But not EVERY civ generator needs one, in my experience events are slow, time-consuming, tedious, and once you've beaten them at least once, repetitive, combined this with the forced competition via research races and how long one needs to wait for the next event to come. It just seems to be not really a fun experience.

Also it still doesn't explain why they're adding darwinium prizes in a console specifically MEANT for logit prizes, it ruins the purpose of it since its no longer what it intends to be. Maybe If they implented a system in where each logit item can also be obtained via cubes it would work.

Also why is a feature like city view, which helps a player view the civ garden without tedious camerawork, locked behind logits? It's cheap, yeah, but it doesn't seem to be something worth of being locked behind logits, IMO all players should have free access to it.

Sorry if I seem grumpy in my rant, a bunch of stuff has happened to me IRL that has ruined my mood today.

Perhaps a more ideal system of events and artifacts would be increasing logit rewards and allowing players to continue at their own pace by 'replaying' completed events that'll give them logits (albeit at the cost of not being able to participate in research races and any uncompleted events)

Although this depends on whenever or not events require servers or something

However though maybe completed events can be 'saved' into the game so the player can complete it on their own time

I keep losing my constellation progress with each beta reset. Worse is that I don't get back the constellation fragments either. How do do all contend with this?

I usually save my constellation fragments until the episode goes public

I had a discussion about this with the devs sometime back. They indicated that it is by design that we lose the constellations and the constellation pieces with every reset. They will not change that as the constellation pieces are earned randomly and not as a part of a quest. And for Beta testing, it is OK if you lose it. If you want to have a stable run, then I have seen other players maintain two accounts - one for production runs and another for beat testing. You choose 🙂

As for me .. I just have one account where I test beta as well as play the production runs ... I keep losing the constellations with every reset and I do not mind 🙂

You can save your game progress to the cloud (game transfer feature) before downloading a new beta, and then download that save when you've installed the new beta. It kind of defeats the point of beta as you won't be replaying the new additions but you'll keep your previous progress

Attention Devs: one suggestion for the new event. Maybe you can look at creating groups for the art for the different ages. Finishing each group gets you a boost for that group (similar to the Apocalypse event where with each extinction you get a boost for the LUCA generator).

This will also help order the generators with increasing importance for each group ....

The current generator ordering seems a bit haphazard (I understand that it is a very early beta and work is being done to define it further, but thought of sharing my 2c).

Part of testing is reporting your observations if anything seems out of place. With no prior communication, a lack of rewards is different from pretty much every previous event, so it will feel out of place to most people, and so should be reported. In fact, the devs have attached an issue ID to one of the bug reports about the lack a of rewards, so it was probably a good thing that it is getting reported.
