QR Code allows you to add other players to your campsite. You’ll find your friends on Whistle Pass. And to use it you should find the Camper Card menu in the lower right corner. But someone can correct me if I’m wrong.

Oh! Their characters show up in the mountain area where kk performs every night and you can talk to them. Sometimes they give you gifts. Asking 3 of their characters for help with the quarry also gives you bonus chances to do said quarry without spending leafs.

Having a handful of them is super helpful, especially if you're short on materials or there's a gyroid event, cuz the quarry is the best place for that.

If you play AC Pocket Camp, you can scan the code to add people as friends. It's one-sided (you never know who added you), because you can't really interact with anyone, but their avatars will wander around KKs concert area where you can ask them for help in the quarry.
