Well the nice thing about crops is that you can plant them pretty much anywhere, as long as it is grass or dirt. You don’t need extra spaces, so the cliff shouldn’t really affect your design

You can kick that villager out eventually. How many villagers do you have right now? That happens when you play online and you let a new day rolled over with an empty plot. Other people’s voided villagers got transferred to your move in queue so your plot autofilled

depends on what you need to do, if you need to chop trees down completely for example you need an iron tool. the flimsy tools just wear out quickly. but don't forget you can pick up iron by going to nmt islands, and that it'll help to dig a row of holes behind you before striking rocks so you can get all 8 hits in

• The basic idea is to fill your island with plants and furniture, as Isabelle usually suggests. So if she says to add flowers, do it - or at least, wait for them to be fully bloomed (to get the max points from them) ; Same thing if she hints at adding furniture.

Your best bet is to just follow Isabelle’s advice. There are two kinds of scores: nature and development. So if she’s talking about trees and flowers, you need more nature points. If she is talking about scenery or infrastructure, then you need more development points

Crossing over his face wont do, its the fact that the buyer can trust that there will be made an investigation on your account if you so happen to be a scammer. Wellll some things in the game are exclusive to the resident representative character, which is the account of whoever first had a character created on the island ; or when they're not exclusive to them they must first be unlocked by them to be obtained by the other accounts through other ways (like some basic recipes, which are sold at Nook's Cranny instead of obtained through quests)
So if your fiance is the one that is the resident representative, yet he doesn't play, you are going to be a bit stuck on a lot of things, yeah...

The only case where there might be an issue when you can't find a villager would be if their door says "I moved out"
But you'd first have had to say yes to their move out request the previous day, someone would have had to visit your island today and invited him, and his house would have been removed the next day. I don't think you could have done that by accident lol

It's more likely just that he hid indoors somewhere or behind some tree or building every time you passed by x)

There’s no difference in the type of tree stump. It’s most likely just because the other two are more rare! (They are also only available during certain months, whereas the two you’ve seen are available year-round)

Quick question, why is it preferable to force someone out rather than waiting for someone new to want to move in? Don't they just kick someone out anyways?

As in the new resident takes the place of an old one, why is it necessary to forcibly evict someone?

The replacement mechanic youre describing is only with the campsite villager that visits naturally. And while you can grind to roll for the villager you’re after there are other easier ways to get villagers. And its important to evict someone first to get the empty plot because you cant adopt villagers from other players without an empty plot first. You also wont be able to find any new villagers on mystery islands without the empty plot.

If you amiibo someone into the campsite you can choose who they replace, yea, but not everyone has the means to purchase amiibos.

OK so having an open plot is the only way to recruit villagers from Mystery Islands or other Players, gotcha. Campsite villagers will evict whoever they want but other Villagers require you to evict someone or have an open plot. Tyvm

I'm getting annoyed with a specific villager because he knocked 3 times in a row while I was rearranging furniture and he tried to visit me the same way almost every day.

If I can't do anything with the visit frequency, what is the number that I have to smack them with the bug catching net to kick them off the island?

you can't reduce the friendship level, smacking will do nothing. the can ask to leave if they are not the lastest to move or the lastest you said no to.

She also may be behind a cliff or a tree or in a weird spot

She can spawn anywhere so keep that in mind and scour the island before giving up but she may have not spawned

Of course you can still get somebody to leave by either inviting another campsite villager, and the person they choose will leave... OR inviting an Amiibo villager over a 3 day period and you can choose for somebody to replace.. but yeah nobody organically will try to leave I believe

I have two switches and two physical copies of the game. I started them both before the big update and dlc came out, and had no issues playing them both at the same time, with the same nintendo account as the main player for each. Now that I bought the DLC I can only play one of them at a time and the other one boots me out because they both have the DLC downloaded. Is there any way to get around this?

Unfortunately I don’t think so since the DLC is digital by nature, and Nintendo only lets you do digital stuff on one account at a time

You’re welcome to contact them to see if they have an official workaround. This is just Based on my personal experience playing on two consoles at the same time

the only things i can think to try would be to create another non-nintendo account player on the second switch and not use the main one anymore, or to delete the DLC off one of the switches

the main reason i have two is to play them both together and trade between them, so if there's no way to play them together anymore i'm going to be upset

But if you exit without saving upon seeing them, or time travel to yesterday when the campsite was built, could you prevent getting a villager you really don't want? I imagine time traveling to refresh the campsite villager would work. They will ask to leave too so you’d be able to let them go if you really don’t like them

Yes, just make sure you've spoken to that villager at least once and their house isn't currently being relocated.
