Yep! With an amiibo, you get to pick which villager to kick (assuming you have a full island of 10 villagers)

You have to scan the amiibo and give her a gift on 3 separate days. After the third gift, when you speak with her she will offer to move in and check with resident services. Then she’ll come back and say something about it being full but asks if anyone might want to move. And then you select who you want to leave.

It looks like you need another tile to the left on the side you are standing on. It’s hard to tell from this angle if the river width is okay, but I would start with that corner that Hozuki mentioned.

(If it still gives an issue it may be that the river itself is also too wide.)

I'm trying my best to get a lot of houses and get the villagers I want (Raymond will come tomorrow and Marina will come after tomorrow), so this prevents them from moving in or nah?

Your first campsite visitor is mandatory. You can’t choose who appears and you have to invite that first one to live on your island as villager #6. But any camp visitors after that point are completely optional. They’ll appear at random, but you can just ignore them if you don’t want those ones

Once you have at least 6 living on the island, they can start to ask about moving out yes. They will ask on their own naturally, but it is pretty random. They'll never moved out unless you agree to it though. And as for kicking them out, there is a pretty effective method! You can follow the guide below, if you are okay with time travel. And if you don't want to time travel, the mechanics would still be the same, you just wait that number of days irl as opposed to the time skipping

I have 9 villagers installed and one free parcel, with an amiibo villager in my camping. Today's the third day I invite him, so if I ask him to join my island he'll instantly join right? The thing is I want to hunt villagers on Nook Miles islands right now, but what happens to the camper once the 10th parcel is taken

If you don't have 10 villagers atm, then the camper will only agree to move in once you place that 10th plot. And the camper would then fill that plot. Which means you couldn't hunt for a villager, because the plot would be sold already.

If you are wanting the amiibo villager to replace one of your existing 9, the best option would be to place your 10th plot and hunt for a villager that you want to invite for that spot. I'm not sure if the amiibo will kick someone that same day, but you can just wait and scan it tomorrow and they'll agree right away since you have already done the 3 days ^^

How to get 3 stars
• Make sure you have at least 8 villagers. Max is 10 villagers. More villagers more points
• Put out lots of different furniture.
• Put out a lot of flowers. Put out way more than you think you need.
• Try to build the shops (upgraded nook’s gives extra points) bridges and inclines where you can, it'll help a lot with development points.
•** LISTEN TO ISABELLE! **If she talks about development or scenery, you need more development points (furniture, diy items, infrastructure, etc.) If she talks about the island's natural environment, you need more nature points (flowers, trees, shrubs, etc.). If she mentions clutter, you have to pick up all the dropped items on the ground.

hi yeah so I have some advanced bug and fish questions, firstly, do the 3 rare stags (hercules beetle, golden stag, girrafe stag) spawn in the rain? yesterday I caught like 5 of each while minding my business but I skipped to a rainy day to get rid of for example the emperor butterfly and I didn't catch any of the stags for an hour. Time traveling back/forward in time (or syncing back to the current date) does not reverse/rewind any progress. Your house will be upgraded when you time travel to the next day and will stay upgraded when you sync back to current time

If you have NSO and the NSO app on your irl phone, and you have not done any time travel, you should be able to check that to see prices for earlier in the week if you missed them ^^

It’s possible to have a bad week. Basically, you will have a set pattern for the week. By using the tracker, you can start to predict which pattern it will be so that you know when to sell. And knowing last week’s pattern will also help you with the current week because it changes your chances. And the chart shows the prediction for the upcoming week based on your current pattern

So for example: if you have the decreasing pattern this week, you know that next week you will have a pretty good chance of having a big spike (or at least a spike of some kind)

Unfortunately not. The best you could do is move a building over the spot if it’s a patch of that size, but that still takes a day to move the building and then another to move it back. (On top of having to pay for each move, of course). You will have to dig them up, but you can speed it up a bit if you place a trash can nearby and just dump them when your pocket is full. Or you can ask for help with it in #player-services if you have NSO

They are the ones that were growing naturally on your island at the start of the game. You could look back at screenshots from your first days, if you have any from that time.

If you don’t have any then it gets a bit complicated but you can definitely narrow it down. The cabinet in Nooks Cranny will sell 3 kinds of flowers — one kind will rotate, but the other two will always be your native flower and sister flower.

One song is special locked like kk birthday (you can only get on your birthday) or welcome horizons (first time when kk plays on your island), but also waiting until every Saturday for him to perform is a lot of waiting time, not everyone wants to wait that long for a specific song they’re looking for or play on a Saturday. There’s songs sometimes in the daily selection in nook stop but there’s 3 that you can only get from kk himself directly

You can use the amiibo to bring her back, but amiibos require 3 days of scanning and gifting so the plot where she was would likely autofill before those 3 days. As long as you have 10 villagers, this doesn’t matter though, because you can just pick that one as the one to kick on the third amiibo day

If your mom's character was the island rep, then she can always just remove your player if she wants. However, if your player was the island rep, then she would have to keep your player on the island in order to keep the original island

The grass and trees will naturally change color throughout the year. The only way to “change” the colors would be to change the date in your Switch settings

Rain for the most part does not impact core gameplay. Most notably their effect on the island is watering every single planted flower/crop. Otherwise it's mostly cosmetic.

Weather is determined by a weather seed (a number determined and assigned on island creation), and with this is how your island generates its unique weather occurances.

The shovel is slighly faster, and also allows you to easily setup a corner by digging two holes so that you don't bounce back as much from every hit, allowing you to hit faster since you don't reposition yourself, and get the maximum amount of drops from the rock

hii, so me and my brother share a switch, and we bought acnh yesterday. i created my island, and when he wanted to play, he told me that it didnt give him an option to choose an island name which was really weird to me. i then looked on the map, and saw that he was on my island, which is weird to me. im not sure if this is normal, and if its possible for him to create his own island despite being on the same switch system

In order for him to have his own island, you'd have to get him his own switch

Otherwise he's an extra player on your island, in which you are the island rep (if you started the game first)

Can I use my second profile as design storage?

Like I wanna have different year round biomes for my villagers- Flo is in the snow, Audie I will need a custom grass to keep her in tropics all year, Beau is in my bamboo swamp.

But I love making paintings for my gallery and such and full sets of ground patterns take up space.

Can I use a second player to be my landscaper? And just save all the ground tiles to them and make them do my tiles and keep my main free for my stuff?
