Yep. You can use your prices. You don't need to use someone else's

websites like turnip exchange help you be able to sell your turnips on other islands with higher prices, with your island you might not have good prices that week, but with tools like turnip prophet you can predict what your prices for the week will be and when you should sell your turnips

To clarify, you aren't stuck on Sunday, but you are stuck only time traveling forward. Any amount backwards will rot them, as you've probably already been told.

So you can survey the prices for the week on your own island, or travel to someone else's -- you just can't go back to irl time until they're sold.

Ah glad I mentioned it then. Yeah the biggest risk with turnips (hence "stalk" market) is that you have one week to sell them before they go bad, and it's one of the few ways the game "punishes" time travelers (by making them rot if you go backwards)

I’m trying to plan who I would like to be my final set of dreamies, and Kid Cat has really grown on me! He was a starter and he’s so precious. But I also don’t want to give up Lucky or Zucker? Everyone else on my island is happy + gets along.

Compatibility isn't really a thing in this game -- some combos of personalities have interesting conversational dialogue, but it's not as extensive as it was in past games.

you can put as many as you want but if you have 220+ trees on your island you are capped at 4 stars

you can't lower the level, you can lower the points but it's pretty negligeable not worth the time, you're better off increasing the level of other villagers
