@lone edge just as a FYI, the order of villagers is based on the date they arrived in, so if you've time travelled backwards a lot they might appear before your older villagers because of that

• What fruit does my Mom give? - Your mom will mail you a fruit. This can either be a new fruit that you have not obtained yet or a random one.

• How do I get the rest of the fruits? - You will only be able to obtain 2-3 fruits by yourself. To get the rest of the fruits you need to trade with other people. when you dig up clams on the beach you should get a diy for fish bait, you can use the clams to make bait and then use the bait to get fish spawns

but if you're not looking for anything specific you can just run around the whole island and fish wherever there are shadows

where getting different fish and bugs are concerned, it's a good idea to look up monthly spawns on one of the wikis and try to fish or catch bugs where there are likely to be things you haven't caught in the past

some creatures are nocturnal, others aren't, some only spawn in certain places like tree stumps or on trees or flowers etc

• You obtain the Golden Watering Can DIY once you achieve your first 5-star rating. Also, lilies-of-the-valley can spawn as long as your island keeps its 5-star rating!

• The basic idea is to fill your island with plants and furniture, as Isabelle usually suggests. So if she says to add flowers, do it - or at least, wait for them to be fully bloomed (to get the max points from them) ; Same thing if she hints at adding furniture.

but just do the improvements isabelle tells you to, they will always change after a while. JUst follow her advices and you will reach 3 stars in no time!

i am forever stumped why my daily nook mail bonus keeps resetting at random points of the week when i always go to check it and from what i read, the timer reset is until 5am local time(?) which checks out because one time i logged in playing at 1 in the morning and it didn't reset. i do know on twitter a few others have this bug as well like i do and never time travel either so 🤷‍♀️

speaking of bugs, another one i have is from my villagers! so you know how some of them have fancy or cute catchphrases? well i noticed some of them...randomly automatically like, are given to other villagers? like for example i gave katt a new catchphrase and somehow her catchphrase is on like, 2 other different villagers on my island? xD its so random lol

• Upgrade your tent to a house.
• Complete the DIY workshop with Tom Nook.
• Upgrade Resident Services to a building.

Tom Nook will then phone in to introduce you to Lottie to start the beginning sequences of the DLC. You may need to wait for a new day to roll over to get this cutscene.

• Shooting stars only happen between 7 pm and 4 am. There are two main types:

• Light meteor showers: Only a handful of 5-star groups shoot each hour, if said hour has a clear sky. These average between 5-10 per month.
• Note that weather patterns use a seed and are set in stone for your island, including when the shooting stars will appear, to the second. You can use Ninji's MeteoNook app (https://wuffs.org/acnh/weather/) to help determine your seed and get your weather and shooting stars forecast for your island.

In any case, if he invites you over (random interaction, if you're good enough friends with him), he'll eventually let you buy one of his displayed furniture items. That's your chance to get rid of the flamingo, if you don't have the DLC (which the remodeling is exclusive to, yes)

i'm trying to uninstall the HHP DLC so that i can start a fresh island on a new nintendo account (new console, the account i started my island with is the same as an island on an older console, and the DLC is preventing me from playing with my siblings so i want to get rid of it and play on an account that considers my new console the "primary" one), but the "hold down the L button while selecting the DLC for redownload" won't work, and instead just re-reinstalls the DLC when i do it. since i have a physical copy of the game, do i just not need to do this whole step in the eShop, or am i missing something?

Can you log out of the Nintendo account and then log into a new account and buy the dlc that way

Then you'll be able to play together

i honestly feel like that might be my best bet, but the problem there is that i'm not sure if i'll be buying the DLC on the new account :'D also no worries, this is probably a pretty tough nut to crack, considering there's a reason why i'm asking here instead of just googling it (hint: google has no clear answers either, haha), so i kind of prepared for the possibility that there just might not be an answer to this :P

yep! i have two islands on two consoles, both under the same nintendo account, but due to having digital content associated with the game (DLC), i can't do visits between the islands, which is a problem since that means i can't play with my siblings. the DLC is the problem here i assume, but i can't figure out how to delete it, but now i'm not sure if i even need to manually delete it in the eShop since i have a physical copy
