Unfortunately no, you can use the ABD furniture item on someone else's island to access your bell balance, but there is no way to access your storage remotely; if you try to use a storage shed, you just get a small text box, similarly to when you open a wardrobe on another island

The only issue caused by time traveling is turnips will spoil if you go backwards. Otherwise nothing is really affected negatively

I'm working on getting all the deep sea creatures for January, and I'm wondering if the mechanics are the same as bugs and fish where you have to scare away other creatures for new ones to spawn? Do I just keep swimming around my island until I see the creature's shadow and speed I'm looking for?

I'm not 100% certain because I don't remember if there is researched info on this, but at least from experience just making laps around the island will give you always new sea creatures, I would imagine they only spawn around you and despawn when you move away but that is just an educated guess.
And yes, the rare ones can be very elusive you can do it though!! Good luck

Sorry, can you elaborate on what you mean? There are no shoes with special mechanics in ACNH, the only clothing item that can make you trip and fall over when running is the King Tut mask. And you can also trip regardless of worn clothing items if you have the "Health (Bad)" fortune active

You're probably doing nothing wrong, unfortunately it's just really luck based. The game mechanic was not designed with people manually evicting villagers in mind. This below is essentially the best method you can use, but in the end it's just up to luck; the method isn't doing any tricks to the game, it just speeds up the normal process by eliminating cooldowns and removing wait times via time travel, and that's really all you can do to make it easier, unfortunately. Hope you get them out soon 🍀

I was playing on a family switch which my son basically took over. i got a switch of my own for christmas but i have all this cool stuff on my old island/old switch.

1. can i use the middleman service here to transfer stuff from my old switch island to my new switch island? Is there some other way to do this?
2. is there anyway to move some of the hybridized flowers? THEY ARE SO PRETTY and I am mad I do not have them

Hi!
If you have two copies of the game, you can just use local play and directly visit your other island to transfer items over. ^^
But if no, then yes, you can use the middleman service for this kind of item transfer. It is not listed in #request-a-middleman🛎️🙋‍♀️, but in #middleman-rules‼️ there is a message (message link: #middleman-rules‼️ message ) about exactly this kind of transfers. So just type in "Item Transfer" and the number of items when requesting a middleman

And yes, game-mechanics wise hybrid flowers can be transferred; shovel them into your pockets, and then plant them onto the island in-between. Then, when coming to pick them up, you can dig them back up and then plant onto your new island.
Note though that in order to use a shovel on someone else's island, and therefore to complete the second step of the transfer, the middleman has to have added you as a best friend in the Best Friends NookPhone app. (Or alternatively, the middleman could also shovel them up and bring them to your new island and plant them there, this way best friends is not required, but requires the middleman to make a trip.)
Because of this, I'm not sure if middlemen can help with flower transfers, as they are not touched on in the rules I would DM @lapis terrace about this and ask if transferring flowers is allowed, just to be sure! They can answer the best to rule related questions

The villager ? Like any other villager, get lucky in your campsite or nmt islands, if you have NSO you can try to adopt him from someone or if you have the amiibo, invite him from scanning the cards and complete his quest 3 times

You need 270 nature points for 3 stars
This comes from fully grown bushes and trees for one point each up to 190 point cap. Then a fullly bloomed flower is also worth 1 point.
Your diy furniture also contributes to this with around 0.25 point per item.
So if you have a lot of flowers but they are not bloomed you can try to wait a bit to see if the rating changes

It's on a seasonal bases if it's not shark or sunfish season they won't spawn i recommend installing an amazing animal crossing new horizon guild it's really helpful ^_^.

It also helps to dig up manilla class from the beach they are little black dots that spray water and thus turn them into fishbait that can then be tossed into the ocean and has a small chance of spawning a rare fish :3

Okey, weird, in that case, my only guess is the bridge, but I'm honestly not 100% sure. Inclines block rock spawns four tiles behind them, maybe bridges do too? Even then though, it looks as if there should be four empty tiles between the bridge and the rock spot, but diagonal bridge hitboxes are a bit funky so maybe it reaches out further than it seems ?

That's the only thing I can think of, if weeds would have appeared there, then that would have been it and the solution would've been to place weeds elsewhere until the spawn cap is reached, but I'm a bit stumped

Oh, and one more thing, you are sure the rock is not hiding somewhere else on your island? Have you tried opening another spot, and seeing if it will spawn there, just for the sake of testing?

i think ‘outdoor items’ give more points than indoor items but i also know that fences help a LOT. i literally wrap every building/cliff in fencing and i put flowers everywhere i can. you do get points for being ‘cluttered’ though so try to space everything out

There are some quirks with backwards time travel, going forwards is the exact same as if you just waited the same amount of time without opening the game, but with going backwards, there are small unordinary things that will happen. First of all, the day you go back to won't count as a new day, so shops etc. will not reset until the next time the day changes forwards, so don't get confused by that. And there's one pretty crucial detail; all turnips you have on your island will spoil instantly if you time travel any amount of time backwards. There's a couple other very minor things also, but they are not really relevant in normal gameplay (though I can tell more if you wish). So just keep those two things in mind, and you'll be good

1. Make sure both parties have the Best Friends app downloaded on their Nookphone (to obtain it, talk to Orville and choose one of the "friend"-options for the first time, e.g. open my island for friends only)
2. Have the player who is coming to pick up the flowers visit the island from which flowers are being picked up
3. Add each other as Switch friends, if not already (now that you are on the same island, a very easy way to do this is through the Recently played with -list! Go to your Switch profile, Friends tab, and it should be there)
4. Add each other as best friends through the NookPhone app; you should show up there now that you have played together and are Switch friends!
5. Once best friends, the visitor can use their shovel to dig up your flowers.
   

Or if you just wanted to pick up the inflorescence from the flower, then what Speedy said does the trick

I personally save and quit, the save loading feels faster to me than the opening of the game loading, but I have not ever timed it It probably does not matter too much in the end, I'd imagine the difference is very small. Probably also depends on what your island is like and your Switch's hardware. I wish I could give you a precise answer. But since you'll be time travelling a lot now anyways, you could take a stopwatch app onto the side and time it, to get an answer that is for sure accurate, if you wanted!

you need to work to get shino into boxes, and your wife needs to work on getting a villager to leave the island so theres an empty plot, and this needs to happen at the same time. then your wife can visit your island and ask shino to move into her empty plot

yes so if Shino asks to move out say yes and save your game. Shino will be moving the next day you connect, after Isabelle's speech, and she can be adopted that day. time traveling is moving the clock on your switch, so if she is moving out you can move your clock to stay withing that animal crossing day (5am until 5 am) until your wife can adopt her.
if you wife has 6 villagers, and the camper is properly move in, she can buy a plot of land from tom nook to place it and adopt. as long as she has less than 10 villagers she can easily keep one to adopt.
Bear in mind this plots can fill the next day if they are not claimed.
Ideally what you have to do now, you wait until shino asks to move out (be sure to have talked to her so she can do so) and once she is moving "in boxes" telll your wife to buy a plot and place it, and after she placed it she can come adopt

No matter how far or short backwards you go. Even if it's 10:00am and you set your time to 9:59am, all your unsold turnips will SPOIL

So if you go forward, that's fine, but if you want to go backwards after that to set your clock back to normal... make sure you do that when you don't have any turnips left

It will have to be blooming, yes, but when the day changes, flowers grow before they breed, so if the flower is in the second-to-last stage, where colour is showing from the bud (see image for reference), you can water it and it will have a chance to breed overnight. But plucking a flower puts it in its third-to-last stage, so you will have to wait a day until it can breed again. ^^

(For additional context, if you run through flowers, that will put them in the second-to-last stage)

Yes they will always have a chance to breed when blooming, as long as they have been watered (indicated by small sparkles on the flower)
But note that with only you (or the rain) watering the flowers, the chance is only 5% per pair of flowers (or single flower, when cloning), so you might just get unlucky and they won't breed because of that

The villager should give the DIY to you if you do not have it, are you sure it is not in your app? Have you tried sorting alphabetically? Birdcage should be in the Housewares tab

i would look at the other things the expansion pack gives you and see if that's worth it to you but i think the move is to but the hhp dlc separate to nso because you can still use it without having nso

and only buy family plan if you have other users on your switch that also need nso

I need some like advice of some sorts. I'm planting flowers around my fruit trees behind and stuff..I have these dirt paths but want those paths clear. not sure how to stop the flowers from spreading not sure if I should do bushes or fences but I'm doing color coordinations and don't like how bushes don't have many colors blooming in seasons.

you could make a custom design using the ‘blank colour’ all over the design so it blocks flowers yet doesnt show up on the ground and just looks like nothing is there

It will not! Digging an empty hole will not either. Shovel durability is only used up when digging up a buried item or a plant, or hitting a rock with the shovel (while items are coming out, after that not anymore IIRC). But, I cannot remember if burying an item will use durability, so unsure about that, apologies

They are all available in balloons during the cherry blossom season (April 1st - 10th in northern hemisphere), and Isabelle also will give you the Outdoor picnic set DIY when you log in during the event period, if you do not have it already

No, the campsite villagers are only for the person who lives on the island. And Sanrio characters I believe cannot be taken either (but that I'm not 100% sure of)

If I don't have Kappn unlocked yet , can I still plant gyroid fragments if someone gives them to me? And will I still get random gyroids in dig spots and gyroid fragments on my beach? Or does that stuff only unlock once Kappn does?

Yes, sanrio villagers cannot be obtained without scanning the amiibos on your console

For the first question: yes you can
For the second question: both these things start happening after you have grown a gyroid from fragments the first time. So normally that's when you find Brewster on a Kapp'n island and he gives you fragments, but if another player gives you fragments to plant before that, you'll unlock that early.

It's a little complicated, but the best answer I can give is it's guaranteed to NOT autofill the day after a villager leaves

Any day after that there's at least a chance it will autofill

I've not tried these specific layouts, but I've done a lot of flower breeding!

It depends on what kind of efficiency you're looking for. These layouts are meant to be space efficient (i.e. lets you breed all hybrids with the minimum number of tiles) and just judging by the sizes of those layouts, the one on the right is more space efficient.

The drawback to these layouts is that you have very little control over which flower breeds with which flower because they are all adjacent to each other. I suspect that you will find that many days you will just be digging up flowers of the wrong colour. So if your purpose is to get the hybrid colours quickly, you'd find it easier to allocate more space on your island to breeding + use other guides such as https://chibisnorlax.github.io/acnhfaq/island-life/gardening/breeding/ + https://yuexr.github.io/acnh/garden.html#gardening101

With all that said, there isn't really a right or wrong way to play acnh so you can go with whatever method you like. Just depends on what your priorities are ☺️

Pinks are less involved, usually you can get them by 1 step of breeding from seeds so I'm sure it'll just be a matter of time for you 😄

The ordinance increases the chances of reproduction yes. The best way is still to get visitors to water your plants but that does take effort haha

I don't think there's a way to link your account but there are bots where you can record a video of yourself scrolling through your catalogue and then it auto detects everything you had. So if you don't have an up to date list you could do that - but it doesn't get updated by itself 😦 I still use an app to manually keep track.

Haha np ❤️ There are a bunch of island planning websites online you could try. Personally I've found that I work best by making pen and paper sketches of what I want things to look like. It's easy to get overwhelmed with terraforming so definitely take it one step at a time 😄
