• The way they talk: Resets custom catchphrases, but NOT nicknames or greetings.

How do you know you’re on trash island just by the looks? Like without fishing first?

On the title screen, press the - button to see Tom Nook. Select save data, then delete resident registration. Normally you would do this process with the user that you want to get rid of, but your issue is that the user was already deleted. Test these steps with your Resident Rep (as they can't be deleted easily) and see if Tom Nook gives the option to delete the old resident from there. If not, make a temporary user to take over where the old resident left off then follow the deletion steps I listed before with this temporary user.

After winning the card game, Nana suggested that Melba (one of her favourite villagers) wanted to move. bit late, sorry, but its not a glitch. the center design for that set doesn't have any transparent pixels, and isnt meant to be used on the in game pathing. because of that, the border designs (which have transparency) appear slightly darker due to the pathing beneath them, while the center retains the original color of just the design. if you use the designs without the dirt path underneath it will look right
