You mean farming balloons? You can use jail bars along your beaches. And there’s a trick where you can go into Nooks Cranny, ask to buy something and back out, and it’ll reset the balloon timer thing, so balloons show up every 5 minutes

I am asking because I did the jail bar thing, time travelled to November(for getting some mush DIYs for my island) and I didn’t get any from popping balloons, maybe it was wrong timing but I think the whole month of November(northern hemisphere) they should be available?

Assuming the time is correct, I’d just guess bad luck. I don’t think any seasonal stuff are locked at any given time.

Just for clarification: it’s not so much time traveling that’s bringing the roaches as much as it is you not playing daily! If you don’t play for I think a month or more, then the roaches spawn

hi i have a question about transferring a save file to a new switch! im the island representative of my game which i share with siblings. i want to buy my own switch and bring my save file, but let my siblings start a new island back on the original switch with their items and stuff. is this possible?

like basically can i move the whole island to a new switch but then get my siblings to take their own characters back on the og?

we use a physical copy of the game if it matters?

I believe so, they can just delete the original one once you’ve safely transferred all the data to the new switch

The closest you can get in that regard is probably just let them take over but they won’t be able to become the new resident rep without restarting

They’ll be available again soon, but the 2020 and 2021 wedding events are timelocked for rn, so you’d have to wait for this june

I think there’s just a miscommunication. You’re asking if you’re able to put your sibling’s characters back on the old switch once you’ve transferred the whole file to the new switch (including their characters). To my knowledge, since you are the island rep, if you do the transfer, you’ll take everything with you including their characters, so your siblings will have to start a new island, but you can give back most of their things. Is that what you were looking for?

I built a second bridge from DIY. I think I wasn’t allowed to do this as I’ve already completed this DIY in the past. It’s been almost a week and the bridge isn’t built. Your siblings will have to restart an entirely new island since they are not the resident representative and you are moving your island to a new switch.
