so youre probably having a light meteor shower and just not catching any stars

The villagers appear on mystery islands only at the start of the game before you complete the 3 furnished plots, then after you're allowed to sell land.
If you placed them all you can still wait until one moves out, once the house is gone there should be a space, if the sign on it doesn't say "sold" you can find villagers on mystery islands.
Note that you can only adopt one villager per day on mystery islands, unlike adopting from other players

I have 2 questions: 1 - do the 3 days have to be consecutive? 2 - does inviting someone else clear the history? So if I invite someone 2x, then invite someone else, will that original one still be ready for move in the next time he is scannez?

Tom Nook will sell you house kits for 10k apiece IIRC, place one down, and while it's still unsold, you can either invite a boxed villager from another player or invite a villager from a mystery island

Best gift: depends on if you care or not about your villager gifted status - furniture if you don't, wrapped stacks of fruits/pumpkins - in both case worth 750 bells or more
Time: again, depends on what you use and the game's RNG, but using pumpkins, I average at around 40 days after the villager moves in

They should be good and be on par with fruits/pumpkins as villagers do not store them, but assess them first so they are worth enough to have a chance at the photo

How long it takes to get a photo varies. For me, I’ve received one in a month of gifting and with other villagers it took 2 months. I gift wrapped, assessed fossils because they won’t be displayed and thus don’t ruin the house interior. 🙂

The only item you need to wait to get currently Rover's photo since you need to have done Mayday 2020(now unavailable) , as well as the 2021 one. The rest that is currently locked will be unlocked very soon!

You can’t do anything with turnips except sell or eat them, I believe. You can’t place or plant them, but you can drop them to empty your pockets at least.
