It's an issue with peer to peer communication specifically and has to do with the security settings on your internet itself. Try contacting your ISP. (Especially common if you use T-Mobile)

I think you got the time to get it since, but you can rely on the fishes shadow when you're looking for a specific one.
If it doesn't match the shadow of the expected fish, make it fly by running around it, so it would make another one spawn elsewhere. You can also accelerate the process by fishing on a mystery island as there is far less surface to check than on your main island.
Alternatively, the second strategy is to spam fish baits, making fishes that don't match the expected one's size fly, and catch the ones that could be the fish you're looking for.

They can't spawn behind obstacles that directly obstruct their visibility, so right behind buildings, cliffs, trees...
Also probably not directly against water.
But they don't require any particular empty space around them to appear. They can also appear directly next to each other.
So letting a bit of space (4-6 cells) should be enough. Here is a screenshot of a valid fossils farm:

If you sell on nookazon, at least 50k each depending on the gyroid but here I think people pay around 2-10k a gyroid on average. It's really up to you what you want to sell them for though, we don't have rules about setting prices.

Fish bait immediately spawns a random fish when you toss it into a body of water! It's useful for trying to catch rarer fish as you can force fish to show up at a certain location without waiting for them. Combining this with looking at shadow size, you can more easily look for certain fish!

It could be a nat error on your end, or the islands end. They also could've banned you from their island- but that's a bit more specific and you'd be able to join other islands, so it's most likely the first. Also if you don't have a switch 2, you wouldn't be able to join a lot of them if they use the switch 2 codes since they're only compatible with other switch 2s. My best advice is to test your internet, make sure both upload and download speed are over 8mbps, and your nst type is at least a b, and keep trying.

if a villager is a starting villager with the generic house, does that automatically make them heavily gifted for trading purposes or is that irrelevant? I'm really confused by how vague the classifications between light and heavy gifted is

gifted, as the name suggest is when they recieved gifts, if it's one of the 5 starters, they have a different home on your island but once they move they get the default one. however if you gifted stuff they can store / show off, this would be considered gifted.

light and heavy is imo irrelevant, but heavily would be they have tons on non default items on their home and clothing

Yeah, I think I answered you yesterday lol. Here typically they are priced as gyroids, not specific gyroids if that makes sense. They're usually sold here for 2k - 10k a piece. There's no rules about how you price them though, people just might not interact with your post as much if you do post really high. It's all personal preference though.

Youre gonna need more furniture and fencing than that. I usually put down 200-300 fence and plant foreign fruits and crops and then put all of the furniture I'd accumulated over time scattered everywhere.

A villager wants to leave. The next day they're as we call 'in boxes', that's when someone else can come ask that villager to come to their island instead. If you want a villager from that trade channel, you'll need to have an empty plot yourself.
(You will need a Nintendo Online subscription if you want to do this)

Nope, they won't. Once you have redecorated a house, it stays that way, with the exception of furniture being temporarily replaced with a workbench or kitchen when they want to craft or cook.

The switch 2 version doesn't really add a whole lot of features to the game. All versions have the 3.0 update which is the biggest part. The switch 2 just has a lot of performance upgrades, the ability to use mouse controls, and the megaphone (maybe some other small features). If you're getting the switch just for animal crossing, I'd suggest the OLED since there's no point forking over an extra 100 for a switch 2 when the game is the same on both.

Hi again, everyone! I’ve been playing the game for a few days now and just purchased the DLC. I have five villagers, unlocked all basic/“pretty good” versions of tools, and my resident services is changing to a building tomorrow, which is fun! I also just paid off my first home loan!

I didn’t expect the game to be quite so grindy, though, and I am very overwhelmed with gathering materials (especially chopping trees). I am disabled and autistic/ADHD, and spending a lot of time grinding Nook Miles and chopping trees is wearing me out!

I’m basically playing ACNH to decorate my island, wear cute outfits, and collect the villagers I want. Is there a way to get a bunch of crafting materials/DIYs/furniture at once without spending a ton of Nook Miles or bells? (Without asking for hand-outs/freebies, of course!)

I have a basic list of the “vibes” I want my island to have, like my ideal DIYs, flowers, and also dream villagers. I pretty much would prefer to dress up my character and decorate my island primarily, and then gradually fill in the museum/my Critterpedia. I’m usually okay with a bit of a grind, but the early days of the game are kind of overwhelming me!

I apologise if this is an impossible question! I really am enjoying playing a lot, but I just didn’t think it would take so long to really start decorating my island and dressing up my character! 😅

This is it. You need to have all 10 plots out and occupied before campsite villagers start suggesting to replace someone.
Before that, they will just say there is no space anymore if all of the 3-9 plots are occupied. At this moment, you can buy another plot and place it down, then invite them again and they will be able to move in.

if you really want to, you can go to Isabelle when a villager is wearing a certain clothing item and say that you want to "discuss a resident" and the "way they dress" upsets you. this will take the clothing item (that they are currently wearing) out of their inventory. you will have to regift it if you want them to wear it in the future though.

you have to go to any island and then clear it all out like take out all flowers and trees, then you dig holes into a square-like border around you, and the spiders will spawn. You jump into the square area you created so they dont bite and catch as many as you can. - I reccomend settling on a mostly flat and wide island, not the ones with many cliffs and rivers and waterfalls

I honestly find the NMT-based solution far more expensive considering the cost of a single NMT.
Saplings cost 650 bells which is, almost nothing, to be honest. If you're just starting the game recently and need a bit of money, you can dive to catch sea creatures, a whole inventory (~30 creatures) usually make you earn between 20000 to 35000 bells. Which is enough to buy 30 or more saplings.

Catalog islands are very hard to find nowadays, since treasure islands are a thing, and the HHP catalog has been introduced. By playing the DLC a bit, you would be able to order almost any (orderable) item of the game to Wardell.

You'll need to contact Nintendo support if you want to restore your island. Be warned that they may not do so, as it's usually meant to be restored in the case of a damaged or stolen Switch, but it's possible they'll restore it!

Continuing is the best and unique way. Daily-gifting them with 3 wrapped produces gives 2 to 5 points depending on your current friendship level with the villager. As you also have inevitably initiated the first conversation of the day when you do so, it also grants 1 other point. Assuming you also occasionally accept to do quests for them, you would usually reach the level 5 of friendship with a villager after around 30 days of interacting with and gifting them.

The chance to get a photo as a reward from daily-gifting a villager is 5.1% when you reach the level 5 (150 points). It still increases over time farming friendship points with them, up to 8.67% (when you reaches 255 points). But you would surely get the photo before reaching the cap.

If you complain about what a villager is wearing, it will remove only the clothes it is currently wearing from its wardrobe the moment you does it. But it doesn't empty the wardrobe completely. So you would have to do it as many times as there are items you want to remove.

Concerning their house decoration, there is unfortunately no way to complaint about it. The only way to avoid having a villager's house filled with random stuff you gift is to customize its house with the HHP feature. It will stunt its decoration, except when they temporary need to place a workbench/kitchen to craft.

If you trade them they will go back to their original decoration on the buyer's island, but they will remain gifted, meaning the decoration will still be altered with what you have gifted them until here.

Ultimately informing you changed their house with HHP isn't useful in this context (unless you want to avoid confusion when people visit their house on your own island), but you can indeed inform they have been gifted.

from what I can see on the pattern this is not meant to go straight at all, see all the stars and clouds ? it's meant to hide the lil curves there is on all patterns from what I see, if you do lots of loops this works though you need to alternate both patterns to do a path, it's tedious but if I try to simplify it it's like this

Research the "mannequin method" for controlling where your rocks spawn. You can break all six in one day, but they only reappear one per day and the mannequins get in the way a bit but clearing your island afterward takes seconds instead of the hours it would take if you paved your island.

If it's part of a set, and the owner did not take it down from their creator profile, and it's in a language you can type : you can type the name of the pieces you still have into the custom design portal's "Criteria Search" mode, find the ones you still have in the list, favorite the creator, then look at their entire collection using the Favorites Search mode to find your missing piece again.
You can also attempt to delete another piece from that set using the erase button, it should show you the name of the creator in the confirmation popup, which could be useful for searching for them and their creator code online.

Perhaps anybody can help me with some information?
I have followed the guide to make all rocks be in the same plot.
It originally worked and had all 6 lined up.

Now, I accidentally broke a rock (did not realise I had eaten a fruit), and then that one rock will not reappear in its original spot, even though I have followed the same guide.

It won't appear in that spot, but it will appear next to it. I am sending a picture. The hole is where I had it and where I want it to be again. But for some reason it doesn't work now.

There is nothing on the spot, as you can see. And the surroundings are clean.

Any insight would be helpful. Thank you.

Yep! As long as you don't talk to them the bubble cool down doesn't reset. It has a chance of landing on the same villager, or a new one the next day.

There is a few clues:

• Isabelle announce meteor showers if you start the game after 7pm, when it is the case, Celeste will be present.
• You can start a stretching group: if Celeste is on your island, there is a high chance she will participate.
• Celeste is sometimes in the Roost between 5pm and 7pm when she plan to wander on your island during the evening.
• IIRC villagers sometimes mention her when you talk to them while she's here.

There will always be an X amount of sticks on your island. If you collect and hide enough sticks they will not continue spawning. Some people hide them behind buildings. I do not remember how many.

Yep! You can reinvite them anyway that they can be invited to begin with. They won't remember you, however. And you're friendship will start from scratch. Theyll be a new version of themselves

I have been trying to find a fly. i put every type of garbage on the ground, the tire, can, boot and rotten turnip. All i get are ants. Is there a specific way that I should be putting the garbage on my island to get a fly or is there a different way to get one?

Rotten turnips will spawn ants more than flys. My technique is to put a single tire outside the museum and then enter and exit over and over to reset bug spawns until a fly appears

As for the first question, do you mean the furniture you unlock with some Amiiboo like the Zelda or Splatoon ones?

For the second question, it is a DIY recipe (https://nookipedia.com/wiki/Item:Glow-in-the-dark_stickers_(New_Horizons). As it is a part of the glowing-moss recipes set, you have better chance to find it in washed up bottles on the HHP island's beach. But you can also get it from bottles on your main island if you're very lucky, or from ones on Kapp'n boat tour islands (on glowing moss-themed island).

I honestly can't answer this question without testing it. My guess would be that you would indeed unlock some recommended items alongside the three required ones for the house in the HHP's catalog, that you could then order to Wardell (in the case they are regular items) or from the Nookshop app (for the special character's Amiibo-themed related set).

Maybe someone else already tried it here and could answer this.

But if you invite a regular villager (not a special one) with an Amiibo to make it a vacation house, I feel that it makes sense that you get the items this one is supposed to introduce if you approached it from the beach.
