I find that people is having a hard time kicking villagers before kk is unlocked or when they have less than 10 villagers. It’s completely up to rng. Try this. Sync back to real time and talk to all your 7 villagers. Then start the moveout process again

As far as actual benefits go... you get different Reactions the more you interact with them, because those are based on the personality types. Other non-tangible benefits? More diverse dialogue. If you have an island of all Lazy villagers (or insert any other personality), you basically are stuck in a sea of the same dialogue day in and day out.

Dodo codes are temporary codes to visit the island of another player, you need the Nintendo Switch Online (NSO) subscription to use those, if you do have it you need to ask Orville at the airport to travel to someone's island online.
Dreams codes are codes used to visit a dream copy of someone's island. You also need NSO for this, if you do have it you need to first upgrade your tent to a house and then just lie in a bed in your house. You'll then meet Luna in a dream and she will explain to you the details about how dreams work

Depends on you. If you're a very active player you will definitely notice repetition, but it's not as bad as it was when the game first released, as about every patch added some variation in dialogue.
Most often the first dialogue you get from a character each day will be a longer and more special one, while talking to them again that same day will nearly always just give short dialogues you've already seen dozens of times. I personally still discover some longer dialogues I've never seen before when talking to my villagers for the first time that day, even though I've been playing since the game is out lol

Well, each villager personality have their own pool with no overlaps, but if you have more than one villager of that personality you're bound to often get repeats since they draw from the same pool. And I personally find the pool used for talk-agains to be especially repetitive

Each villager has a main personality (Cranky, Jock, Smug, Lazy, Snooty, Peppy, Sisterly, Normal) but also a subtype. Depending on if they’re A or B version of a personality they may have small differences between them.

Such as a difference in social level/reactions, difference in voice pitch, and different set of stories they give when you have high friendship with them. Subtypes are also more likely to share a hobby type too.

The intended way to catch fast-swimming critters is apparently to creep up on them by moving with the stick but not pressing the swimming button, your character will just move slowly in that direction and the critter will only move very slowly, allowing you to place yourself on top of the shadow and catch the critter immediately as you dive.
...Though in my experience, it's so hard to correctly position yourself that you're better off just framing the critter in the corner of the nets as you did lol

i just started diving last night but i did a lot of it and only had twice where i had to dive multiple times to catch the critter? The key to me was diving when you are on top of the bubbles at the top of the water. If you look at the surface you can see them and sometimes they start to move before you even dive

If you just started diving, you probably haven't yet encountered a large critter. Those flee from you and swim so fast that you'll never catch them by swimming underwater after them

hey guys, juuust a question - im playing ACNH and I'm stuck with a villager i dont particularly like. I've watched many guides on how to get villagers to leave but im coming up empty handed?

So far, I have the villager on a secluded island which cant be access unless you use a vpole, i have their house surrounded by wooden fencing and ive completely ignored them for multiple days. ive interacted loads with the other villagers to try and get this one to move but it seems really determined to never leave my island. any tips? ive done a lot of time travelling and i still come up with no results.

be sure to talk to them, once or twice more (I promise it will not hurt your chances) also try to say "no" if another villager ask to leave, it will give you a 5 day cool down before anyone else can ask but this is to make sure they can indeed ask.

in ACNH you have to be friendly and interact with villagers if you want them to leave. That's why everyone's favs are always asking to leave lol. I recommend if you see a villager asking to leave that isn't the villager you want gone, rather than telling them no and having the 5 day cooldown start on asking again, just force quit the game and don't talk to them the rest of the day if you see them with the thought bubble. There will be a chance someone else will ask the next day to leave, just helps cycle through faster to get the one you want to go

being friendly isn't a mandatory thing. villagers with a lower friendship have better chances of asking, but you do need to have introduced yourself; saying no to a villager you want to keep is to make sure they are not the lastest you said no to, because they are locked into not asking; then yes day by day

if you don't see any bubble after 15 days of day by day after the month jump, just start over, jump a month and day by day again. if you see bubbles but not on the right villager keep going

In fact, to add on to the previous answer, your trees already have fruit before you name your island. Remember, you have one of the five fruits as your "native" fruit.
