You can’t place any items inside the resident services plaza. Its name just refers to the plaza furniture series, but it has nothing to do with the RS plaza unfortunately

okay so my main idea for my island is that i want a big lake on a mountain to branch off into two rivers that head to the two ocean points, but i also got an idea to have one of the arms of the river to split and have a section of it branch off into a pond, but im curious if pond fish will appear in it

Pond fish will only spawn in bodies of water that are completely island-locked (meaning they are not connected to the ocean or a waterfall)

They also have to be on the ground level or second level. Third level water, even land-locked, will spawn river fish for some reason

Can you reverse a villager from moving out? Long story short I wanted RINA to leave and the camper suggested Raina leaves and I mistakenly accepted but Raina is one of my faves 😭😭😭 now she’s gone and I tried to reboot the game when I realized my mistake and I tried to time travel to the day prior but nothing worked…I’m devastated

Unfortunately you can’t reverse it, but you can try and have them move back instead by hunting for them again or trading. You can use mystery islands the campsite to find them, or check #villager-trade #701251557458444395 ^^

I think I found the reason of the discrepancy in Paleh's guide:

It said I had a B type when I checked my internet. Because we thought that was the issue. I restarted my game and they restarted theirs. I even connected to my phones Hotspot to see if my internet was the issue and it didn't work. I restarted my switch and everything idk what's going on

Yes, the first camper will always be a smug, he will appear the day after the camping is built.

If you don't have 10 villagers yet you need to place a plot for the camper to be able to move in.
If you already have 10 the camper will replace a random villager, that will immediately be in boxes once you've agreed.

How to move your Animal Crossing: New Horizons island to a different Nintendo Switch

I’ve got Ione prepped via Amiibo, she only needs one more visit to agree to move in.
I am under 10 villagers and have no open plots (until Cranston leaves of course).
So do I need to wait until tomorrow when Cranston’s plot is open to invite Ione for her third visit, so the plot can go to her? The infographic says with a villager in boxes an amiibo campsite villager can’t take that spot (which is what confused me). If so, I’ll just invite someone else to my campsite today so I can start working on someone else’s 3 day requirement to move to my island🙂

So I have a problem. I've been playing since 2020, got the DLC when it came out. Recently both my husband and my daughter has going into ACNH. Added them to my Nintendo Online plan. My daughter has the house next to the verison showing she got the DLC. My husband does not...But if he goes into the eshop, he can't buy it. It won't let him. Anyone know a fix for this? Each of us have our own switches and have bought individual copies of the base game.

I’m not sure whether they all spawn at once, but I have definitely found all 5 without needing to enter/exit buildings. They do move around and if you stand still long enough they will eventually drift toward you anyway. But entering/exiting a building typically respawns other critters in the area, so it’s most likely the same idea for the wisp pieces

It looks like you have both roles on your profile (there used to be a diff channel for roles, which caused some people to have two personality roles when they switched over to the current roles channel.) Try selecting and deselecting the cranky role to see if it’ll go away. If so then you can just choose the smug role after that to make your name indigo. And if not, a staff member should be able to change it manually - just DM @lapis terrace for that ^^

No worries! I asked because the process is different depending on your progress. So for villagers #3-5, you can invite them from mystery islands (the ones you visit with a nook miles ticket). Once you progress to a certain point, Tom Nook will give you the plots for them, if you haven’t received those yet. But you can go ahead and invite them at any time. It’s just that they won’t actually move in til you reach that stage

Hey guys! I am wondering how you can prevent from flowers growing back after you pick them. I'm building a strawberry field and the red pansies, when picked, look like strawberry bushes!

The only way to keep the blooms from coming back would be to plant them on your beach. If they’re on grass or dirt, there is no way to keep them stunted unfortunately

They’re more likely to wear things that are in their preferred style/color, but it’s still pretty random when they choose to wear things. I believe there are certain villager types who are more or less prone to wear gifted clothing in general too

i’ve had Katt on my island for two whole years now, plus countless years worth of time-traveling as well, and not once has she ever asked to leave nor has any campsite visitor ever requested her to leave. Is there a way to make her leave? Has this ever happened to anyone before? Is there a reason why she’s not leaving? Idk what to do anymore. 😭

Just unfortunately bad luck; the things that would block a moveout bubble from appearing are

• if the villager is your newest one
• if the villager is the last one you said no to when they wanted to move out
• if you've literally never talked to them
• if they are in the middle of a moving process
• if their birthday is coming up
  and none of them apply in your case. (Unless you for some reason have been carrying her house moving kit in your pockets for two years straight lol)

Also, out of these, campers are only affected by the moving process one

So it's just up to luck ^^

• Image 2: when ylu close the filter menu, you should see this. You can check off an item as catalogued by clicking the circled checkmark icon (or by double tapping the image of the item). You can switch the variant by clicking on the small images, also circled. If the item has a lot of variants, you can click the three dots in the top left corner of the item box to easily check off all variants (not circled here oops)
• Image 3: This is where to find the "Unchecked first" sorting option
• Image 4: And this is where the alternative option to image 3 is, which hides all the checked off ones instead of pushing them to the back, whichever way you prefer

You've invited all the available villagers up to this point! Villagers won't appear again on mystery islands until you've moved in your first campsite visitor, and they'll only appear if you have an empty plot.

Keep in mind from now on you can only invite one villager from a mystery island per day! After you invite one, no more will show up for the rest of the day.

After kk comes to the island to perform what’s next? How do you progress in the game after that?

You unlock a bunch of features right after the concert that you can check out, like new kinds of mystery islands, overhauled island designing tools (land- and waterspacing as well as pathing), cooking recipes and making foods, an upgrade to Harv's island etc.
Some goals you could set for yourself could for example be

• some goals for decorating your island/home
• rotating in fun new villagers
• collecting DIY recipes
• completing the museum
  After that point there isn't just one clear goal for you to work towards; the life sim part of the game sort of starts to take over more. ^^
  Many people like to spend a lot of time decorating their island, but the collection aspect is also appealing to many players (and they do tie into eachother too, as with more items you ofc have more decor options). And there's always the daily interactions with villagers spicing things up a bit

In the end, it's up to you to what you'd like to do. Most important thing is playinh the game your way ^^

You have to buy "Become a chef: DIY recipes+" with miles a day after K.K's concert; you'll get some with it already and you can also by a pack of cooking DIYs from Nook's Cranny ^^ after that, they are found essentially everywhere normal DIYs are found

You have to pick one of the options that are for playing with friends (either open your gates to friends or try searching for a friend's island) and Orville gives it to you (no need to actually invite/travel)
But best friends requests can't be sent if you don't have the app I'm pretty sure, and normal friend requests are handled through your general Switch profile, so you can accept the request there ^^

.t moveout This below is the method I'd recommend you to follow, but simply due to the nature of the mechanic it's very very luck based, and even with an optimised method like this one it can take a good while to get someone out if you happen to have bad luck, even if you do nothing wrong. I'd recommend just keeping at it, using the moveout kit trick explained in the guide below and wish you luck 🍀

Hello, my gf played on my switch (i was there the first account to enter the game, and became a mayor by accident), and i trasfered the island to her new switch and now she cant do certain things, like she doest have the recipe to make a ladder, after like 500 hours in game. the thing is, i played on my account, and she on hers, now that we transfered the island, she became the mayor, cuz she was the first to open the game, she got everything transfered, buy some things that she unlocked earlier from mayor quests are still on the old mayor account.

and she doesnt have those quests, which means she still cant obtain recipes like the ladder, since she already did that quest on my character earlier.

She would not become the mayor just because she was the first to play on the new island. The mayor remains the same, even when transferring an island with that transfer tool. I would have her open her passport and look for the stamp that says she is indeed the resident rep, because it sounds like that’s the issue. Your player account still exists on her island and is still the resident rep (mayor)

You have to hang the clothes on the back wall in Able Sisters, and then villagers have a chance of randomly taking something from there to their wardrobe. No way to manually give unfortunately

i think if you reshake the same tree a while after in the same day you should still get sticks, but be careful because some trees might drop a wasps nest and they sting you unless you run and enter a building or catch them with a net, if you do get stung you just have to get medicine

There is not really much you could be doing wrong; here are the things that could be straight up blocking the bubble #game-help-questions❓ message , but in most cases it's just about bad luck (very common issue amongst players). Having high friendship does make the odds a little lower, but not by too much and there is nothing you can do to lower the friendship level anyways

Errors in the island transfer tool? If you followed all the instructions properly and have the Switch's very close to each other, I (and I'd imagine the vast majority of people here) don't think I'm able to help much (a pretty rare issue here/I at least haven't heard of this before while being a helper for a few years). With a google search I found an article about fixing two kinds of errors one might encounter when using the transfer tool, I can DM that to you if you'd like.
Also, I saw some other people claim that their errors were fixed when they connected both switches to the same mobile hotspot for the transfer

If none of that works, contacting Nintendo's customer support is also always an option ^^

Oh, to add, one thing you can do to increase the odds a little is claim some other villager's house moving kit (who none of the things listed in the other message apply to either) and keep it in your inventory without placing it down. That makes that villager unable to get the bubble, increasing the odds of your target getting it by a little
