I can't recall what the requirements for veggie basket is, but hedge's is that you are the first player to buy from him on three of his visits (and he should hand the DIY to you on the spot, at least if you have an empty spot in your inventory)

You can buy a brand new housing plot, for a new villager to move onto your island (10 is the maximum number of villagers you can have, on top of you and possible other players) ^^ just keep in mind that once you place the plot down, it is guaranteed to stay empty only for that same day. After which, there is a high likelihood the plot autofills and a random villager will move in

You need the DLC in order to obtain partition walls, but yes, you can divide a room into two with them, e.g. as demonstrated below. ^^
And yes, those are all the rooms you can get in your home, there is no more than 6 total.

I don’t know if it’s lucky- those are kinda rare, but they have a fin so you know to try and catch it. Other things like the barrel eye or celocanth you have to catch everything the right size to find. Great catches though

You can confirm is she's there or not by doing group stretching after 7pm; if she is, she'll join it. it takes time for it to upgrade, if you progress through the game buildings are gonna change, it might have been because of the bridge, I will be honest I don't remember the exact cause, but the shop will change the more you use it, and the same goes for the museum

No, they won’t ask to replace anyone. They can only do that if you have 10 villagers (including amiibo villagers). You would need to get an empty plot if you want a campsite villager if you don’t have 10 villagers. If you try and ask them to move in they’ll just tell you that there’s no open space otherwise

If it's connected to a waterfall or the sea, it's a river. If it's a shape that is significantly thin and long, it's also a river. Otherwise, it's a pond. (no hard values could be datamined)
Any river is also a clifftop river if it's not at ground level.
You can test whether a body of water is a river or pond by checking whether your fishing rod's bobber moves in a current or stays still

You'll dig the tile whose centerpoint is the closest to the direction you are facing. Unfortunately there's no hit marker or anything similar to one that you could enable, to make it easier to see which tile you are aiming on. 😦 Something I find helpful, is quickly flicking the stick to the direction in which I want to dig, and then press A after that. It can help correct your trajectory a little 🙂 wishing you luck

You need the Nintendo Switch Online app on your IRL phone; it has a feature using which you can scan a New Leaf QR code. Once scanned, there's a button in your custom designs app (it's plus I think), that lets you then add the most recently scanned design into your custom designs. Note that to do this, you need to have linked the Switch Online app to your game first, which you can do after logging into the app, and pressing minus on the game's title screen, where you can select NookLink settings to connect ^^

Okay try my method.
Make sure you have 6 or more villagers before you do this. Latest villager who moved in will not ask to leave

1. talk to everyone you want to kick out
2. save and end and tt 15 days ahead and set the time at 12:30pm avoiding weekends if you unlocked kk
3. check for a bubble
4. If there's no bubble close the game and tt a day forward
5. If there is a bubble, but it's not on who you want to kick out close the game, and tt to the next day skipping weekends. Rinse and repeat until the bubble lands on your target

People looking for specific villagers usually want them to have their houses in the default state.

If you do things like gift your villagers things or give them gifts from other villagers, they might display them in their homes- like they will put away matching furniture and just put in random stuff.

If you let that villager move away and give them to someone else, they will keep all their gifts- meaning the person who gets them could end up with someone like Julian who usually has a house full of horoscope decor filled with fish bugs and shirts that they don’t want.

So people ask for ungifted ones to make sure they get the proper furniture

Time traveling does not reverse / rewind progress. You still keep all the progress, items, etc. that you've completed / acquired even if you time travel backwards.

Do your nook miles tasks. You’re gonna need a lot of nook miles. Chop your trees for wood. Use flimsy axe. Do not eat any fruit before you hit your rocks, so you can’t break them and keep hitting them 8 times to get all 8 drops. Your rock will respawn the next day 1 rock per day if you break them all.

They can also have displayed items in their house and wear clothes given to them by their previous owner but this can be easily removed now. Read .t isabelle. Ungifted villagers tend to be higher value, completely default villagers—they wear only default outfits and have an untouched house, as if they were found from an NMT island or campsite

If it doesn't fix it, another potential solution I can think of is uninstalling and reinstalling the game (your save data is safe, don't worry, just make sure to pick to uninstall and not to delete save data); this will replace files that could have somehow gotten damaged or corrupted which could potentially make the game freeze

Things like online subscriptions and the DLC are linked to your Nintendo account. They automatically work on all the consoles on which you use the same Nintendo account on. ^^ There are some limitations; if I remember correctly, on your primary console (set in the eShop settings; it's by default the first Switch you got) all profiles can use the DLC, regardless of who bought it, but on secondary consoles only the profile linked to the Nintendo Account that made the purchase can access it. But you yourself should be able to access it regardless. And the same online membership should work on all your consoles with no problems or restrictions

I'm not exactly sure what you mean with what you talk about your island save, feel free to clear it up if something is still unclear. But for reference, your island save works differently from most games' save data, you'll need to download a special app from the eShop, Island Transfer Tool, on both Switches if you wanna transfer it too

Yea no worries! Yes just log on the same Nintendo Account on the new Switch and everything should work. You might need to redownload the DLC if it doesn't work from the get-go (redownloads section in the eShop). I have a Switch and a Switch Lite, and I can play online and the DLC on both

You should be able to leave it and go afk but I’d maybe pop in every once in a while to make sure people are leaving the queue correctly

Leaving quietly also means they disconnected due to a connection error and everyone on the island at the time reverts to the last auto save

Leif will sell a random vegetable start every time he visits. You can buy those and them plant them or just plant vegetables straight into the ground, if you have some. They don't have a seedbag item, just starts and the vegetables themselves!

Oh, and you can also find vegetables growing on certain Kapp'n islands

Not really, except for trading with other players. Though it's also possible to create a so-called balloon farm by lining your eastern or western beach with "tall items" (most commonly used are jail bars and climbing walls) over which balloons cannot fly, so they will be funnelled to the south end of the beach where you can easily pop them. This can be especially useful when trying to collect a full set of seasonal DIYs ^^
