okay so bugs & fish (sea creatures too), cannot be picked up by other players because when they are placed down they are furniture. he should be able to pick up the furniture as long as it is "dropped" instead of "placed" on the ground.

any players of any time played are able to pick up certain items from other peoples islands, but not creatures (bugs & fish) or placed furniture

yeah so treasure islands have items dropped instead of placed. when an item is placed, its decoration. decorations cannot be removed by visitors and they cannot be moved, placed, or picked up when visitors are on your island. so what you should do if you want to give him those items is have him leave, pick up the items into your inventory, and then have him come back. when he comes back, you can drop those items on the ground for him to pick up!

Okay thank you ^^ I was just confused cause I’ve picked up a cushion on a treasure island before. But I think for the elegant bed it won’t let me drop it, only place it. Not sure why unless it’s an item that can only be bought in Nook’s Cranny.

I'm not sure if I'm allowed to ask for this or not but I have some custom paths I downloaded via the internet, (it's like a citycore street path) however the crosswalk is too large. I was wondering if anyone would be able to help me modify it or perhaps modify it for me to have 2 stripes per tile instead of 1. This is not for anything except personal use. I just want it to fit my vibes more without having to completely redo 40% of my island pathing... I've tried acpatterns but it got the colors wrong and I'd have to do it all by hand and I'm not very artistic like that :/

Hi, could somebody help me troubleshoot this? I can’t for the life of me figure out why my last rock refuses to spawn here. The only thing I can think of is proximity to the community centre, maybe? But the other rock spawned no problem, and the marked area is 2 spaces away from the building. It’s 1 space away from the water, and I have 2 other rocks that spawned at the same distance from the water. I know for sure the rock isn’t spawning anywhere else. Help, please I’m so frustrated with this stupid rock lol

you need an empty space for the new villager. using an amiibo will allow you to move out one villager. it takes 3 days for amiibos to move in, you have to made diys for them for 3 days in a row.

They've officially been introduced to let people co-work on kind of "creative mode" islands together. You can invite your friends on it, and they can place furnitures and terraform too. But you can't "publish" the result as there is no dream address-like system on it.
As you can freely place any item from your own (including HHP's) catalog, they are mainly used by people to run outside decorations tests freely, before embarking in the same project on their main island.
Content creators on Youtube/Pinterest also use slumber islands to start new short projects.

If you saw the exact same one crafting the exact same recipe twice on two different days, then you were very unlucky. But it stopped in the meantime, it is just another roll that output the exact same situation on the next day.

The good money luck effect makes a gold nugget more likely to appear from hitting rocks, but doesn't remove the permanent limit of only one gold nugget spawn on your own island per day (the only permanent exceptions being if you spawn some more from destroying your rocks by eating food)
The blessing has other effects, like the coins in balloons, trees and the glowing spot being of higher values than usual, it lasts the whole day regardless of whether you find a gold nugget or not

If you meant invite other player online to live on your own island, no it is not possible.
You can only invite "players" that have a profile on your own Switch, meaning your surrounding using the same console. You can also create a new profile for yourself if you want to play with 2 or more characters on your island. It can be useful in the case you want to virtually double your storage room, daily arts you can buy from Redd, event rewards, DIY bottles, etc. But it is time-consuming.
If it is what you expect, you just need to create a new profile on your Switch, start the game and then select this profile to start it.

• How do I get them? — Turnips are sold by Daisy Mae on Sundays (5am to 12pm) after unlocking Nook’s Cranny.

• What do I do with them? — Buy them from Daisy Mae on Sunday, then sell them at Nook's Cranny sometime during the week before the next Sunday.

• Why? — Your goal is to make a profit. That means you want to buy at a low price & sell at a higher price.

• What's a "low" price? — Daisy Mae's prices range from 90 to 110 bells per turnip, so a price in the 90s is on the lower side.

• What's a "high" price? — Timmy & Tommy will buy at prices ranging from 9 to 660 bells per turnip. Yes, this means you can LOSE money. Anything 350+ is pretty high, but you can still profit with lower numbers as long as it's higher than what you paid.

• How many should I buy? — As many as you want (limited by how many you can afford & carry), but I recommend buying just a few at first if you don't fully understand how it works yet.

• Where do I put them? — Turnips CANNOT be stored in your home inventory. You can put them on the floor in your house, on the ground outside, or bury them. You can stack them into "bundles" to save space.

• How do I know when the sell price will be high? — You don't! That's the gamble of the stalk market! There are 2 different sell prices at Nook's Cranny each day; it changes at 12pm (noon). You can predict your future prices using fanmade tools such as Turnip Prophet or AC-Turnip.

• Can I time travel back to a better price? — NO!! ALL turnips will SPOIL if you travel back even 1 second. Prices WILL change if you go backwards. You can go forwards, but DON'T go past 5am on Sunday, or they'll rot.

• What if I have NO good prices? — You can see if anyone has a higher price in #daisy-nookling-ads, then use online play to travel to their island to sell!

on a moral level, i personally dont recommend. however, they are mostly safe. there are some items that WILL IRREPERABLY break your game. any item you cannot obtain normally (mannequins, mailboxes, moving kits/bridge kits) might not leave your inventory until you completely reset your game. getting maximum bells can break your "cornering the stalk market" achievement.

• How do I get them? — Turnips are sold by Daisy Mae on Sundays (5am to 12pm) after unlocking Nook’s Cranny.

• What do I do with them? — Buy them from Daisy Mae on Sunday, then sell them at Nook's Cranny sometime during the week before the next Sunday.

• Why? — Your goal is to make a profit. That means you want to buy at a low price & sell at a higher price.

• What's a "low" price? — Daisy Mae's prices range from 90 to 110 bells per turnip, so a price in the 90s is on the lower side.

• What's a "high" price? — Timmy & Tommy will buy at prices ranging from 9 to 660 bells per turnip. Yes, this means you can LOSE money. Anything 350+ is pretty high, but you can still profit with lower numbers as long as it's higher than what you paid.

• How many should I buy? — As many as you want (limited by how many you can afford & carry), but I recommend buying just a few at first if you don't fully understand how it works yet.

• Where do I put them? — Turnips CANNOT be stored in your home inventory. You can put them on the floor in your house, on the ground outside, or bury them. You can stack them into "bundles" to save space.

• How do I know when the sell price will be high? — You don't! That's the gamble of the stalk market! There are 2 different sell prices at Nook's Cranny each day; it changes at 12pm (noon). You can predict your future prices using fanmade tools such as Turnip Prophet or AC-Turnip.

• Can I time travel back to a better price? — NO!! ALL turnips will SPOIL if you travel back even 1 second. Prices WILL change if you go backwards. You can go forwards, but DON'T go past 5am on Sunday, or they'll rot.

• What if I have NO good prices? — You can see if anyone has a higher price in #daisy-nookling-ads, then use online play to travel to their island to sell!

3. You will see Tom Nook sitting on a stool. Read the warnings & click [A] to move on.
4. When he lists your options, choose [Save data].
5. Skip through the dialogue by pressing [A], then select [Delete resident registration].
6. Skip through the dialogue & select the red [Delete resident registration] to confirm.

If that's what you want. I've seen islands that close them off as much as possible and not use them at all. A spot of water becomes a river by either being connected to the river mouth or a waterfall, or just being large enough that the water starts moving. It's really random. You can still ask Katrina to get what your friendship level is with a specific villager (https://acnh.isomorphicbox.com/updates/2.0.0/#revealing-friendship), but it may take a bit of time before a villager decides to gift you its pic, even if you have the required level.

Once you reach favor level 5 with a villager, you have a chance of receiving a photo from them. It is possible to receive a photo in exchange for giving them a daily gift, as a reward for a quest in which your performance is good, in exchange for giving them a tier 2 or 3 birthday gift that they do not already own, or as a reward for a delivery when the recipient doesn’t just give you the delivered item.
Your chances of receiving a photo from one of those sources is equal to your friendship points divided by 25. For example, when you’ve just reached favor level 5 and have 150 friendship points, your chances of receiving a photo are 6% (150/25 = 6). hello! i am trying to figure out how to get the rainbow feather diy from pave. everything i look up just says to talk to him at the begining of the day, but he didnt give it to me when i first interacted with him. is there any other way to get the diy??
