Yes. Eating gives you the energy to destroy and dig up trees/rocks. The rock will appear randomly elsewhere on your island after a day or two. Trees will only grow back if you plant them.

Hold a net when shaking trees, by doing that and standing in front you can easily catch the wasps that sometimes fall out of the trees

You sometimes get small amounts of bells and furniture from the trees too, so shaking them every day can be a good outcome

You need at least a flimsy axe for wood. A flimsy axe will give you wood without cutting the tree down while a regular axe will. To make a flimsy axe you just need 5 tree branches and 1 stone. You can continuously shake a tree for tree branches. You can get the recipe from either Tom nook or Timmy and Tommy I’m pretty sure

i don't think trash bags work? idk tho. iirc, it has to be real trash like boots, tires, cans, etc. but yes i've used this method and it took me so long. for me, so rotten turnips work better. i dropped it for a minute, and fly already there. you should try it.

So you should be able to invite two more from mystery islands if you visit them before completing the three plots quest Tom Nook gives (which will happen as you keep playing)!

Once those three villagers are moved in, you'll get a quest to do the campsite. You have to invite the villager that first visits the campsite. Once they're moved in you can buy plots of land from Tom Nook to invite more villagers, but at this point you can only invite one villager from a mystery island per day.

You can find out your weather seed by tracking your weather patterns on a website called meteonook, I personally don't know much about the actual process though

Once you know your seed you can input it to the site and it'll tell your weather on any given day/time

The villager has to go to the other player's MOQ first via voiding

They should no matter what always keep their original outfit in their inventory, but as you haven't given her any clothes that's like the only other "everyday" clothing item she has, so I'd imagine it's just her trying to vary her clothing from the sweater but having only this one option, and randomly happening to end up using the white top more often. I don't know the nitty gritty of how villagers pick their clothes to use, but that's an educated guess based on what I do know

I just finished my 30 homes but I’ve not bought much of anything from the shop at the Archipelago because I have a lot of stuff already, even checking every day, it’s always things I’ve catalogued before. So I guess I’ll just have to suck it up and pay those 150k Poki (or however close to that I have left)😂

I have around 400k Poki so the amount is fine, just wish they offered more things I didn’t have. I’m currently rectifying a time debt of about a month so I am time traveling, but still😂 (in my game it’s close to Halloween lol). It’s been pretty to watch the autumn colors. Plots #1 & 3 have already been taken, but #2 hasn’t. I’ve been time skipping, even went two years ahead, and still nothing. Does anyone know how to fix it?

Hello! Uh, so a while ago my switch broke, couldn’t fix it, and got a new one, and the island save could didn’t work. I’m working on a new island now, and making good progress (already gotten all bugs and almost all fish).

Anyways, I remembered the nooklink section of the app, and when I checked, it showed the old island stats! I haven’t been able to access it in any other way, so I don’t know how it’s still there. Can someone help me figure out how to get the island back?

You can't make her come, she is dependant on your weather pattern and will visit up to once a week on a day that has shooring stars. And the recipe she gives is always just a random one you have not already learned, except for if you don't have the currwnt zodiac season's recipe already, it's always that (or if it's the first time seeing her then it's always the star wand), no tricks to getting some specific one other than time travelling to a certain zodiac season if you are looking for one those recipes

Yes, the first camper will always be a smug, he will appear the day after the camping is built.

If you don't have 10 villagers yet you need to place a plot for the camper to be able to move in.

Sorry if this is late, I looked it up some time ago but iirc when planting, the pumpkin sprouts or whatever they’re called, have roughly 10% chance of yielding other colors such as green, white and yellow pumpkins. So it’s rng, gotta force the numbers essentially by planting however many pumpkins to get some of the color you need, in the quantity you need. You’ll want to water them daily to get the most yield (which at max will be 3 pumpkins per plant)

I have a few questions about dreaming. When I log a dream of my island, do my current visitors appear in the dream? For example, if I have a camper or Redd's Treasure Trawler on my island when I dream, will this appear in the dream or will they be gone?

Also, will the same villagers always appear in or out of their houses based on where they are when I dream, or will they change each time someone visits the dream?

Campsite tent is there but you can't go in, I'd imagine Redd's boat is the same thing. Any other visiting NPCs or any plaza visitors or events like fireworks show aren't there though IIRC

For the villagers, I can't give you an answer it could be pretty easily tested though. Or maybe someone else knows.

Unless you specifically transfer your save data with the island transfer tool it will not move your island over and you can just start a new island on the new switch

If you have Nintendo Switch Online you can open your island using a dodo code (something you can set up with Orville at the airport) that lets anyone that you give the code to enter your island

If someone messages saying they have what you want/need and are willing to trade sell or give it to ya you can send them the code and they’ll visit your island to drop of/trade the items, or vice versa they might give you a code to go to theirs

His stock of veggies changes each time he visits, whereas they only change on Monday on Harvs island and are the ones he will have for that week.

The next Monday, he will selling different veggies.

You can also make a lf post in#fruit-vegetable-trade for any veggies you need. Just make sure you offer something in return for the trade.

But during October, Leif will ALWAYS sell pumpkins.

First of all you need the online subscription ^^ then, talk to Orville, the dodo at the airport, and choose I want to fly -> Visit someone -> via online play, and in most cases you'd pick Via Dodo Code in the next step. Then just enter the code you got from the other person

The other option (Look for a friend) is for if you are Switch friends with someone, and the other person picked "invite all my friends" when opening the gate. In that case no code is needed

The first three villagers that you put plots for are from mystery islands, but Ive been through 50-60 nook mile tickets and the last 30 ive seen the same villagers repeatedly and more often than normal is there a way to fix this is or is it normal

Those 3 plots are also personality locked so you may get more repeats than usual

The first 3 villagers will always have the Normal, Peppy, & Lazy personality so if you've invited 2 out of 3 you'll see the same villagers sometimes

No, you can't directly change bells to miles but you can redeem a few hundred points for a money coupon to sell to the lil Nooks. A bit later, you'll get lil side quests to get more miles

Oh yes, you'll only need to use miles to pay off the mortgage the 1st time to house, then it'll be bells after

No; Tom will just offer you home/storage upgrades in advance, and then you can pay them off after or never, he'll never be on your butt about not paying them

No, basically, each time you add a new room you have to pay off a loan, and it gets more expensive the more rooms you add.

The loan is a one time payment for each room.

But you can't add anymore rooms until the current loan is paid off. And the basement is the final room to be added.

There's no visible chest. You can simply enter your tent/house, bring up your pocket, pick items, & store things from there. To access your storage, in your home you press Right on the Dpad, & it will show you what you have in storage as well as take things out

i have 8 villagers right now, and someone has just set up a tent in my village who i would like to invite, but i'm kinda confused, if i accept them, will someone in my village move out, or does that only happen if i have 10 villagers at the time of accepting a new person?

if it doesnt immediately move someone out, will accepting someone new cause 1 of my villagers to ask about leaving?

If you invite the camper to your island with less than 10 villagers, the camper will lament & hint "if only there was a plot for me", prompting you to go to Tom and Sell some land to get a housing kit and put it down if there's no open plot yet. No one will be asked to move out thru a camper until all 10 plots are filled. Current villagers can still ask to move out if they have the moving out thought bubble

There's always the option of changing your Switch's internal clock to move time forwards or backwards inside the game, it's called time travel in the community. Some people like it, some people don't, it's just a personal preference for how you like to play
