Hello! I think I might have hit a glitch somewhere. At first, I thought I crafted an unbreakable flimsy fishing rod. But I did some experiments (I have caught at least 70 fishes with it + trash) and it only broke when my friend used it (it broke after her 8th fish).

I haven't tried other tools to see if whatever I use will never break but will do when I have time. But I do need help fixing it. Yes, it it cool to have an infinite fishing rod but something is still broken. I assume it is my character? bc I have crafted a new rod and it still would not break.

yes I have tried closing the game and reloading it before i did the experiments. unfortunately, it started autosaving before I could even exit the game.

Looking into what conditions something spawns can be helpful. Time travel will also help you complete it faster because you can get critters that are in different seasons

If you're new though I wouldn't worry too much about completing the critterpedia until you get farther in game

I have gold roses, I wnat more. I'm under the impression they don't propagate from one another/I need to make more off black roses. I feel like I wsa once told that you only need to water them with a gold can ONCE and then they are "tagged" as having been watered as such and will be able to grow golds even when watered by rain or a plain can, is this right or am I misremembering something?

Yes, it’s still possible to find them on mystery islands whenever you have an empty plot. The only villagers who would not appear on a mystery island are those who already live on your island, (or anyone in your move-in queue, if applicable)

The island transfer requires two switches. If you are a secondary player on the island, you can use the “move to a new island” option in order to move that player to a different switch.

If you chopped it down and the bug is gone, there’s really nothing you can do except wait to see if one spawns on another tree. You need to swing your net at the bug when you see it on the tree trunk, if you want to catch it

gifted, any amount, means they have items they are displaying in their home, or outfits that are not default.
it used to be very difficult to remove them, if you don't have the dlc displayed items are still a pain to remove

in my experience gifts like that only get displayed for a short while

you can give it a few days and see if it gets put away, if it doesn't you can head into house redesign instead of resetting the whole thing

scorpions have an attack mode and a relaxed mode, they will go into attack mode if they see you moving with your net out. if you don't have your net out (not up, out at all) then they won't go into attack mode, this is a safer way to look for scorpions if you're hunting on like a mystery island

if they're in attack mode and they see you move, they will attack you

if they're just in attack mode but you haven't moved, they will relax after a bit, you can then sneak up on them until you get close enough to catch them
