Hi all! I’ve been trying to get ahold of a full set of zodiac figurines (from katatina). After months of daily visits and purifications, I have been able to get 12/13 figurines. The only one I am missing is the dragon figurine. It’s been over a month since Katarina sent me the last figure and she doesn’t seem to want to send me the dragon figure despite multiple attempts at purifying bad luck. Does anyone have any idea why this is happening? Am I just horribly unlucky? Should I keep visiting her daily until she eventually sends it to me? Is there some code in the game that is preventing her from sending it?

For the last like 3 days I've been checking turnip prices at nooks cranny at both am and pm times.
But everyday the am price is exactly the same as the pm price. I know you're meant to get 2 separate prices but it isn't changing for me.
Anyone know why?

There are a few turnip tracking apps/sites that help you keep track of your prices, which can then help you predict when there may be a big spike. Without knowing the exact prices, it’s difficult to say whether there’s an issue or if the prices were possibly just very similar. (With certain patterns, there won’t be big fluctuations, so it may just be that)

The NSO app keeps track of your prices too actually. If you have that app, maybe check there to confirm what your prices were exactly

Yeah, it is definitely possibly. The fluctuating pattern tends to just go up-down by small increments. And the decreasing trend will just slowly keep going down. As you can see above, I have a fluctuating pattern this week and my first 3 prices were 123, 125, 127. _IsaDeadTired

how I manage :

  1. talk to all of them; save.
  2. TT one month; Save
  3. set clock to 1pm; then tt day by day.
  4. Look for a villager with a bubble outside, if there is none TT one day (don't have to save).
    if the bubble is on the wrong villager, tt one day.
    if after 2 weeks of day by day I don't see any bubble, I start over completely.
    I always managed to get a bubble in 30 minutes at most with this method

i save the game, i close it, i go into system settings, go forward a month, launch the game, look for speech bubbles, find none and close the game, go another day forward for 2 weeks worth one day at a time closing the game each time, get frustrated finding none, go back to today’s date, repeat

• The basic idea is to fill your island with plants and furniture, as Isabelle usually suggests. So if she says to add flowers, do it - or at least, wait for them to be fully bloomed (to get the max points from them) ; Same thing if she hints at adding furniture.

Cloning means a single flower. Putting two next to each other would cause them reproduce, not clone.

Aside from watering them yourself, you can have visitors water them for a better chance. Make sure you’re watering each day before any time travel ^^

For gyroids you first need to unlock Kapp'n special mystery island tours (3-star rating required for this), it'll allow you to get a quest from Blathers during which you will meet Brewster, who will tell you about them.
For wands, most of them are DIYs you get from Celeste, who visits when you have some shooting stars. You can get a couple from other sources though, like seasonal DIYs from balloons or as fishing tourney and bug-off rewards

To add on what acceleration said, it completely depends on the flowers' genes, that are hidden and you have no way of telling them just based on the flower's appearance. Some flower combos just happen to work like mixing colours with the base genes (=planted from a seedbag)

Time Travel General Information


- You can join someone's island even if they have time traveled.

- The time on your island will not affect others, nor will theirs affect you in any way.

- TT will not make villagers leave, nor affect their friendship

- Visitors will remain on set days unless you leave the current week*.

Forward:

- Using TT to go to the next day is exactly the same as doing so naturally.

- Negative effects of TT: Weeds & flowers will grow, cockroaches may be in your house, you may get the bedhead animation, villagers may ask where you've been. If you have a villager moving in/out or have turnips please see the faq. Any open plot may be filled upon going to a new day.

Backward:

- Positive Effects: The daily recipe bottle will respawn, fossils will respawn and visitor shops & Able Sister's daily stock will refresh.

- Neutral Effects: It will not count as a new "day" in terms of progression. Villagers will not advance moving out. Building construction/upgrades/moving will not be completed. Nook's shop WILL NOT refresh unless you are passed the current week*. Rocks will not refresh. Trees will not drop new furniture.

- Negative effects: Any open plot will be randomly filled with a new villager. Turnips will spoil. Watered effect will be removed from flowers and they will not grow.

*Current week is set on Monday @ 5:00AM. Current day is set at 5:00AM```


**Time Travel & Turnips**
```- Turnips on your island will spoil if the time on your island advances passed Sunday @ 5:00AM

- Turnips on your island will spoil if the time is changed backwards by any amount.

- Turnips will spoil on the ground, in your inventory, or anywhere else on the island.

- The time on an island you visit will not affect your turnips.

- Turnip buy and sell price is not locked! If you time travel back the prices WILL change.

haven’t tried finding fog yet but rain, snow, rainbows have all been accurate and I TT a lot. I’d check for those events and if not, correct a few of your charted days to see if it generates a new seed

Also the best way to find your seed is with stars, but if you are using them, do not use special clouds, as it's not accurate in the data meteonook might be using. Avoid also event days

I headed over to the airport I even hopped onto the game on another account just to see if I would get a phonecall from Tom Nook and I have yet to get anything from him so far. I'm not currently time-traveling, everything is complete I went to harvs, went to every building on my island, I even went to the nook miles and nook mile ticket island and still nothing has worked so idk I downloaded the dlc a few days ago and got on today.

To unlock the Happy Home Paradise DLC after purchase, you must

• Upgrade your tent to a house.
• Complete the DIY workshop with Tom Nook.
• Upgrade Resident Services to a building.

Tom Nook will then phone in to introduce you to Lottie to start the beginning sequences of the DLC. You may need to wait for a new day to roll over to get this cutscene.

I don't see what else I am meant to do like I already have everything complete. I got it free on the nintendo online app I've restarted my switch, checked every building in-game, nobody else uses my switch or my account all the building in-game are finished. The game even showed that it was getting updated a few days ago when I got it from the shop and still nothing works so idk what else you expect for me to do from this point.

if it's part of your subscription then go the NSO app on your switch home screen, select expansion pack then the DLC, you might need to check "Details". See if it says downloaded (remember to use the account you are using with the game)
