It should be possible without time travel though if you don't want to time travel. Your to-do list will look something like this (loosely)

Pay off your nook miles debt (you can Google easy ways to get easier miles that are initially hidden from the list)

Upgrade your tent to a house

Build nooks cranny

Move in 3 villagers which as you probably know Tom will prompt this

The initial setup transfer from Switch 1 to Switch 2 is about as safe as the Island Transfer Tool. The setup transfer basically happens automatically, so it's a little easier than the Island Transfer Tool

Hello all. I'm looking for tips on how to line up buildings (such as the tailor and Nook's Cranny) especially when they are far enough to not be in the same shot with my camera?
I'm thinking I should create a path that goes directly east/west from one of them until I want to place the other one, but I'm not sure how to line up the 2nd building with the path for the doors to be aligned.

• What do I do with them? — Buy them from Daisy Mae on Sunday, then sell them at Nook's Cranny sometime during the week before the next Sunday.

• Why? — Your goal is to make a profit. That means you want to buy at a low price & sell at a higher price.

• What's a "low" price? — Daisy Mae's prices range from 90 to 110 bells per turnip, so a price in the 90s is on the lower side.

• What's a "high" price? — Timmy & Tommy will buy at prices ranging from 9 to 660 bells per turnip. Yes, this means you can LOSE money. Anything 350+ is pretty high, but you can still profit with lower numbers as long as it's higher than what you paid.

• How many should I buy? — As many as you want (limited by how many you can afford & carry), but I recommend buying just a few at first if you don't fully understand how it works yet.

• Where do I put them? — Turnips CANNOT be stored in your home inventory. You can put them on the floor in your house, on the ground outside, or bury them. You can stack them into "bundles" to save space.

• How do I know when the sell price will be high? — You don't! That's the gamble of the stalk market! There are 2 different sell prices at Nook's Cranny each day; it changes at 12pm (noon). You can predict your future prices using fanmade tools such as Turnip Prophet or AC-Turnip.

• Can I time travel back to a better price? — NO!! ALL turnips will SPOIL if you travel back even 1 second. Prices WILL change if you go backwards. You can go forwards, but DON'T go past 5am on Sunday, or they'll rot.

• What if I have NO good prices? — You can see if anyone has a higher price in #daisy-nookling-ads, then use online play to travel to their island to sell!

Hey friends~! some of you may have known about my known NAT error issue I've been having throughout the year. Just wanted to say that I got it fixed, and it was a new solution that I hadn't come across anywhere in these threads and reddit yet! thought I'd share how I ended up fixing it, WITHOUT needing to buy any kindof new ISP or router 💸, in case someone else is still having the same issue!

In the end, I started a troubleshooting email thread with my Internet Service Provider, and I shared a simple list of:

1. the problem I was having (unable to play with friends via Nintendo Switch, getting the 2618-0513 error code)
2. a picture of my switch showing the error code
3. a list of everything I'd tried to fix it
4. how long the problem had been going on

They emailed right back, explained that the CGNAT barrier was causing issues with my specific modem for some reason, and said they'd put me on a "public IPv4 address". they pushed that through same day, and i was playing with my friends that night!!

I seriously hope this helps someone else out there! I was so happy my ISP did this for free and so quickly 🙌

now I can play AC:NH with friends again, getting geared up for that sweet update coming next month 🤪

One of the requirements needed for villagers to have the ask thought bubble, states, "At least 15 days have passed since the last time a villager moved out from your island."
Now, let's say I'm trying to move out my villager Katt. Skye is the most recent villager to move in. She just moved in a day ago.
If I time travel backwards by 15 days and then boot up the game, save, exit the game, and proceed to time travel 15 days forward, would that count as 15 days passed or not. Do the 15 days only count if it's after the day Skye moved in?

The Solution: Move some trees to a less crowded area to fully grow, then move them back to wherever you want.

I would just make sure you’re in the right season in your hemisphere for them to spawn and just check all your villagers every day when they’re outside. You’ll see one hopping around on a villager and they’ll also have dialogue saying that they’re itchy and stuff. I hope that helps and good luck!

I remember having this issue in 2020, having to do something involving Internet NAT Types - ACNH needs NAT A or B, its possible thats your problem and if so all I can recommend is to read more on this and how to change it

Not sure if anyone will have an answer for me, so today I had an empty plot from a villager moving out yesterday (they were in boxes yesterday). So I went to an island with a NMT and ended up inviting the first villager I encountered. So that plot is now sold. But I only had 9 plots on my island and I believe you can have 10(?) So I placed a new plot but when I went to another island with a NMT there was no villager there. Is there a reason the villager wasn’t showing up on the island I visited even though I have a new empty plot available? (I already saved and restarted and tried another NMT with no luck)

Guys i really need help, about a year or so, my Nintendo switch lite was stolen. I had my account and island on it. After it was stolen, i had my friend log in on my account and she was able to upload my island to check if it was messed with and it wasnt. Skip a while later i have the Nintendo switch 2, i go to get the game and its like im restarting, im scared to do anything and having it start a brand new island. I had her relog into my account on hers and its my account and character but its on her island. I had her do the island backup and its still her island. I dont know what to do or how to get my island back. Ive even contacted support but they didnt help me out much they just sent me a link with steps to transfer old data to the new system which wouldnt work either because it would be transferring her island to my new system which isnt what i want to do. She even said when she sees my account it shows how many hours i have on it. I know the island isnt lost because like i said i had logged in on her account before so what do i do. Im stuck and in a panic

You unfortunately have to wait for your own ABD to open back up. If you try to go into someone else’s island and use their ABD it will tell you along the lines of you have to be a resident of that island.

You’re welcome. The outside ABD are different, you can access them, but it’s only your savings account. The inside ABD does everything but it has to be your own ABD which sucks.

Accounts don't matter, switches do. If she logged your island on her switch you need to use the transfer like nintendo told you. However if she has her own island on her switch, she either reset your island or she never logged it.

Diy are random. Be sure to check your beaches for the bottle, and 3 villagers will craft during the day. The more variety in your villager's personality the more diverse diys you'll get.
Be also sure to shake your trees. On your island if you have enough trees you can get 2 items from them everyday, check out nook cranny they can have furniture. Pop balloons. If you use nook miles tickets also shake trees and check for bottles.

• Visit mystery islands with Nook Miles Tickets. These islands always have rocks you can hit for materials.
• Trade with other players in #materials-and-tools if you have Nintendo Switch Online.
• Wait for the rocks to respawn (each day at 5am) & maximize your hits by using a shovel (it's slightly quicker than the axe). Dig holes behind where you would stand to prevent your character from getting pushed back further & further from the rock.

There is the option to backup ur island, so when i was logged in she did that and i was able to walk on my island as my character on her system. Then whe logged out and had her island, she has had that island before i logged in. Ive done this even with my other account. The thing is now i know the island is still somewhere but with my new system it does the transfer thing. When she logged back into my account it only boots up to her island. Thats the thing i know for sure that she was able to have my island there and i know for sure she didnt delete it or start a new one

I looked up though and i guess i gotta call the support and figure it out i guess they have a separate data or something

Press the minus button from the title screen. Tom Nook will guide you with those settings, but you should only be enabling "Enable island backup". You need NSO to do this.

ACNH allows one island per switch. Not sure how your friend was able to access your backup. From what i understand, the backups are saved on Nintendo servers for situations like yours where you lose access to your island. What did you ask them last time? If you were able to successfully backup your island, support should be able to help you retrieve it.

Storefronts can be unlocked in the dlc. If you dont have that, theres no way to manipulate what items show up in nooks. Most reliable way I've found to obtain a specific item is to use discord marketplace channels to find someone willing to sell, trade, or catalog.

I was wondering about something.
The two starter villagers and the 3 villagers where you set the plots and craft the furniture at the beginning ... they don't have their real houses. If one of those villagers leaves and another player talks to them about moving to their island ... then they will still have the same house on the other island. They won't have their real house on the other player's island.
Am I assuming correctly? Or am I wrong?

If they move they have their default house(the one they should have) plus the gifts they've stored if you have given any.
If you have the dlc you can reset their houses on your own island as well

If you search your island, youll find a glowing spot on the floor somewhere. If you dig it up with a shovel, youll obtain 1k bells. You can then bury bells (10k is optimal) and a sapling will sprout. You can dig it up and plant it where you want your money tree to be. In a few days time, youll have a money tree with 3x what you buried. If you shake it it becomes a regular hardwood tree.

But I haven’t unlocked to flimsy shovel or the axe yet. How do I progress, cuz it’s not giving me the recipes. Ps. When I go to Tom Nook, I do not have the option to show off creatures.

You have to invite them unfortunately or they’ll never leave and you can’t progress you can always kick them out later on!

You can use them as many times as you’d like! You can invite and move out the same villager as many times as you want and you can always move them back in. That’s a good way to make NMT/bells by trading villagers off and getting them back again ^^

If your sister has a secondary profile on her console and she hasn’t progressed to the next in-game day, she can actually log in as that character and ask Maple to stay

If you're holding a villager for someone (like a friend or something doesn't matter) and you kick them out with an amiibo camper, they don't move out right away do they? So someone could still pick them up?
(I can't remember the last time I used an amiibo camper...)

Hosting your island (Local or Online):

• Speak to Orville and tell him you want visitors
• Select Local Play or Online Play
  • If you are doing Local Multiplayer then just selecting Local Play should be all you need to do
• Selecting Online Play you chose who can visit as either "All my friends", "Only my best friends", or "Invite via Dodo Code"
  • All Friends and Best Friends Only are self explanatory
  • Invite via Dodo Code will have Orville tell you a short mix of letters and numbers (E.g F6TJ2), this is what you share with the person you want to visit your island
    • Invite via Dodo Code also has an only friends, only best friends, or the more the merrier (the more the merrier allows anyone with the code, even not on friends list)
    • Dodo Codes are what get used for trades and the likes, as its the only way to join those you arent Switch friends with
• The gate will open and then either send the Dodo Code to the people of your choice or wait for your friends

Joining locally (Two or more Nintendo Switches in the same room):

• Speak to Orville and tell him you wanna fly
• Tell him you want to visit someone and select via Local Play
• Orville will find the island that is open and ask for confirmation its the correct place
• Tell him yes and then you are on your way

Joining online (Requires Nintendo Switch Online):

• Speak to Orville and tell him you wanna fly
• Tell him you want to visit someone and select via Online Play
• Select either "search for a friend" or "Search via Dodo Code"
  • Search for a friend will search for Switch friends with open gates, confirm its them and you're on your way
  • Search via Dodo Code lets you enter a Dodo Code (Read Ho

1. The plot needs to be empty so the day she is gone

2. The only guaranteed day for it to be empty is the first day. If you play online it will most likely auto fill the next day. If you don't play online it's a 20% chance everyday

3. You can tt, keep in mind animal crossing days are from 5am to 5am, so be sure to stay within that animal crossing day
