For me it was smooth, it just transferred over with the rest of my stuff from my old switch

It should transfer everything. When you first open the game on your Switch 2, it will ask you if you want to start fresh or continue playing on your current island. Choose to continue on your current island.

It's not uncommon to spend several hours trying to get a move-out bubble in the villager you want. If you haven’t seen one on your target villager after two weeks of going day-by-day, I usually sync the time to the present and restart the process. Also, remember: you must have talked to the target villager at least once before they’ll even consider moving out

Is it something that only takes effect the next day?

Complaining to Isabelle resets catchphrases only, because they are the only thing that will change for all players of the island should one player change it. It's a moderation option so that all other players have a say and can undo something offensive one player would have entered.

Custom greetings and nicknames aren't shared between players of the same island, so no moderation should be needed on those, therefore complaining does not reset those.

I wouldn’t recommend grinding NMTs naturally. It is a long and arduous process, especially if you’re in the late game stages
If anything, I would suggest adding temporary residents to your island to generate miles and buy NMTs for you

You can get fragments on the beach / Digging them up I believe(?) and then you water them with your watering can or let it rain on them

Gyroid fragments wash up on the beach and you can bury them and water them/have it rain over them then dig them up the next day and you'll get a random gyroid

The only way to unlock it is to time travel forward a month to trigger the bed head animation. But once that happens, the style will permanently be added to your hairstyles

How do I get young bamboo

I think the easiest way is from mistery islands, the bamboo island is 10% (technically the most common one) but leave your ladders on your island so the chance could be higher (not sure on that). Also, i got them via mail from an npc once, dont remember wich one

That is actually 2 non-native fruits or 3 produces, wrapped in gift paper, in order to get an easy "optimal" (not the max) amount of points.
You probably misread the guide, as it says a single wrapped fruit is enough to get 8 points for a birthday gift (but not a daily gift).

You can get them off the chairs when KK finishes his show. So long as you do not have a tool equipped and sit beside them, you can move towards them when the concert ends and that stops them from sitting down immediately and can gift them. Since it's early in the day according to your screenshot, that's not an option here but if you log off and restart the game, they may not be sitting at the seats when you restart the game.

There isn't a bait equivalent for bugs, unfortunately. There's a limit to how many can spawn at once, so going into buildings to reset the outside or catching other bugs in the area might give it more chances to appear

Bug spawn mechanics are pretty complicated, so I'm not sure, but having an enormous amount of stumps probably doesn't help much. I'd try just having a few scattered around, and going into buildings after checking them until that bug shows up

Take out all the flowers and chop and dig up most of the trees
Run around until they spawn

Currently my first thing to do each day is running around the whole island and shaking every tree, but only not my fruit plantation.

That's random 🤷‍♂️ But from experience it seems that no matter how high/low the number you pick is, it doesn't affect the chance to get a lower/higher second pick, like it should mathematically normally do.
I genuinely think the game truncate possibilities to keep a 50/50.
I could be wrong, but I played many times over 6 years, and even when I picked a 8 or a 2, they managed half the time to take out a 9 or a 1.

Do not time travel back or forth a day with an empty plot. The game will see this as a day having passed and may autofill the plot

If you want to keep the plot empty for longer, be sure to stay on the same day. As long as you don't time travel back to before 5am and forwards to after 5am the next day, you should be good. I would say to TT back to 6 or 7am on the same day to be sure you don't accidentally skip a day

"If the player buries 10,000-99,000 bells, there is a 70% chance of 3x 10,000 bells and a 30% chance of 3x the amount buried."

The whole time I buried 99,000 bells and I only today noticed that I don't get the same amount back 🥲
So it's actually best to bury 10,000 bells, because I will make 20,000 bells plus, right?

I suggest rereading Step 2
The point of the time travel is to ensure that a move out thought bubble is active. That bubble will move around everyday. By using time travel you can specifically beeline to Olivia and check if a) she has a thought bubble and b) if the thought bubble is about moving out. Everyone else doesn't matter
As step 3 says: it doesn't matter if you save at this point or not

A plot often stays empty for a day. Depending on the situation it could be longer, but I wouldn't bet on it. If you want a specific villager, you can just TT to stay on the current day and hunt for one. Just make sure to not TT back before 5am or forwards past 5am the next day

I would suggest rereading the graphic. The "method" is nothing but minimizing the amount of time you're wasting. You should only care about Olivia if she's the one you want to leave. You do not need to search for who else has the move out thought bubble — jf you time travelled 1 month in advance as the graphic says to do there will be a move out bubble and it's just a matter of time travelling 1 day forward to see if Olivia has it.

I will usually go day-by-day for 15 days, and if I don't get a bubble on my target villager, I'll start the process over.
As long as you've: spoken to the target villager at least once, they weren't the most recent to move in, it's not within 7 days of their birthday, you're not relocating their home, and they weren't the most recent villager whose move out request you denied, the move out method will work. Unfortunately, it's not uncommon for it to take some time, but you'll eventually get them to leave!

And yes. So I'll skip forward 1 month, then check in day 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, and 15. If I don't see a bubble on the target villager I'll then skip 1 month forward and repeat checking in day-by-day for 15 days and continue the process like that

I’ve been trying to find my weather seed using Meteonook. I did start my island like a month ago, so after 2.0 and after 3.0 even. I only input weather I was 100% certain about but mostly used meteor times. I didn’t mess with the seconds. I keep getting that no seed matches. Am I wasting my time trying to find a seed that probably isn’t in meteonook because it’s likely a newer weather seed?

Afaik, weather seeds shouldn't have changed since the start of the game, however, Meteonook stopped being updated less than a year after the game's release, back when events were being gradually added still. Because of that, Meteonook doesn't account for a lot of the event days, which in-game are forcefully overriden with a clear weather pattern: make sure to not input data of those event days, as Meteonook often does not expect clear weather on that particular day

The most foolproof and simplest way to get your weather seed is to use shooting star times on a meteor shower night, rather than hourly weather which is more prone to user error due to how it changes gradually throughout the course of an entire hour

There are several different types of mystery islands, but all of them will either have normal trees, your native fruit trees, or trees with your sister fruit on them. The bamboo islands are one of a kind. If you have NSO, you can look into trading for some bamboo shoots in #flower-plants-trade , or you can also obtain some by buying turnips from Daisy Mae

theres a lower end price and a higher price! i believe the buy range is 90-110 bells -- the goal is to buy low and sell high. at the end of the day its up to you whether or not to buy at 99 or not, however if you do then id try to sell at a higher price than what you bought at (max sell price is 660 i believe!), but you can also sell on other islands if your island prices are low all week
