if youre trying to get the curved look without the other pieces, i believe if you place an in game path in the shape you want then put a custom over it, it will take the shape. im not 1000% sure but its worth testing too :)

If you have visitors, the glowing spot will not be there. Close your gates and check around again. It's possible that you accidentally dug it up and didn't remember doing so if you're anything like me when doing daily tasks (then I'm like, why do I have a bell bag in my pocket?)

This is what I found for the roommates. a roommate does count as a separate resident for designing a home, but it's a specific mechanic for fulfilling client requests and unlocking features like the restaurant's second floor, not for adding new plot spaces on the map; you can assign a roommate to an existing home, and it counts towards your design quota, but it doesn't create a new lot. You can put up to two villagers in one home (total of three residents), and you can add roommates to previously built homes, which helps unlock certain furniture and special visitor appearances

For example I had to spend 10k on moving every building, and if it was in the wrong spot, I had to move it and then move it back correctly. And 10k each tear down or putting up any inclines or bridges. It adds up really really fast.

That can mean a few things. Most common is Nat types. If you dont have A or B type, you won't be able to connect, and if you have tmobile internet, they dont allow peer to peer communication which is required for acnh

Villagers can either walk on your island, sometimes also visit other villagers, Nook Cranny's, Able Sisters, or even the different parts of the museum.
If you have the Switch 2 Edition, you can still try to call him using the megaphone, but he would only answer if he is outside.

Very likely that your switch is just dusty. Get a can of compressed air, and do some gentle sprays into the vent at the top. As long as you're not fully pressing the trigger on the can, you won't damage anything.

Hey everyone! Wondering if anyone can help me with amiibo, tried googling but all i get is reddit pages. Im wondering basically how they work? My end goal is to get Chai and Mineru as villagers on my island, so some posts say to scan the card to invite them to the campsite, but other people say fan-made amiibos can be bought for cheaper? On ebay the amiibo cards are showing like $50 are they really that expensive?

I do advise to buy the official amiibos. Animal Crossing has cards, Zelda does not, so you'll have to get a figurine amiibo.

Fake amiibos are not allowed to be discussed in this server due to Nintendo ToS. That's all I can say about that.

i've had the same issue a long while ago and realized this only kept on happening when i was resting my switch on surfaces that kept on covering the fans at the back, such as a pillow or a blanket. if you're doing the same it might be a good idea to try and see if the issue resolves if you change the position of your switch

Timed results will vary unfortunately. It takes a while. Last time it was four hours for me. I typically follow the guide. I just make sure to start the game four minutes earlier than what the guide says. I find it easier to arrive before the suggested time at residence services. Then wait for the suggested time. I lap the island if I don’t see the target. Just reframe from engaging with the villagers while TT.

Hello, I had bought the game when it released and made an island on a Switch Lite. This Switch broke since then but still has my save file on it. I started last month a new island on a Switch OLED.
Question: is it possible to play from that Switch Lite (1st island) to go to another island online and drop any remaining items/bells I want to use again, and then visit that same online island with the OLED (2nd island) and get the items on the new island?

If the Switch Lite doesn't turn on and there are no backups, then no, sadly it's lost because each island is connected to a specific console. If you are able to get it to work again though, then you can use it to drop off your items to use them on your new island through Local Play.

Access to the DLC via NSO+Expansion Pack is only for the account that has the Expansion Pack. You'd need access to the Expansion Pack on all the accounts to get HHP that way. Hi there, is there a visual guide for the different fish sizes.
I'm trying to catch a Gar at the moment, apparently from my guide app they are larger than the other pond fish that can spawn at this time (catfish, carp and koi) but admittedly I'm not sure what the difference is looking at the pictures in my app. Is there perhaps some in-game screenshots I can refer to as a bit of visual aid to know when I have the right fish spawned?

Any technical information on how spawns work would also be much appreciated. I have no idea how to get things to spawn outside of running back and forth lol. The gar shadow is indeed larger than the koi and catfish ones. They are pretty rare though. If you don't want to do back and forth, you can use fish baits to try to make it appears, it may be the best strategy

Im pretty sure you can invite him to the same plot on the same day. Your friendship will reset though, since he will be counted as a "new" villager.

If you have the dlc, you could just recreate his og house if you dont want to lose your friendship with him

Yeah, if decorating isnt your thing, the dlc isnt ideal. It offers a lot, like a means to make bells faster when you unlock the conversion thingy, and a lot of cool stuff like wall partitions, different colored room lights, ambience, etc, but its not for everyone lol

You can check on Pinterest if you need theme ideas, fillers or other kind of decorations ideas.
Placing furnitures will grant points no matter the shape, so you can get inspiration from what you like and do what you want basically. Just be careful with the amount of trees/flowers/weeds and dropped items. You can talk to Isabelle to know if you have too many / not enough specific things on your island.

When it says direction depends on the time of day and beach layout, is there something more extensive explaining that and the exact conditions of it?

The side changes during day and night, the exact time changes everyday so no and the side during the day or night also depends on your island.
If you see it go west to east during the day it'll always be that, then when the evening starts to fall it's going east to west

I minmaxed this a bit by checking my villager's birthdays, time travelling, to the week that catches most of them 7 days before their birthday (ofc excluding the ones i want to move out), putting the moving kit of a villager Not in the pool in my inventory, and also telling a villager i don't want to move out not to move out when they ask. in addition to the last villager that's moved into your island never asking to move out, it meant i went from a 10% chance of the person i wanted to ask to move as one out of ten, to having a one out of four chance to ask, aka 25%
