• Caps (not helmets): Caps in the game are tagged either as free or womanly. Male villagers will only use caps tagged as free and gifting them 24 womanly caps will replace other caps from their storage. Since female villagers can use both types of caps, the only way to remove them is when they approach you to sell/gift/trade in the item. How to MAKE BELLS, the SIMPLE Way:

Is it guaranteed that the red rose that grows next to orange and purple will always be hybrid red? I have a large amount of what I assume are hybrid red roses but I still don't have a blue rose.

There’s two genotypes of red that can come from the orange and purple that I assume you are using, but only one of them can make blue, and even then, at a very low chance. I recommend abandoning that method.

yeah it's not possible, there's no "offline friends" list in the best friends app of the nookphone to start with, and the only options that appears when clicking on anyone from any list of the app are to "ask to become best friends" or "stop being best friends" depending if you already are or not. There's no option to remove them entirely from the list, and I'm pretty much sure the only way you can do it is by removing them from the console's friend list

Having it work on the first try is highly unlikely - between the 80% max chance that someone can ask and the fact that the villager choosen by the game must be outdoors to be able to have the thought bubble, you usually need a bunch of tries before getting the right villager, or even see a villager thinking about leaving

this is just an add-on to Cloud's answer, but the reason this happens is because you accidentally prevented Isabelle's announcements from happening. there's a routine called "GrowUp" that happens right before her announcements run, and it processes a bunch of things for the in-game day, such as plant growth, flower breeding, message bottles populating, etc. if this doesn't happen by way of you leaving your gates open overnight, the shops don't open properly, and that error message (cutely disguised as a shop hour change) is displayed on both Nook's Cranny and Able Sisters.

Someone used the above method to kick out a target on a stream, was doing everything right, and it still took them 12 hours

Forgive me, I just skimmed it too and it isn't in there. But yes -- skip Saturdays and any day KK Slider is on the island (like if he gets pushed off Saturday due to an event). KK Slider and any event that occurs on a Saturday (such as the Bug-Off/Fishing Tourney) will block move-out bubbles.

Well when i look for the months sharks are on, they are usually out all through summer, June - August. With oarfish you can find them in May. try fishing on rainy days and maybe try fish bait

How do you reset your villagers clothing? (Without having them put the clothing in their house?)

• Villagers' gifted clothing can be removed via giving them over 24 wearable clothing items, as 24 is the limit for clothing a villager can hold.
• Accessories: can be replaced by gifting them 24 'non-glasses' accessories (Villagers won't wear these, e.g. bubblegum)
• Caps (not helmets): Caps in the game are tagged either as free or womanly. Male villagers will only use caps tagged as free and gifting them 24 womanly caps will replace other caps from their storage. Since female villagers can use both types of caps, the only way to remove them is when they approach you to sell/gift/trade in the item.
