IIRC, outside of the cool-down period, it's 80% chance that a random villager will be chosen to have the the move-out thought bubble each day, and other random things could make it so that villager is unavailable (if they're inside a building, for example)

Skipping 30 days gives a higher chance at the move out bubble than 15 days, and you only need to do 1 day at a time after that, no need to skip multiple months. Setting the time back to 4:59 AM is almost the same as TTing a day forward, except slower. .t moveout is the best resource for moving villagers out.

I was just asking because I did hear once that a villager's moveout got cancelled when the user tt'd back because they went to the 7-day period before their birthday, but since Bones' birthday is in August and you're likely in February, that doesn't seem to be the case. Yeah you can still do the method to get someone to move out ^^ It may or may not be Bones though, I'm not 100% sure what happened so I'm not sure if he's locked from asking again to move. And you can use tt or wait, it's up to you, but it does seem like Bones won't be moving so it's probably easier to use tt.

Also breeding is more effective with other people who visit and water ur flowers, but they still do breed if u cant invite others

Otherwise, best for keeping the villager un-gifted: a stack of fruits/pumpkins (worth 750 bells or more) in wrapping paper
