I am not stressing the leaderboard this time around. In the outbreak event I was unable to get an adequate number of activation charges to boost the points tally. I just finished the event and have around 5200 points.
Since I play on my phone, the screen is not big enough to see all the activation charges so I miss a lot of them.

So, one thing that I am seeing with 25_10 in the Pollination event - the Activation Charges are not generating 10 points anymore ... It has been changed to 5 (thanks devs!!). The only issue I see is that 2 of the activation charges did not give me any points and the third one gave me 5 points.

This is a new addition ... I think the Division ID# defines the cohort that you are playing in for the Exploration event for the leaderboard.
I hope that the devs publish a FAQ on the details of how the Resource Currency can be earned in terms of how many are earned from the Generators, Research Nodes and the Quantum Charges (I guess for this in the current release only the ones that require Darwinium or Ads contribute towards the Resource Currency) once they have finalized the details and is released for the public.

Interesting observation with the points generated when Activating the quantum Charges - I am seeing different behavior from everyone of them .... Seems random!!! Just had 1 quantum charge that required me to view an Ad (alternatively use Darwinium) give me 11 points, followed with 2 quantum charge (that did not require any Ad watching or Darwinium) that did not give me any points, immediately followed by 1 (no Ads or Darwinium) giving me 4 points immediately followed by 1 (had to watch an Ad) that added 14 points .... I am thoroughly confused now and better go to sleep before I scramble my brain π Drop a note if others are seeing the same behavior or I am hallucinating ππ€£

It would be good if the devs publish a FAQ on how we earn.points in the leaderboard. If you read my comments from yesterday and today, it seems that the Activation Charge based points are.pretty random. Some clarity, at least for me, would be highly useful.

Something seems to be definitely off of with the Outbreak event that we are testing. I had finished the event yesterday with a Research Race rank of #3 but now it shows that my rank is #1 in the Research Race. I know that this race will be retired and is of no consequence, but thought of bringing it to the attention of the devs as it seems a bit hokey.

One thing that I would like for the devs to provide some details on is the points that are earned by the Activation Charges. They seemed to be random - 4 points to 13 points. It seems that the points are random and aligned with the randomness of the Activation Charge generation.

I would rather freeze the event so no one can play, but have a pop-up to claim the prize. If people are not around to see the pop-up, then they can claim it when the next event starts.
They can have the pop-up be available for say 15 minutes after the event ends. Just a thought.

I'm not sure, but it seems to me that the time in the screenshot needs to be added up, then we will get the real time, how long it took him to finish. The big challenge is overdraw - the way that Unity renders particle systems with transparency. Basically, every pixel on the screen gets re-rendered for every particle it has to go through.
If you have a nebula (or βΌοΈβΌοΈβΌοΈβΌοΈβΌοΈβΌοΈ) with a few hundred particles occupying the whole screen ... ouch.
