You must be the first player to buy from Leif 3 separate times—the buy counter can only increase once per day and only for the first player that buys from him.

Buying on other islands adds to the counter as long as nobody on that island bought anything from him yet that day. However, you can only receive the DIY on your island.

dodo codes are for visiting players in real time, like while they are there and you can interact with them. dream addresses is like a saved version of their island that you can visit any time on your own
