• Upgrade your tent to a house.
• Complete the DIY workshop with Tom Nook.

I just got back into the game and I never villager hunted before but now I found my list of dreamies and I want to start. I know after telling a villager to stay it’s 5 days until another one will want to leave and that’ll take a long time considering I want to go through all 10. I also heard that once 1 leaves and the house is empty I can spend the whole day travelling to islands looking for my 1st dreamie and if I don’t get it and the plot auto fills I can just go back a day. What I wanted to ask was consequences of time travelling. I don’t really mess with turnips anymore. So I wanted to ask if I say went a week in the future, got a villager to ask to leave. Skip to the day until they leave and search for my dreamie. Once my dreamie comes to my island can I time travel back to the actual date in real life or will that not work

Question abt campsite, whenever i open my acnh and saw someone in the campsite by looking into the opening scene, not open the game and saw isabelle’s daily announcement then time-travel into another day and the campsite visitor is gone

They will always breed unless your layout leaves place for cloning (like checkerboard layouts for example)

i tried looking up the issue i had online and followed what seemed to be every possible solution. restart, reset, change password, dns, unblock MAC, something with ips.... nothing worked.

after all that, i reset the wifi settings in the switch and it connected. NO CLUE WHY. that's where i started and it didn't work but i guess all the fumbling around and then starting from 0 kind of fixed it!

Just wondering, has anyone tried to see what happened when you transfer turnips to another island that's already in the next week? I know you can travel there without turnips spoiling, but what happens if you drop them there?

For example: it's currently Saturday 7:45 am over here, in NY it's Saturday 1:45 am. Tomorrow around this time I'll be on Sunday morning in the next week, people in NY aren't yet and their last week's turnips are still doing fine. If they drop their turnips on my island, will they stay fresh until my island reaches the next Sunday morning 5am? So would it give a loop hole to keep turnips fresh forever as long as you have two islands available and let them run in different timezones?

assessed fossils are also worth a lot, I usually collect lots of fossils and sell them, you can get thousands of bells that way

i'd recommend catching fish and putting them in your storage. wait until the beaver visits your island and then sell all your fish to him! makes sooooo much more money then selling them to nooks cranny.

it's normal, if you leave a plot open without inviting anyone it can fill the next day

this happens especially if you play online, you most likely have a small queue of villagers waiting to move in and will do so first chance they get

not really, adopt the day the plot is free so the day the place it, or the day after villager is in boxes, if you time travel you can time travel to stay within that day until you find someone, if you don't time travel but you have lots of nook miles tickets, as long as you don't leave the airport when you come back to your island, the new day will not load, so you can look like this as long as you have all tickets on you.
So you can look as long as you need to adopt

I prefer leaving it on a diggable floor for jinxy reasons only, a good way to get it is to leave it near your house door or a shop, and enter/leave the building so it can spawn quicker, since the insect reset each time you get out.

These are called treasure island. Most of them are full of hacked items be mindful of what you pick up you can break your game.
They are usually not advertised on here since they are modded and it's not allowed on this server.
If you find them, bear in mind to never ever pay real money for them, in form of an actual transaction or a twitch subscription/ prime subscription. Never pay money for a game to other parties

Once you complete the three plots quest for Tom Nook then the next villager you have to invite to your island is your first campsite villager! You might have to wait for Resident Services to upgrade and do a few small tasks for Tom Nook before he gives you the kit to build it

How long until you can build the campsite depends on how fast you complete everything for Tom Nook. Resident Services upgrading will day one in-game day, but you can time travel if you don’t want to wait. As soon as you build the campsite, I believe the first villager visits right away. You do have to take that villager or else they’ll never leave and you won’t be able to progress in the little storyline, but you can always kick them later on if it’s someone you don’t like ^^

• You need at least 5 villagers to be fully moved onto your island.
• Unlock the museum (can either be the tent or the upgraded building).

To unlock the museum, give 5 different critters (bugs, fish, or sea creature) to Tom Nook.
• If both of these are met, Tom Nook will announce that Resident Services will be closed the following day for construction. The day after that you’ll have the building! (You can time travel to make this process quicker.)

I was under the impression that I could visit my friend and help them decorate or take a barrel from their hands and run away while they chased me, or if I place something down, they could move it too, but that doesn't seem to be the case? I could've sworn i saw an AC yt video with gameplay of that happening..

online, when someone is actively visiting, would prevent certain insects from appearing, that require interaction with the environment, you also won't get the rock drops if you haven't hit them yet, you can"t decorate or donate to the museum

the most your friends can help with is cutting trees, and digging up stuff if they are your best friends, and they can plan flowers, but you don't have much freedom when someone is visiting

you can place custom designs from your phone even if someone is there I believe

how it works, if there is a "main" player, that names the island. they need to be the one progressing the story to unlock stuff, then you can have a partner you play with, you can play at the same time, though it controls are a bit different, as far as I know they can pick up stuff or do stuff while you also are playing, you are limited to the screen space you can share if you play at the same time.
I find this awkward, and people I know prefer playing each on the island, to have their own lil corner.

for flowers, you just need flowers / bushes / trees overall; however you only get point from fully grown trees and bushes, and you get more points for blooming flowers, and fully grown vegetables. the only way the acres matter is for furniture, too much items in one spot can prevent you reaching 5 stars, isabelle would talk about a walking hazard or something like this

Hello all! I hope this isn’t considered spam, as I’ve posted my question on reddit as well, but I don’t have high hopes for it being answered.

I just got back into acnh and it for some reason is only playing one song on loop, not changing on the hour like it used to. My island is fully upgraded, no idea what is happening. I can’t even find this song online in the soundtrack. Can someone help? I want it to go back to the hourly soundtrack instead of this one song forever.

if you ended this conversation the camper will not change their mind on who they'll kick. next time if you want to camper to kick someone else, close the game when you see the name pop up and restart, try to convince the camper ahain and they can choose someone else.
For holding, I'm not sure the middlemen could hold Ione for long, though you can try asking #request-a-middleman🛎️🙋‍♀️ you can also try in #player-services but you are not guaranteed to be with someone who will uphold their end of the bargain when you have a spot, they need to have ione kicked

Given that it's nowhere near Dom's birthday, my only guess is the friendship points. I have 8 human residents but 7 of them don't really interact with the villagers. I also have 3 new villagers with low friendship with my main resident while Dom's friendship level is high.

Should I try leveling up friendship with the other 3 on my main or build friendship with the other humans?

You can try to level friendship with the three newer villagers on your main to see if that helps any. Just keep in mind the move-out process is completely RNG (randomized), so there’s no telling how long it’ll take for Dom to get the move-out bubble. If you’re having trouble getting him to ask, then it could just be bad luck with RNG if you’ve been time traveling a while and have not had any results. You could always try and sync back to real time and start again to “reset” the RNG and see if you have better luck then. There’s nothing you can do to mess this process up since it’s a naturally occurring in-game process that you’re just speeding up. I hope this helps and good luck 🤞🏼

What do you mean by measurements? I think your best bet is eyeballing it, but with the grid lines on the map it shouldn't be too hard, you can use paths to mark the grid lines from the map onto your ground

Wishing more than 20 times doesn't do anything. You're capped at 20 star frags if you're wishing by yourself.
To get the max of 40, you need friends to wish a total of 100 times.

I don't think so. The layout design is extremely important for that to work, so you can't just rearrange it. Also, I'm not sure where to find the actual layout since that link no longer works.

Instead of trying to do one large all-in-one layout, your best bet is probably focusing on a few species at a time.

There are some websites that can help you predict what price trend you have for the week if you enter in your prices.

Nintendo Online just gives you the ability to sell your turnips at other people's islands, so if your island has bad prices, you can ask around and see if anyone has higher prices. Also if you time travel, you can just wait until someone advertises that they have a high price (like 300+) and then you can just time travel to Sunday, buy turnips, and head over to their island to sell immediately.

Erm, well, perhaps when Nookbot decides to work, but short answer is you can get up to two other fruits via both Nook Miles Tickets and an early letter from your mom in-game. The others have to be obtained from trading (besides coconuts)

Every day there will be a glowing spot on your island. Dig it up with your shovel and there will be a hole with glowing dirt in it. Bury a sack of bells and that will grow into a money tree! We recommend burying 10,000 Bells since that always gives you 30,000 back

ungifted means the person trading said villager hasn't gifted the villager any items, if a villager is gifted items they can wear clothes or have furniture placed from those previous gifts, so ungifted it essentially like they haven't been given anything like that, people preferably want ungifted villagers most of the time as it is like getting a fresh villager from a nmts island, however it doesn't necessarily add value to the villager

So the immediately obvious solution is just not having the limitation at all. You can already trade creatures with people who live on the same island as you. What's the difference between that and trading with people from other islands.

you can't trade per se, you need to get a villager to move out, the following day it's "in boxes" someone can adopt them, then the following day, you can adopt from someone or an island. if you don't have 10 villager yet you can place a plot and adopt from someone, though remember adoptions are limited in time, and empty plots can fill automatically on the following day

step 0: player 1 has a villager in boxes, player 2 has an empty plot
step 1: players 1 and 2 discuss a suitable price for the villager, typically in bells and/or nook mile tickets
step 2: when a price is agreed upon, player 2 goes to player 1s island
step 3: player 2 talks to the villager, says "yo come to my place". also drops the payment
step 4: profit 👍

afaik you cant have a villager moving out and an empty plot at the same time so its not really a villager for villager trade? you can kinda replicate that w time travel

.t balloons // they usually spawn at every 15 minutes or so, so for example 10:00, 10:15, 10:30 etc. they float from one side of your island during the day and switch to the other side of your island at night

how can you troubleshoot lag? this small part of my island gets extra laggy even though there's nothing thay would cause it i think :( I've removed wheat fields, any small moving furniture, custom pathing etc. its only this small section that lags a lot while the cluttered convenience store downstairs is perfectly fine

Hey everyone!! I've just started playing this game, played for like only a week or so. I have the necessary things to get villagers. And I've put down a plot for a new villager. I've recruited one random from mystery island today, but the next time I went, there were no one there. Even though I had put down a new one after that. So I have one available right now, not sold. And I've checked multiple times (rip my Nook points...) but still no one. I've tried to restart the game, nothing. Is it limited to one a day or is my game just bugged? Thanks in advance for help

(to clarify, I bought one plot for the one I've recruited, then I made the same process again but this time I didn't see any villager on mystery island)

Just clarifying, you’ve unlocked resident services? You can only get one per day unless you’re doing the starting 3 plots

What are the best ways to make money on the island, I know of the money tree, any others, I also know pumpkins sell for a decent price, I had the idea of stockpiling stuff in storage and just selling it all when I have a huge amount

Selling sea creatures from diving is a good source of money, obviously fishing and bug hunting as well

But the best way to earn money fast is with turnips
You can buy them on Sunday mornings from Daisy Mae and try to sell them in the following week for a higher price and make a profit

Some people open their islands on here if they have a high turnip selling price so you can make a huge profit, but personally I’d try to not rely on that as you make too much money and end up having nothing to spend it on
But it’s up to you

Buy a suit, from the nook miles redemption or the shop, when you wear it press a near the ocean

All veggies sell for the same, not just pumpkins. Replacing most of your trees with off-island fruit is another big passive money-maker. If you're looking for long term investment, you can also save high-value fish and bugs for when CJ and Flick visit. Alongside the money tree there are money rocks. Appraised fossils sell for a really good amount. Yellow balloon presents are prone to dropping bells. Once you've unlocked dreaming, taking a minute to save your dream each day gets you bells. If you don't need Nook Miles, 500 miles gets you 3,000 bells with vouchers.

And........of course............diving and turnips.
