No, for him to ask a random other person you need to fully close the game without ending the dialogue. Otherwise he'll keep this pick every time he brings it up

If you finished that conversation it likely autosaved that choice, so he will choose Raymond every time. Next time you want a camper you can close the game if they choose a villager you wish to keep, start up the game, and invite them again. They should choose a villager at random (might be the same choice so you can close and repeat)

If it's raining, they won't spawn at all. If it is not, then they can be found flying near water, between the hours of 8am - 5pm, during May-October for NH (November-April for SH). If you meet all those conditions, then just keep at it! They have a spawn rate of 7, so it's not the rarest, but is still relatively low. If you are able to go to mystery island to try catching one, sometimes this can be helpful!

If you have dropped on the floor more than 15 of any kind of item that doesn't spawn naturally, it caps your rating at 4 stars. It technically doesn't remove points though

1. You’ll have to talk to her at least once after she’s moved in

2. The most recent villager to move in will never ask to move out, so hunt for another if necessary

3. If a new villager has moved to the island (whether or not it’s faith) nobody on the island will ask to move until 15 days later

4. If a villager who isn’t faith asks to move and you accept/decline, you’ll have to wait 5 days before another villager asks to move - the best thing to do here is just to close out of the game before ending the conversation so the game doesn’t save, that’ll just make it so you only have to wait 1 day, for the villager who wants to move out to be randomized

5. While the game does take friendship level (what you are affecting by hitting a villager with a net/not talking to them) into account when choosing which villager to move out (once all timeframe requirements are met), in my experience and from what I’ve seen, it’s significantly mostly just up to random chance. Again the best way to get a specific villager to move out is to wait until you’ve confirmed any villager has the move out thought bubble, close out and restart instead of answering them, and then time traveling/waiting daily until the bubble lands on the desired villager

I’ve also heard that nobody asks to move out on days that KK slider performs which has been true for me

If you don’t want to deal with that + your island has 10 villagers you can invite the campsite villager to kick a random villager out (close out before ending convo and reset if it’s the wrong villager)

Amiibo invites are the same but you can choose who to kick out so it’ll save all the hassle and wait if you have some real money to spend 😭

With... a database then? Those preferences are just values that are completely hidden and never explicitely stated by the villagers or anything else in-game. The default clothing and house furniture that developers set for them sometimes match those preferences to some extent, but you'll never have hard confirmation without checking the internal values through a database like Catalogue.ac or Nook Plaza

You could also use the /villager commands over in #bot-commands . But you would still have to open up the linked villager page, as the embed doesn’t list all those details. A guide or database where all the info is there in one place is your best bet, as Coco said

Hello! Can someone explain the mechanic of gifted villagers? Say I have a villager who I’ve gifted clothes and furniture, from what I’ve seen they become devalued in the market. Say that villager leaves my island and comes back for examples sake, will they be reset?

If it's the exact same instance of that villager (they move to player X's island, then you adopt them later from X), then no, they'll keep whatever gifts you and X gave them
If it's a new instance of that villager, (they came from the campsite or from a mystery island), then yes, they'll be brand new and have no gifts nor memories of you
In the case of plot autofills, they can fall in both categories (either they were waiting in your void from visits with other players, or your void was empty and they'll be fresh new)

There are only a handful of unique mystery islands, some rare than others, which can lead to getting the same one multiple times in a row in case of bad luck
For fruits, know that you can only find two different fruits on mystery islands (three if you count coconuts): your native fruit, and your sister fruit, for the others you'll have to trade with other players

The fruits found on mystery islands aren't related to the island type itself, any island (except those without fruit trees) can have either fruit tree

It's all up to you, know that turnip prices can vary wildly and are pretty much random (they follow a randomized pattern set each Sunday)
The Nook's Cranny price can range between 10% and 600% of Daisy Mae's price on Sunday (so roughly between 9 and 660 bells), but the higher the price, the rarer
In the end, it's a game of "do I play safe selling now and miss potential higher price later" or "do I risk waiting without being sure the price will rise"
You can use turnip pattern price trackers like https://turnipprophet.io/ to eventually see the odds of how your current price pattern will end up

What LeChatMG said is absolutely correct, but I want to add one thing. While it can sell from 9-660 bells, when I was doing turnips a lot more, what would be a more common "good" price, was in the mid 300s

So like if you see something in the upper 200s/low 300s, that might be as good as you'll see

and do remember, come next Sunday (1 week after you buy them) the turnips ROT and are unsellable

idk if this helps, but i think when you unlock terraforming , you unlock paths and you can get a ‘custom design’ path tool which lets you place custom designs slightly quicker than if you did it by ‘Display on ground’ from the app, but the custom designs placed, either way, can both be removed by clicking ‘Y’ I think 👍

Once somebody agrees to move out, the next day they'll be "in boxes", which means they're home and their items are "in boxes" because they're packing up. The next day, their house reverts to a plot. DURING THAT DAY, you can go to somebody else's island, if THEY have a villager "in boxes", you can talk to that villager and say "Oh move to MY island"

Yep, just switch it back on to come back to real-time. Progress is not undone by going back, you do lose your nook mile streak in the ATM thing.

You can get up to 8 different paths, 1 includes a ‘custom design path’ which does the same as you displaying it on ground, they can be unlocked at the ‘NookStop ‘ in resident services by redeeming nook miles.

Honestly, I just Google real vs fake Redd art and compare it to what he is selling on his boat. I think he acts mischievous when he’s telling you about a fake piece and sometimes there’s coffee stains on fakes.

What’s the best way to catch a golden stag. I have coconut tress all over my beach, played numerous hours all though the evening and night, been to capn and used nookmiles, cut down all tress but coconut tree. After 2 weeks with about 3 hours average no luck

They’re just rare spawns. It took me 7-8 hours to find them for my roommate. Picking all your flowers also helps tho, gets rid of the chances of those bugs spawning.

You need to water black roses with a golden watering can to produce golden roses .
Island rating doesn't matter as long as you watered them with a golden can.
If more players water, breeding chances are higher but that's general for all flowers.
