You'll need to put on a diving suit! You should be able to purchase one from Nook's Cranny. Once you're wearing it, press A to enter the water at the beach. While you're swimming, press Y on top of a shadow in the water (there will be bubbles) to dive and catch a sea critter!

Trees need to be one space away from a cliff. If there's too many trees in a place, not all will grow. You can always grow your trees elsewhere and replant them

🙅‍♂️ You CANNOT remove the Island Representative (the person who started & named the island) without deleting the island entirely!

1. Launch ACNH as the player you would like to remove.
2. Press [−] on the starting screen, NOT [A].
3. You will see Tom Nook sitting on a stool. Read the warnings & click [A] to move on.
4. When he lists your options, choose [Save data].
5. Skip through the dialogue by pressing [A], then select [Delete resident registration].
6. Skip through the dialogue & select the red [Delete resident registration] to confirm.

I can't for the life of me seem to get my villagers to spread out and go to different areas on my village it's only in like one area I've heard this is common but is there a thread talking about how to make it more common for the villagers to walk around the entire island I do have a ton of trees I haven't chopped down yet and I only have a little bit of paving I've tried to pave a way for a fishing lake but nobody seems to be using it

at least on my island and in my experience, villagers tend to follow the paths around my island. and i feel like they prefer paths that are 2 squares wide. maybe if you connected the areas you want them to go to with paths, they would spend more time there?

on my island i treat my paths like desire paths almost. i definitely moved some trees to make my paths, but the paths go around them too! it all depends what kind of look you want, do you want your paths to behave like highways? or do you want them to be like rural roads?

Rural roads is fine I just want to see the villagers actually walking around and checking stuff out cuz a lot of times they're just kind of at the plaza or by their houses and I know that like I think the AI for them for the pathfinding specifically is designated to stay around their houses I think so maybe it's just I have too many of the houses group together and I need to spread those out further around the island but I've also heard you take like three villager houses and throw them in one area then they'll just hover in that one area basically so you'll just isolate those villagers I believe

thats a good point that i kinda forget alot. spreading out the villagers houses is definitely another good way to have your villagers around more areas by default. i would say though that on my island my villagers houses are mostly pretty grouped up, and they still do spend a lot of time walking around the island in different areas. i only occasionally spot my villagers hanging out in their yards. i think, at least for my island, that they dont like being in their yards because theyre very heavily decorated (maybe, not sure). i also know that a lot of my villagers have the education hobby which means they like looking at statues and fossils and bug models i have strewn about the island.

When they said non-native fruit, that means whichever of the apple/cherry/orange/peach/pear isn't your native fruit and not coconuts. Those fruit sell for 500 bells each so two would be 750+ but coconut sell for 250 each and would need three in the stack. You can always gift assessed fossils as they sell for 750+ and are coded not to be placed in villagers homes.

In Animal Crossing: New Leaf for the Nintendo 3DS, there was a similarly named custom t-shirt hosted by Nintendo in some facet.

I have one of my villagers asking me that they want to move away. If I let them, is it possible that I might see them again at some point? Like moving back in?? I'll be actively rotating my villagers out and letting random ones move in, whichever game deems to fill the empty house lot with. But I was wondering if they'll remember me if they happen to come back at some point in the rotation (the probability of them returning is very low, I know ... but I just wanted to know if anyone else had any experience in this)

Additional question: Do I need to clear my in-game friend list for this to work?

That's how I understand it at least 🤔

But that is the reason why I wanted to know if they can still return from what ever void they get put in, if I just let them go and let the game rotate random villagers.
(Also for this to work, my thinking is that you shouldn't let anyone to take them when they are in boxes. Kinda looking at this from purely solo play without online options.)

there’s a storage shed that unlocks after paying off all the home loans, that can be purchased through the nook stop! though if you’re still in the stage of upgrading your house, i recommend trying to trade for the item itself in #furniture-trade ! 🤍

of course! just a quick tip/heads up for the snow crab — you must have caught at least 40 sea creatures in total before the snow crab will appear underwater for you to potentially catch! it’s one of the fastest sea creatures, and i’ve found the best technique to catch those is to use your joystick to slowly wade towards the bubbles while above water and slowly inch closer until you’re basically floating on top of where the bubbles are at the surface and you can no longer see the shadow under the water… and THEN dive under and you should catch it before it can swim away!

Okie dokie! I just asked cuz sometimes treasure island roses aren't coded to clone, or produce different colored flowers.
In this case, just make sure you have a 3x3 space around the rose and water it every day. Also if youre able to have guests, having 5 unique visitors water it every day increases the odds of cloning by around 80%. Just relying on time travel won't get it to clone, as the beautiful island ordinance really only affects villagers watering, and the chance of them breeding to create hybrids.

I thought I had seen videos that if an NPC is in town on a specific date, it will always be in town on that specific date. I just started trying to get my art completed trying to refresh Red's boat by going back to 4:59 and letting the date roll over to the date i found him on. But i keep getting different NPC's . It does! NPC's will visit on the same day if you stay in the week. The thing is, new weeks in ACNH start on Mondays. So by starting a new Monday, you're starting a new week, which changes the NPC schedule

You can put things in your house storage if you have a house and not a tent. You can also upgrade your pockets (backpack) after paying off the first 5,000 Mile loan, and then again when Resident Services is a building and not a tent

The custom designs stay in their "inventory" until you clear them with Isabelle. As for why they won't wear the new ones, presumably it's just bad luck--be patient and eventually they should pick them up!

I would assume actively sweeping their house with boxes. If they're not all the way moved in with furniture, it might not work. But it takes 3 days and 3 amiibo scans to move someone in with amiibo anyway. I've moved in amiibo villagers back to back before with no issues

camper can kick anyone, no matter if you have a natural or amiibo camper, and no matter your villagers, as long as you talked to them they can be kicked. the latest villager will not ask to move out but can be kicked out
