It's a game meant to be played in 15 - 20 minute increments throughout the day, and it's meant to last at least over 7 years. It takes a long time to do certain things, but they pay off via really good furniture and getting animals in your campsite. With the new game, you do not have to pay to have one following you, or pay to earn anything cool. It is very fun to decorate, and feels a lot more casual. The animals feel more personable, but you will chat less daily. It feels very rewarding to earn the clothes and furniture because of how intricate it is .

How does gullivers ship work?

There are different souvenirs for different islands. Pick an island and export what's suggested or export something else like material, fish, fruit etc. Gulliver will sail to the island and when he gets back you can choose a souvenir. You can't really see what you're choosing but you can use tokens to get more or just export more. And depending on the island it can take a while like either some hours or just minutes.

They are if you have enough material to make them. Lately I make a few at a time so I can send Gulliver to all three islands at once to save time.

I think there's a mechanic that auto-favorites event/high rarity items. if you check the items in your inventory you should see a little heart next to it if you have it faved. I had to manually unfavorite all the ones I didn't want so that I could do anything with them.

Whenever I meet a new villager I give them a couple of the gold treats to level them up quick which helps me level up.

I’m really confused on how Gulliver works. I had him go to an island and he came back with villager maps, but now I can’t find the maps in my inventory? I’m confused on how you use the villager maps he brings back

Getting 2 characters to level 15 (I do via 10 gold snacks) gives you a level up with some excess

They are referring to the fact that you can't use complete tickets to finish cookie sets, if you access your complete tickets through the cookie stall you will just get the ability to buy the relevant cookie at cost of the ticket

Hmm I guess it really just depends on what items you want. For the complete catalog, most of those items will come around again when their event comes back, so you will eventually have the chance to obtain the items without a complete ticket, but we just don't know how long it'll be before those events come back around since they said there will be 4 whole years worth of events that repeat. As for cookies, I feel like I'm less likely to use a complete ticket on them since the item you get is random, unless you like every item in the cookie.

One thing I really like is that you can get a traveling vendor daily so there's always a chance to get seasonal items as well as the complete tickets which you can use to get past items.

absolutely yes! as stated previously, it's really easier to complete events, and leaf tokens are waaay easier to get than leaf tickets (the micro transaction that we used to have in the old version)

plus there are many great QOL updates: ability to save favorite outfits, have a camper helper, save many design layouts.

edit: forgot to mention they've added the ability to add custom designs from ACNH ! that's really cool. Plus they are adding new cookies untill September of 2025, on top of the thousands of furniture/ clothing we already have

Tbh the essence grind is pretty brutal so I've been using tickets on maps and then feeding them 10 gold snacks immediately to get them to lv15

As soon as you do their map invite them to camp or cabin so that you don't need a calling card

Lv 1->15 is always 83 bronze / 25 silver / 10 gold snacks (generic)
