.t beginners - NMT = Nook Mile Ticket. You can buy them at your Nookstop in Resident Services. You might be then too early in the game to start adopting villagers from other players ( you need at least 6 villagers for that). At some point in the story, you can get the plots from Tom Nook (I recommend the guide below, it might be helpful)

depends on the kind of data you have, rainbows and star shower would decrese the seeds by a lot, allowing less entries

it really depends on what information you put in, as some of it is able to get you closer to the seed than others. For example, I only put in a few days, and the hr:min times of the better half of a light shower. Things like specific weather events like meteor showers will contribute more to the data collection than, say, hourly weather

In gameplay, being gifted or ungifyed doesn’t really matter much, I think you still get the same dialogues and stuff. People may prefer ungifted villagers simply for personal or aesthetic reasons

After building the campsite and inviting your first camper you can talk to tom nook and buy more land to place more plots. After that you can invite once per day from mystery islands or from other people
