All the houses are transferred along with the island, you'll just need to create 3 new accounts on the new switch, boot up the game with them and choose to link these new accounts to the now unasigned houses of the island

Ah yeah they can hold brooms when the gates are open too, but they don't have to be holding it like when the gates are closed. As long as she agrees to move into your island though all should be well ^^

It's both. Default pathing is purchasable when you unlock KK Slider and the Island Designer app, and custom pathing can be layed down using both the Custom Designs app and the Island Designer app -- the latter is just faster.

i'm not sure if one of the options when they receive it is able to prevent that, but if they are wearing it you just have to gift them more clothing until they stop

My island has no such content on it. I even checked my villagers catchphrases just in case. This happened shortly after I posted my island poster and trailer video on this Discord.

There isn't a "trade" mechanic in game, it's all based on you dropping and the other picking it up

Nookbot is just a bot- it won’t respond. For your question, however, just by doing the Nook Miles Missions would help you get more points, albeit slow. Trading items/villagers online would be the better option.
