Correct. Yersina Pesti was the bacteria that caused the bubonic plague but it also had 2 different variations. The one that humanity suffered caused bubos from inflamed lymph nodes. The bacteria was transmitted by fleas carried by rodents.

Finished the event. Overall pretty good. The generators got really slow after Plague was unlocked. At another point I came back to the game and it seemed like a bunch of the missions were gone but I was able to finish no problem. Never found the secret trophy someone mentioned 😆. At the top, it says that activating charges increases your score. What does that mean? You don't directly get any points from activating charges. You get points only buy buying generators and research nodes.
Activating charges just makes you able to buy more generators and research nodes, so it's more of an indirect way to get points.
Every research node and generator gives you exactly 1 point.

I'm getting that 2X error in Bacteria now, and I feel like I can tell a difference on the game progress. Without the actual bonus afforded by that node, there seems to be a bit of a noticeable difference in how quickly the game can progress.

It's all good ... One of them was in the early beat testing of the Pollination event where there was an update after I finished the beta testing and the update/hot fix had me win the.last badge again. So, I did not lose anything but gained some. The other couple were when I transitioned from beta to public releases and I was in the middle of an event (purely my mistake as I did not have the auto update turned off). So, it does not bother me at all ....

I made a mistake and I own my mistakes 🙂

My immediate question, and I would.love to hear from the other beta testers, how the hell does one get into the top 10 ranks in this new leaderboard ... The more points I earn (and it plateaus out for me at around 4200 points - in the first version of the Outbreak event), the lower rank I end up with ..... The gap in the points that I have and the players who are in the top 10 is staggering .... Right now the leaderboard indicates that I will need another 1500 points to even break into the top 100!!!!

For me it is JWST, Pollination and Fungi ... The Pollination was the extra third badge (hot fix during beta testing) and the JWST and Fungi - had forgotten to turn auto update so could not finish the event.
