Ok I ran into a problem with my island transfer...apparently you can only transfer accounts that have a Nintendo account linked to them. I have 3 local accounts on my Switch that I created just to add extra houses to my island. Is there any way to get them onto my new Switch without linking a Nintendo account? Can I just manually create local accounts on the new Switch with the same name?

If I understood the original question correctly, As long as your rep has the Nintendo account you should be good. Later when you open the game with alternative profiles it’ll ask you to link the profile to an existing character.

As for the actual transfer, you transfer your island to the new console exactly as it was when you saved it to the old console. So everything will go over

There's no such thing as a creepy personality. There's just the 8 regular personalities (normal, peppy, snooty, sisterly, lazy, jock, smug, cranky) and each of them also have subtypes that change very little aspects. if some players deem some villagers creepy, it's mostly because of looks and possible headcanons.

It's safest to wait till you have a new villager locked in before time travelling back. I'm not exactly sure how it works, but I believe TT'ing backwards can cause your plot to progress stages and therefore autofill it

Some concrete things you can do is place just any furniture you happen to have in your storage all around your island if Isabelle says you're lacking in decoration, and plant flowers if she says you're lacking in natural environment. You can clean up everything after you've reached the 3 star rating

Dropped items? I don't think those matter until 5 stars. And placed fish count as furniture

It's not 100% up to date but if you don't enter special clouds and don't enter the weather on event days, you'll be fine. Make sure to also pick the vaguer option if you aren't quite sure about what you're having.
But in any case, shooting star timings are the best way to get your seed, so would recommend using those over weather tracking

Afternoon. Maybe someone here can shed some light on an issue I'm currently facing: I want to transfer my Island to a new Switch I've purchased and I've looked at a couple of tutorials, but I feel there's not much specifying about having multiple users.

I have one Islander apart from the Representative to hold my stuff and I want to transfer the Island along with the resident to the Target console. However, do I have to transfer the user data like I would do for my primary one over after I've done a transfer and then use the Island Tool app?

I just want to make sure it's not lost in the void and can't access.

This somehow feels more convoluted, but I want to make sure I'm transferring everything over safely.

transferring the entire island means you will move all residents.
I believe the profiles just need to be linked to their nintendo accounts if they have one, if not any new profile can claim existing players than don't have profiles associated

The way ACNH data is transferred is a different pathway than the transfer for other games so I’d say you’re safe in transferring your data for other games via system settings and then just starting a new ACNH island with a second Nintendo account on that same new switch ^^

Hi, question, I was time traveling because I wanted to get a villager away. Then suddenly a new one came from another island that I didn't give permission for. I really hate that villager and I want him gone but with time travel he just won't go away. Other villagers got their turn, but the other one didn't. Do you know what I can do to get him out?

Is he your most recent villager? And have you ever talked to them?

You need to talk to them at Least once and they can't be the most recent to move in. Otherwise as long as you follow the guide they said ask to move out eventually, it's just up to game rng at that point

Yes! You need to have at least 6 villagers to do this, but go to the nook stop at resident services, and there will be an option to scan the amiibo and invite them.to your campsite. See below for more details

• ** How do I get an Amiibo villager to move into my island?**
You must invite an Amiibo villager and craft them their requested item 3 times in order for them to agree to move in. It doesn't need to be 3 consecutive days, just 3 days total.

• What if I have an open plot?
Amiibos still need to be invited 3 separate times, even if you have an empty plot.

• Can I choose who the Amiibo villager kicks out?
Yes, just make sure you've spoken to that villager at least once and their house isn't currently being relocated.
