I think u need the museum upgraded from tent to the building, and then u need a clear night. It took like two weeks for her to visit since my museum first opened and ive tried to research that topic but no avail. I think its just completely random given the two requirements mentioned above

there is no in-game way to track what you have besides manually digging through your storage btw . there are roughly 18k+ items total in the game (including DIY recipes and non-furniture items), so youd need three or four residents to store one copy of everything

you're only able to find your native fruit, your sister fruit, and coconuts on NMT islands . you have to trade with other players to get any other fruits. i believe its the same with flowers (only your native flower and your sister flower will show up on most (i think not all) NMT islands)
no clue why turnip pricing isnt changing though

i would restart your switch and set the time back to the current day, then try again . though iirc a lot of NMT islands can just have your native flower and fruit

sanrio items for acnh are items from the sanrio amiibo series !

theses are the cards! each card features a character from sanrio imagined as a villager, along with special items for each one. sanrio villagers cannot be traded between players, as theyre only available through these cards

though for flowers, bear in mind, the point are linked to the flower stage so if non of the flowers on the beach are blooming you get less points

I planted a tree a few days ago in an attempt to only grow it to the third phase but it kept on growing after I planted the second tree behind it

I checked the sapling and it’s directly behind it but I found out it was a cedar sapling

Is that maybe why I kept growing?

I have a weird question that involves some history.

1. My family had a switch and I bought via download animal crossing
2. My teenager wanted to get a complete set of all pokemon so he took his summer job money and bought a 2nd switch, gave it to "the family" and kept the original switch to exclusively work on his pokemon collection.
3. My dad got a switch free from work and gave it to me (he works at an amazon warehouse, it was a return). This is what I am currently playing on, and I have skinned it to be pink because I am the only girl in the house so it's mine.

Only one of these devices at a time can play ACNH because we have one copy of the game we are all sharing.

If I buy a ACNH card/cartridge/whatever they are called from amazon or ebay, can I have the game playing on 2 switches at the same time?

(I am considering starting my island over and using the other switch to migrate my villagers and a bunch of items/flowers/etc.)

but for example, if you have a 2nd character on your main island currently, and use that to transfer items etc with that one logged in then you could do it that way

as thats your characters data if that makes sense?

the only way youll be able to do this is either having your new restarted island on a new nintendo account and start there
or have the 2nd character made (on a new nintendo account that you may not care about) and use that to transfer and have your main nintendo account logged into your new restarted island switch

Honestly it sounds like it might be easier to just get better at terraforming, which is what I hate about my current island, than to do this.

I know you can get DIY recipes from residents crafting in their houses 3x a day. Are there any requirements or restrictions on whether or not they offer you the recipe? We have 2 people sharing an island and sometimes we can both get the recipe offered to us and other times the 2nd person doesn't get offered the DIY and sometimes they do. The resident will still be busy crafting but when you talk to them you get the response bubble without any options to reply.

resident will craft up to 3 recipes a day total, and can craft for about 3hours. You can't force them to craft but if you wait a bit maybe they are not enough awake for them to start crafting.
Do you happen to have an event today ? though most events shouldn't prevent crafting...

No I don’t have any event on my island happening. Usually I go to all my villagers home 1-3 hours to see what they are up to but I notice they are mostly outside and if they are inside their home they are just chillen

You'll have to wait until another villager asks to leave and then tell them "no" in order for that villager to be able to ask again.

Also, giving them trash won't really affect them wanting to ask to move!

It’s your island, your friends can only visit your island if you open your gates for them, so no they can’t come if you’re offline. You can grant players that are best friends permission to dig on your island, but visitors can’t do much otherwise like terraform, etc.

Your best bet would be contacting Nintendo since they can possibly help recover lost data. They can usually help if your console was lost or stolen. If they’re the ones who weren’t able to recover your data, then there’s not much else you can do at that point.

the switch consoles name can be changed by going to settings, scrolling all the way down to system, and changing the "console nickname."
your nintendo profile username can be changed by clicking on your profile icon on the homescreen of your switch, scrolling down to "user settings," and changing the "nickname" option.

resident names and island names cannot be changed, however.

If you go to your storage in edit mode, you can select the accent wallpaper and set it to be the main wallpaper - that should remove the accent wall and make all the walls have the same wallpaper. Then, you can select again the wallpaper you want to be on all of the walls. ^^
I cannot remember if there is a simpler way to do this, but this should at the very least work

its not really worth it to try and make a tarantula island now, if the strat does work (from what i understand, it really doesnt work at all anymore) — it was only used before because youd be catching and selling a lot of tarantulas, making all of the effort worth it . it wasnt ever really a strat for just catching a tarantula for the museum

its actually nothing to do with personality, thats how the campsite works — its entirely random and getting the same villager multiple times is just pure chance . NMT islands just randomly pick a species and then randomly pick a villager from that list; there isnt an equal amount of each species, so its indirectly weighted, though all species (and all villagers of each species) have an equal chance to show up

these are actually definitely early autumn weeds, id say very late august or early september (<— for northern hemisphere . i am not sure about southern hemisphere, just try the very beginning of autumn)

the grass stays green well into autumn, so you cannot decide weeds that way (if you were going to, that green is autumn muted green anyways) so you go by shape — thats autumn weed shape, which i assume is what you noticed as well .

isabelle gives you actualized feedback each time you talk to her, she indicate what you are lacking the most to reach the threshold for the 3 stars. If she advises nature / greenery / flowers and you have many, be sure the greenery you planted is fully matured, as they are worth a lot more point. if you don't have enough development point (making a view, improve the scenery of the island) ou can place, DIYS, items and also increase the population if you don't have at least 8 villagers. there is no secret recipe, just a small threshold of point, and there are many ways to reach that amount

Different flower colors attract certain insects--like white flowers for the orchid mantis or black/blue/purple flowers for peacock butterflies. But you should be eventually able to spawn all insects with only roses!

Hey so if I’m doing the move-out method, can I go back to my current date and they’ll still want to leave? Like if I start now on feb 21, find out somebody wants to leave March 27th and I agree, I can come back to feb 21 and will they still be moving out, or will they be gone already?

if you agree and save, the actual day they are moving out should be the next Isabelle announcement, for example if you are accepting one feb 21 and the next day you log on is march 1st, the villager moves out march 1st. There used it be a glitch about this so it is advised to go forwards until you adopted the villager you need, but technically the villager shouldn't have moved out until Isabelle announced it, so you should be ok doing this.

A new week actually starts every Sunday, so if you loaded up the game and it was past the 23rd then that week you had her visiting reset unfortunately. You can try to time travel through this new week to see if you get her again, otherwise you can try and farm her by resetting this week until you have her again. I hope that helps!

Nooks miles tickets take you to mystery islands where you can find villagers.
You can also adopt Villagers who are 'in boxes' meaning getting ready to move out from other people's islands.

If plots are left empty, they do auto fill.
If you have a camper in your campsite, you can ask them to move in.

If you don't find villagers on mystery islands, it means your plots have already autofilled.

if you have plots open, they can move in automatically, but if you want to choose, you can try using nook miles tickets, while having a plot open, you'll see villagers there and you can invite them if you like them (not you can adopt like this only once a day, if you still have a plot open the following day you can try again to adopt a different villager) you can also adopt from other players if you have the campsite villager fully moved in, this requires an online subscription and the villager to be moving out "in boxes"

what are you afraid of loosing ? your recipes and catalogue I image ? if you want to start decorating from scratch you can "flatten" your island, removing all items and vegetation, removeing water and cliffs, and start from scratch, it is tedious though

I have an empty plot right now. One of the villagers i want , I have an amiibo for. But I have not used that villager amiibo, so I have not fulfilled any requests yet for it. So I wouldnt be able to use the amiibo to fill the empty plot right?
Would time traveling back 3 days work or will the villager that left be back?

The plot can autofill when going forward the 3 days you need to scan and fulfill the crafting request but if you have a full ten villagers the amiibo villager gives you the choice who to move out

They can move in if you place a plot but if you have a camper you need to invite them for them to come live on the island they won't move on their own you are free to hunt. Do note there is a bug and it's not recommended to hunt if you invited a camper to move in the same day, if you do be sure to check that the plot was claimed properly

personally, i find that to be the easiest way . learning what order the patterns place makes it easier to place several at once, i made a guide below (this is with your character facing TOWARDS the camera)

after getting three stars and unlocking terraforming, you can unlock a custom pathing tool, but it places one a time and plays an animation for every design, so its actually slower ime

So, there's two kinds of variants, ones that are changed using customization kits and ones that aren't (and ||Cyrus|| is required).

The former kind sometimes allows custom designs and Sable's patterns, and these variants cannot be catalogued. When the item shows up in a shop, it will always have the default variant of this type!

The latter kind is the one that will show up in your catalogue, and when the item shoes up in a shop, it can have (in nearly all cases) any of these variants by default, depending on certain factors.

In drapery's case, it has eight variants (plus a custom design and pattern option) of the former kind and one of the latter kind, so only the red one will show up in your catalogue. Hope that answers your question ^^

Yes, that messes with the achievement because it adds a (often large) negative number to the number of profit you've earned, so you have to work your way out of the negatives before you can get the stamps. Glad that cleared it up

Flowers will not breed or advance growth stages on the beach, so it's unfortunately not possible.
(A small note, if it were to be relevant, is that despite this, the sand path from the Island Designer app does allow flowers to grow on it. Only beaches restrict their growth! Unfortunately does not help with the lack of space though)

There's a few things you can do with amiibo!

• As mentioned above, you can call them to visit Brewster's cafe.

• You can invite them to your campsite via the NookStop in Resident Services, which will allow you to invite them to live on your island if you invite them 3 times

• You can scan them on Harv's island to take photos of them with Photopia

• If you have the Happy Home Paradise DLC, you can invite them to HHP and make a vacation home!
