For both the beta and live philosophy event, I was also able to complete it in 2-3 days using just the ad based 4x boost, without darwinium nor clickers. The strategy I tried was to keep all generators at an equal production rate.

and working exactly like that

probably even faster cause i was afk for 12 hours in between

without clicking at all almost all upgrades with very few exceptions take exactly one hour of production to get on 4x boost

Rate of production is near whatever the goals are for generators, escalating from 2000 unit cost (eg spend 6B to get +3M) to 500k near endgame. I was quite surprised I finished. Maybe it was sheer luck stumbling into a sweet spot. Or reward for consistently watching ads from golden book.
