Just popping in to say I watched activity in my router and ran a stop watch. It took about 2 minutes and 30 seconds to upload the backup on my connection, with a max upload speed of 1000kb/s.

I'm too tired and bad at math to come up with a ballpark for file size, but this is roughly how long it takes me to upload four photos from my phone and less time than my Xbox takes to upload cloud saves. So just to have the info here for anyone else: the save backups are reasonable in size and imo much smaller than expected.

Should I restart my island?
When restarting, you will lose all of your DIYs and catalog. The start of the game is very tedious and people tend to forget this when resetting.
It is easier to remove everything and flatten your island.
Restart only if you don't like the position of your RS, airport, river ends, northern beach, etc.
For more opinions, we recommend asking in #acnh-chat⛱️ rather than here.

They may still be time locked. Only like 2 timezones (NZ & Fiji/other islands) are in March 1 atm so hopefully they unlock soon.

Most of Australia will hit March 1 in just over an hour so maybe they’ll be available pretty soon.

Hi! I've been traying to get bamboo but the mystery island is always the common fruit and trees one. Is someone able to let me a couple of bamboo tree seeds or something like that? Or is it any trick to spawn in the bamboo island? It has been like 10 times and nothing... thank you for all.

There's no trick to it, it's a 10% chance of getting the bamboo island, so it's quite fair. If you're having trouble you could always get shoots for bamboo via buying 100 turnips from daisy (she will mail you bamboo shoots the next day).

You will only get bamboos on mystery island if it's bamboo season on ur island!, and also daisy mae gives you bamboo shots everytime you purchased on her turnips she will mail u those and you can plant them!

Ah I see the problem. Custom paths can't get rounded. You would need to first place one of the default paths, round it and put the design over it. Then, if the design has at least one transparent pixel it should get rounded too

I'm not sure if there's anything like this, but when I tried to break down one piece of land, it said that there was something on the cliff when there was nothing visibly there. When I walk on that piece of land, it acts as if there's nothing there but if I try digging a hole there or swinging my axe in that direction, my character bounces back. I have a question about falling stars. Are they falling all the night (20:00-4:00) or just once that night ? Also is it like every hour one shower or is it random ?

• Shooting stars only happen between 7 pm and 4 am. There are two main types:

• Heavy meteor showers: These are usually announced by Isabelle and discussed by villagers, with stars shooting in groups of 5 to 8 roughly every minute or so during the whole night. These are pretty rare, averaging around 10 per year.
• Light meteor showers: Only a handful of 5-star groups shoot each hour, if said hour has a clear sky. These average between 5-10 per month.
• Note that weather patterns use a seed and are set in stone for your island, including when the shooting stars will appear, to the second. You can use Ninji's MeteoNook app (https://wuffs.org/acnh/weather/) to help determine your seed and get your weather and shooting stars forecast for your island.
