You need a stack of 2+ item worth 750 bells or more individually, and you need the rest of your inventory to be full - gift one item from that stack to a villager: they only take one and since your inventory is still full, they can't give you back anything directly, so they send it in the mail the next day - this bypasses the roll for a chance at a wallpaper/flooring, slightly increasing the odds of getting a photo

If you are trying to farm tarantulas it's not worth it since 1.2.0
If you just want to catch one, continue scaring other bugs, they will keep spawning nothing you can do. You can only make more spawn until the tarantula appears

Hello there, I’m trying to build a rock garden. I have the plot laid out and have destroyed all 6 rocks on my island. 1 spawned in the spot it is now but I’ve gone ahead 3 more days now and I don’t see any rocks anywhere around the island. Yesterday, I went back to the actual day, and then time traveled one day ahead to get the last villager to move in. However, what’s strange is that they didn’t take the last space on the list of villagers next to the map. They took the second to last space!

Anything you can order from Nooks you can get the variations of with the methods as you said, BUT you cannot get any variations of special furniture items with those methods. For those, you would at that point have to trade with other people

Just saying it's not the color that count but the genes. Pink cosmos are simple but some of the more complicated one will not work that way
