When people complete the event races, sometimes there will be a pie chart next to their name rather than a check mark. What is the difference between the checkmark and the pie chart:

That is because they are playing a different event (most likely in the production build). The number of steps vary between the games for completion ... The Visual Art requires 12/12 and I believe that the event in the production build uses 9/9 for completion. So, when they complete all the steps in their game, they get listed as "race completed" but since you are seeing it in the event that requires more steps, you just see that as a pie chart without the tick mark.

Wait until Friday. That's usually when new events on Beta releases show up. I would either tweak the event so that it can be completed in ~4 days or add 1-2 days to the event to allow for completion of the Visual Art event. Even with Time Fluxes, I only got 9/12 and I was #1 in my Race bracket.

Yes, @desert kiln is right. When you put a build into TestFlight it has an expiration date. After that date, you can't play that version any more. We release much more often than the default time, but if we wanted to 'cancel' a beta test, we could change that date.

There are two 🐞 known issues in this new area of the Civ tree. They will be fixed in the next beta, and there is no need to report them.
(1. There is a node near “University” that cannot be unlocked. This does not block progress.)
2. There is ‘Z-fighting’ on one of the new Logit Prizes which causes the ground to flicker in a portion of the garden on Android. This does not cause any further issues.

The score seems to be your total generators and upgrades. I bought an upgrade and it went up, I bought 100 of the cheapest generators and it went up by 100. That's a pretty bad way to set it up, in my opinion, total generators and not accounting for price, or for actual usefulness.

I like the upgrade quantity based scoring. It gives the low rank generators a new purpose at the end, adds a bit of farming game play after event completion, and there is a dopamine hit in rising a few hundred ranks from buying cheap generators in bulk.

That looks pretty recent, overall, but it definitely has a bug from 24_03 where HH 211 is locked so that you can only rotate in two axes.

There are many variables (without cheating) that make this possible for a minority of players. There was a time it was easier to earn metabits. The evolution of the game has created flaws and that is why the metabit production system was nerfed several months ago.

That's a neat approach. I wouldn't want to do just production level, because then it's just about who has the highest bonuses/has played the longest. But adding in time, change in production value over time (a sign of how hard/smart you're playing) ... multiple factors could be good. (I am not the decider on this. 😉 )

Only the Beyond is being reset, so purchases in the Primary Simulation should be fine. However, beta is beta. The chance that your save file will get eaten by a rogue 🐞 is higher than on production.

Generally, if you can keep track of multiple saves, I like to have one as my "clean, pure prod save" that's how I'm "really" doing in the game; I have another save file (in the save transfer system) that I use in beta and am ready to sacrifice. I'd make purchases on the production release, and only ever move files between prod->beta, not the other way around.

@sterile widget has it right. As we're working on new content, it's often easier to set up a whole bunch of things ahead of time, so that we can see whether it will work. Basically to sketch things out, like in a drawing.

However, just like in a sketch, sometimes we change direction and never use the piece that's in the code. Sometimes we re-use them, but change them. I recently saw someone try to "leak" something they found in the game files ... that was from an alternate form of Episode 19, so going on a year old, and it will never be released. And if you could see the keys that we use for translations in the Primary Simulation, some of the node keys aren't the final name of the node at all, because we decided to change the emphasis in the writing.

Sometimes we start to put something in the game, and then people get really excited about one of the ideas that didn't make the cut, and we see if we can slide them in somewhere.

There's just so, so many amazing things in the universe that we want to put in the game, and they don't all fit.

So it's fun (and useful!) to speculate on where things might be going. Just take them "with a grain of salt" ... the 'leaks', even if they are really from the game, may not be what we will ever release.

(And it's fun! I'll admit that if I ever got my hands on an early outline for Percy Jackson, I'd be pretty excited to show it, even if it is old.)

I think I'm one of the few people who remembers a feature we had. During the development of the beyond phase 1 itself I remember that we could use stardust to speed the astronomy missions for objects.

This was all in beta

yeah we thought about that as well, the problem is that discord only supports a very limited amount of values to be transfered

and we had no slots left for beta

which is indeed a skill issue on discords side

I feel like I remember that as I saw this as it took stardust And would speed it up for it. Not other missions like dark matter or dwarf stars. I just referring that the feature could to speed up the mission with stardust on Phobos, Mimas, Oberon, proteus, Proteus, Charon, other missions like that expected for phase 2 of course.
