Just a question, I told a villager to leave so now I have an empty plot and I’ve been island hopping but haven’t been getting any villagers I want sadly after many tries, if I leave today with an empty plot, will a random villager get the house plot the next day?

It depends; if your MIQ has a villager the plot is guaranteed to be filled the next day from when it became empty (more info on that in the pic). But if the queue is empty, there's a 20% chance for the plot to fill every time a new day begins

But like, to answer your initial question in a less technical manner (it isn't too relevant to understand in the end):

There is always at least a chance that a random villager moves in the next day from when the plot became empty. Sometimes it's guaranteed, sometimes only a 20% chance. If you want to be certain that your plot will stay empty, you can time travel backwards to stay within the same day until you find a villager you like. :)

So:
If you move that secondary resident to another console, and link them to the same Nintendo account as your main resident on the first console, they will now have access to NSO too, and can go to other online islands.

If you have only one physical copy of the game, obviously you can't play ACNH on both at the same time.
But, if you have digital copy, you can launch the game on the console that is set "secondary", which requires an internet connection as it checks whether a game is already opened by that account elsewhere at that moment, and disconnect the console that is set "primary" from the internet before launching the game on that console, which (because it is set as primary) will not require to check whether the game is already open elsewhere.

However, there are caveats: since the primary console has to be offline, you can't be online using NSO at the same time on both. And even if you try to play local multiplayer, the same Nintendo account cannot play with itself and the game will give you an error. That makes transferring items between your two islands very tedious and requiring a middleman island while you play on only one console at a time...
I'm not sure what would happen if you tried to visit your other island using a visitor switch profile that is different from the host switch profile, though... I haven't tested that. Maybe it would get blocked still because it checks the accounts of everyone on the island, or maybe it wouldn't... I'm not sure lol

Im unsure if youre still confused about this, but this exact same thing happened to me and yes, once you get your first 3 house plots from Tom Nook and follow the furniture requirements for at least one of them the invited villager will move in! You can repeat this process two more times to fill in those other 2 plots the same way, but if you dont mind who's selected randomly you can just add all the furniture and a random villager will be chosen to move into those spots instead ^u^

You might be thinking of Isabelle when you complain about your villagers, tho complaining to Isabelle does not affect chance of villager moving out. Isabelle can now remove clothes permanently instead of temporarily if you complain about what that villager is currently wearing
If you are lucky, Move out might be very fast. Otherwise, it may take several hours depending on how many villagers you are targeting to move out

You have to change your internet service. If you are using hotspot, use your home Wi-Fi. If you are at home, get different service.

I mean, using amiibo is almost instant. just need to make DIYs for them on 3 separate days (TT works), then you can force out your choice of villager to replace witht he amiibo

if your router supports port forwarding, you can open up additional ports specifically for your switch and change NAT type that way. typically that requires some know-how and the router password, though (usually different than wifi password, but most people don't change it, so its often the still the one written on the back of the router)

Maybe try creating another profile on one of the two consoles and use that one to play local multiplayer with your main account on the other console

How to MAKE BELLS, the SIMPLE Way:

1. Play the stalk market: buy turnips at a low price and sell them high.
2. Dive and catch sea creatures to sell back to Nook's Cranny.
3. Grow stuff (fruits, flowers, pumpkins, etc) and sell to Nook's Cranny.
4. If you have NSO (Nintendo Switch Online), trade with other players by visiting the trade channels in this server and seeing where to sell your services or goods!

• villagers tend to follow the island designer default paths options.
• villagers tend to follow custom design paths that are placed over island designer default path options.
• villagers tend to ignore custom design paths that are just placed on grass.
  I'm not sure which scenarios you were asking about but hopefully that answers your question

For getting furniture, trading online seems to me like an essential part of it... your options are otherwise limited to whatever furniture Nook's Cranny and miscellaneous secondary sources can get you

Morning, I am still exploring starting another island on a new switch. I had created a separate profile to add a resident for storage purposes only to my one single island on my first switch. I have HHP and a NSO sub. I can move my resident to my new switch, but to be able fly to other islands and use the HHP dlc, I have to then set up a second account? I'm still getting confuse by all this. I'm one person with 2 profiles and one game one account. I don't know what I'm not getting here. One thing that confuses me is if I set up a different account for my resident do I need to pay for another Nintendo Switch Online sub for any reason? I understand I do not have to buy another digital copy of the game itself

To answer your first question, I want to make sure if you mean a human villager or an animal villager. You cannot transfer a secondary human villager over the internet--if you restart, you'll lose the house, items, and DIY's known no matter what. You could have someone hold on to some items for you, but that's about it.

To answer your second question, you must have at least 6 villagers to have them want to move.

Not really an "easy" way, as it'll still take some time, but aside from getting the daily nook miles bonus, you can also earn quite a lot of nook miles from doing the nook miles+ tasks, especially the first few each day that have multipliers on them. Most of those tasks can be done within a few minutes, as they're really just small stuff, like selling stuff, catching a few bugs or sometimes even really simple tasks like taking a photo using the camera app.
Also, in case you got Switch Online, I came to notice that every time I come back from another person's island after trading with them I got a bonus of I think 1k nook miles when I came back. That's all the ways I know to earn nook miles fast

When planting a pumpkin start, there's 70% chance for it to grow regular orange ones, or 10% chance for it to grow in each of the white/yellow/green variant
Once grown, the plant will always produce the same color, so just plant a bunch of starts and hope for the best

You can design a house for every villager aside from the 6 sanrio ones without amiibos. All special NPCs require amiibos. And you can redesign any vacation home at any time by talking to the resident at their home :)

Ah, glad you got an answer. It is essentially a condensed version what I was saying too. The pipes are a very good solution for turnips. ^^ or other special NPC visits too, but under certain circumstances (e.g. a communication error) NPC visitors who wander around will respawn somewhere else, so that can be an extra pain if you had set up fences and pipes etc.
And for other visits, especially if they involve the visitor walking around the island freely, you can't really do anything completely preventative. But making sure there are no dropped items or accessible money trees is the main thing to worry about, since although a nuisance, picked flowers and shaken fruit trees will grow back soon enough.

And also, a lot of people in the online community are very nice and polite when visiting islands. ^^ but ofc it's good practice to account for those few bad apples. And if someone would manage to steal something, and you notice quickly, you can put your Switch to sleep to quickly interrupt the connection and make the game revert to the last autosave, giving you your items back in most cases. :)

You should get it from Tom Nook right after that first concert! And after that you can reorder it from the catalogue

I am not 100% exactly sure how it works but the storage is quite large (around 20-30 slots IIRC), and the villagers will pick any clothes to wear from it. There are some colour preferences I'm not exactly sure about their effect on what is picked and how often etc.
If you want the glasses you gifted him out of his inventory, you should wait until he is wearing them and then report his clothing to Isabelle. That will remove all gifted clothing he is wearing at the time. You could also fill his clothing storage like you suggested but that would take a while, and Raymond's default glasses also aren't an item that you can obtain, they are unique to him so it wouldn't really work

I'm not exactly sure what you meant by the last question but I think all the clothes are stored in the same inventory and gifting him lots of glasses would also remove other kinds of clothes if that's what you meant

If you’re okay with time travel I usually skip 7 days, 3, 5 until someone moves out. I tend to round up near the end of the month and start on the seventh of each month. Villagers can ask to move once every several days but it’s not a guarantee someone will ask to move. I also typically set my time for 11am-2pm bc a lot of villagers are active during that time and usually around housing and the town hall. I can get a villager out this way within about an hour and i use it for the campsite method too

Hey, wanted to post a tip, in case it helps. Don't forget that Cyrus on Harv's Island can unlock all the color options for items. I see a lot of people trying to get or catalog items in specific colors in the trading channels, and I hope everyone knows that all you really have to do is hunt down the item itself. Just for reference, there should almost always be someone crafting. And it changes twice a day so three villagers should craft every day I believe

Oh! I don’t know why I thought those requirements were for daily spawns or something. Like within that day (what is it, 5am-4:59am?) I had to have caught 100 fish altogether to get the stringfish to begin spawning for that particular day. Having one account for both switches, my husband and I are trying to play different games - me ACNH and him Metroid Dread. I have an island on each switch - having moved one of my residents to the new island on the new switch which we put Metroid on. Crops are many things in decorating your island but also used in cooking, and you can pick the veggie and fruit and place one on an object or the ground for decor (asthetics) too.

Those cooked recipes also looked fantastic place out but also if you eat them they can give you strength to dig up full size trees and boulders

I order to play simultaneously on two consoles that purchased games using the same Nintendo account, you need to launch the game on the secondary one, disconnect the primary one from the internet, and launch the other game from the primary one.

Btw, furniture "default/native" colors are decided at random for your entire save file, but it's decided separately depending on how many variants of an item there is
For example, if an item has two variants (green/blue), you might get set to always get n°2, blue, while for an item that has three variants (green/blue/pink), you might not get the matching n°2 blue item and get n°1 or 3 instead

And so on, 7 times because items may have up to 8 color variants

1. Turnips. you can look up guides for increasing your chances for good profits.
2. Save extra iron ingots and watch the sign in front of Nook's for when they are paying extra for anything crafted with iron. Quadrupals your profit per ingot.
3. Grow and sell non-native fruit. Nook's pays 500 per non-native. You can also take your native fruit to other islands where it is non-native. Coconuts are worth 200.
4. Grow and sell raw veggies. 350 each
5. When you have blue roses and recipes for wreath/crown, craft as many as you can to sell them. I grow spare flowers on the backs of cliffs. (gold flowers are same profit)
6. Spare fossils can be worth a fair amount.
7. Host events (cataloging, picking fruit, etc.) and ask for donations
