Kapp’n islands you can only visit once a day but you can come across special islands like shooting star island, cherry blossom island, etc. Mystery island tours with Nook Miles Tickets you can visit as many as you like in a day, so long as you have tickets to use. You might come across more rare islands like bamboo island, bell island, but the chances are low. Those are also the only islands that villagers will appear on if you have an empty plot.

To have a five star island you really just have to continue decorating, there is a method to getting a five star which is a little detailed and intricate but really its having flowers, trees, diys, ect all as decorations

With NMT's (Nook Miles Tickets) those can take you villager hunting, some people will post online when they have certain villagers in "boxes" (AKA ready to be asked to move in) but if you dont have anyone who already has that specific villager, really your luck will be with villager hunting or getting the amiibo card

• If both of these are met, Tom Nook will announce that Resident Services will be closed the following day for construction. The day after that you’ll have the building! (You can time travel to make this process quicker.)

Yeah, if you delete a design and have it uploaded in the portal it’ll also be removed from there. If you shared the code for that custom design anywhere (like in this server, etc.) and someone goes to enter that code, it’ll give them an error message and won’t let them use it.

you shouldn't need gold nuggets as far as I know, only iron ? but nonetheless, the other rocks can be on the cliffs where you can't access yet ! if you have nook miles ticket and use them, don't forget to pick the rocks there, they have higher chances for iron each rock can be hit up to 8 times in a short time to get the most out of them, don't hesitate to take advantage of that !

• Visit Nook Miles Ticket islands (mystery tours). These islands always have rocks you can hit for materials.
• Trade with other players if you have a Nintendo Switch Online subscription in #materials-and-tools.
• Wait for the rocks' respawn (everyday at 5 am) and maximize your hits by using a shovel (as it's slightly quicker than the axe), and dig 3 holes in a row behind where you would stand when you hit the rocks (example below, but obviously you can also be to the left or right or behind the rock too)

Hold the net steady by keeping your finger on the button, your character walks slower because of this. Walk slowly up to it and try to swing while keeping a safe distance, the palm tree bugs fly away if you get too close.

Hi You just DM the person you’re interested in trading with. If their DMs are closed, you can ping them in #general or #acnh-chat⛱️ to let them know you’d like to adopt that free villager. Make sure you have an open plot first before attempting to adopt a villager since it can potentially take several IRL hours to get an empty plot and some people can’t wait that long. The person will give you a dodo code to their island and you’ll talk to the villager to get them to move to your island. That’s it!

There’s not much you can do, there’s nothing like fish bait for the fish you can use for bugs. They’re random, and the palm tree beetles such as the golden stag are rare to come across.

You can try your luck on mystery islands since those always have plenty of palm trees!

You should be able to get it by holding it as far as I can remember. The safest "test" for this is the golden slingshot. If this works then you're good, it's possible to have dupes of that recipe so you wouldn't get stuck

you need to have unlocked KK first, and then have found Brewtserr, so if you haven't yet reach 3 stars, then go see blathers after you've given one of each critters + art to to museum. you'll have a quest to find Brewster. Then they will spawn, and some can also randomly wash off on the beach

Time travel does not impact progress, if you go far the worst it can be is other players have cockroaches in their home, bedhair, and villager will ask where they've been but that's it. Though be mindful I'd they have turnips

• Upgrade your tent to a house.
• Complete the DIY workshop with Tom Nook.

Tom Nook will then phone in to introduce you to Lottie to start the beginning sequences of the DLC. You may need to wait for a new day to roll over to get this cutscene.

getting items: if you like gambling you could time travel to refresh Nook's Cranny (and the Special Goods thing) and maybe get what you need from there, or you could use the server's (or some other site's) trading channels. if you don't want to do all that there are plenty of treasure islands (hacked islands with free stuff) online!

you need to talk to them a lot and play the game, they will randomly choose a villager

haven't seen that many of them myself, but what has helped me with finding rarer palm tree bugs is repeatedly entering and exiting the airport or some other building to respawn everything

also apparently there can only be a total of 6 bug spawns at any one time on the island. Maybe putting some of your other trees into your pockets temporarily may help swing the spawns towards palm tree bugs? I know that's a huge pain tho

After the shop is built, you will get a mission from nook to build three housing plots, that's when he will give you a DIY to make a log bridge. The bridge will be built the next day

If you mean additional bridges, Tom nook will offer these when asked about infrastructure once Resident services has been built, this is after your first three plots have all moved in

The HHP catalog pulls from your own catalog. So it would only be there if you've had it before.

I’m pretty sure you only unlock items for your catalog in HHP once you have decorated a house that has that item available. So for your spotlight you’d need to design a getaway package for a villager that would have that aesthetic.

The colour of flowers is actually like the colour system, for example I mix red with yellow and I get orange. So if you were to plant red flowers near yellow flowers you'd have orange ones! Please correct me if Im wrong and I hope this helps :)

FAQ:
• Can you build bridges between cliffs? No, only over a body of water.
• How do I increase the bridges/inclines cap? You have to redeem the Pro Construction License, as the Resident Representative, from the Nook Stop machine. It becomes available once you have built 8 bridges or 8 inclines.
• How come I can't place the incline? You need to be at the base of the cliff (lower tier).
• Why can't I build a bridge here? Your river needs to be 3-5 blocks wide & both sides need to be even.
• Dimensions of a bridge/incline? Bridges are 4 tiles wide, inclines are 2 tiles wide
• I didn't donate for the bridge/incline yet and had no visitors, but Lloid said there's been a small donation? Villagers can donate bells towards the cost; donation is equal to friendship points. It is better to pay it off, as villagers only donate a small amount, and can't donate the last bell.

Have 8 villagers and the last one that moved in (about 3 days or so ago) just asked me about moving.
I supported their decision since I didn't really like her from the moment she moved in.
Not that she's "terrible", she just doesn't fit in to what I am working towards.

I only have the 8 lots built and the campsite (haven't built the other 2 lots yet).
Just got my KK concert this morning, so I believe I unlock Kapp'n tomorrow.

I know I can post her in the Villager Hunt section tomorrow, but is there any way to influence her replacement and can I do it today, hoping they hit the campsite tomorrow, or do I need to wait until tomorrow.

Most of my searches have just resulted in "how" to get them to move out, or using an Amiibo, but not the timing aspect.

Villagers can't appear on mystery islands until the plot is actually empty, they can't be in boxes still! So Saturday will be your day you can look on NMT islands.

I'd also recommend turning notifs on for the villager hunting channels on Saturday!

Flick will be randomly on your island once a week at maximum, but at minimum he's guaranteed to visit at least once every two weeks. Some people decide to save bugs since he pays 1.5x what cranny does, but I only tend to save 3 of what I want a model of really, saving EVERYTHING can clutter your storage or island quite quickly so it depends whether you feel that's worth it!

On the day that your villager is in boxes, someone with an open plot can "claim" them by coming to your island and inviting them back to theirs. The villager moving out must be in boxes and the person adopting them must have an empty plot available. It does require NSO, when you are transferring the villager you would just invite that person to your island with a Dodo Code for them to pick up the villager

first of all, start getting more villagers!! if you only have 6 youre locked at 1 to 2 stars, you need at least 8. ideally 10 for the dev point bonus
the star rating has 2 categories, development and scenery. for development, get 10 villagers as mentioned above, build a bridge and incline or two and decorate! ideally with something large and expensive, like the robot hero, but honestly whatever you have works lol
as for scenery, the easiest way to increase this is with flowers and trees! don't have too many trees tho (220+, combined with bamboos and bushes) cause youll get a penalty for that
