I just tested Reforge recently, I can point out 2 major problem based on my personal experience. The first major problem is the lag, my fps often drop to 20 to 30 just by a few grphic frames, my phone never dropped that low in the current Blitz (no less than 50). Second is the matchmaking, it's not that serious tho but it often take over a minute to match, although the players in queue was over 200.

There are few things I also don't like abot Reforge but they don't matter that much, everything else are alright.

afaik, WG hasn't had a credits -> gold offer in recent years. If ever. It's always gold -> credits. That should be a big help to some f2p who have a lot of credits but not much gold.

This newest reforged update is bad. Like, really bad. The previous one was much better. Clunkier, harder to navigate…I logged in to try and get 30 battles for the set unlock thing. I spent 45 minutes on the client, and I actually got into 1 game. That’s pathetic. I just closed it, deleted it off my iPad, and played War Thunder. No problem getting into a game, superior gameplay, much better interface design, overall simply a much better game. I have over a decade playing WOT Blitz, if it stays the way it is, C YA. Everyone I know is saying the same thing. Fix it.

The Ru-251 is definitely more competitive than the M41 90. It is much smaller in size, has better AP damage per minute (which means more reliable damage output) and can even reach higher speeds. The M41 90, however, makes credits and is very fun to play regardless of how good the Ru is. In my personal opinion, it's more comparable to a T49 with a 90mm gun, which isn't great but not terrible. Plus you have HEP, which has higher DPM than the Ru's HEP and 320 average damage every 5 and a half seconds.

As for the Progetto vs Pantera debate, it's very much the same but with a different style of tanks. The Pantera wins almost immediately because it completely outclasses the Progetto in penetration and pure DPM. The only things the Progetto gains is traverse, aim time, and a smaller profile. That's not necessarily a good trade as being able to apply your damage is the first step in any engagement. However, given that the Progetto has an extra degree of gun depression and a turret that has yet to be tested, we may see them equal each other out as people have gotten a chance to play the tank.

Progetto 46? Some kind of Ru 251, but much slower, same easily penetrable, much less DPM, worse camo, slightly better armor which is not able to stop any regular AP shell. Disappointment. Tragedy. Don't buy.

@tawny finch yeah... no it isn't. The stats are deceptive, the progetto is better in every way that matters. More gun depression, better aimtime, better dpm - this is an important one. The 2k dpm stat you're seeing on it is when it is fully loaded and is only firing the first shell. This takes 2.5s for the intraclip, then 5s to reload, I.e. one shot every 7.5s, which sucks. However, when you're empty, that reload is 6.3s... giving it over 2280 dpm when empty, which is ordinary t8 medium dpm, and don't forget thats after you already unloaded. In practice, the dpm on this thing is great.
The 2.5s intraclip is much nicer than 3s, and it does have noticably higher alpha - especially when you max roll for 300.
The pen everyone seems to be marking out as bad, it's better than the russians/Chinese meds, and the gun handling is really nice, there is no issue here. The apcr is the same as you get on the pantera, too.
The lower profile is much nicer than the pantera, the armour doesn't matter at all because you shouldn't be taking hits in it. It still gets the occasional troll bounce.
Also, what are all these complaints about the mobility??? It's got great mobility, sure, slightly worse than the pantera, but who cares, it does the job just fine.

Progetto 46 is good tank. But it is just good (or fine - whatever u prefer). Nothing more. It is just a less effective hybrid of Ru251 and Pantera. Slower than both of them, what seems huuuge disadvantage for me. Lower pene, lower DPM than both of them.

Not comparing to chinese or any other tier 8 vehicle, they are too far away. Comparing just to Ru and Pantera. And it is worse then both of them. This tank is unique by its' mediocrity. That's all.

@Jan_Jirka_cz no, you're missing what makes this tank strong that the other 2 don't have, and that's unparalleled flexibility. You can load up a full clip and be the most dangerous autoloader in the tier bar the Lorraine (which has a huge reload after it), fire through all of your shots, then keep firing with decent dpm. You try that in the pantera, and not only does it take an extra second to unload all 3 shots, but after that it is sitting on a 6.7s reload for 225 alpha, which is awful. The progetto is a true damage machine, it butchers other mediums and light tanks (it struggles more with the heavies, but that's what aiming/apcr is for)
Comparing to Chinese and russian meds was to point out that the pen isn't that bad at all, it works perfectly fine. It has the exact same pen as the RU, and it has better gun handling.
And again, the mobility is fine, 55kph is great, and it gets there. It's no RU, but the tanks are very different.
The benefit of the autoreloader is that for short engagements, this thing has dpm on par with even the RU, let me illustrate (assuming CS on the RU here)
0s - both tanks fire
2.5s progetto again
5s progetto fires again (3 into 1 at this point, this is more than half a full RU's HP)
5.25s RU fires
10.5s RU fires again (now 3 into 3)
11.3s progetto fires again (4 into 3)
That's 960 damage into the RU in 11.3s, there is a good chance the RU will die from this, realistically most tanks you face don't have more than 2/3 of their HP left if they get into a position to do a dpm trade like this (if you're playing properly)
The progetto benefits from almost any situation you put it in: if it's taking on large alpha targets that aren't exposing themselves much, you recharge multiple shots and can burst them when they do poke, and if they push you, you can just unload and burn them down in seconds.

Seriously though, it comes down to this: most engagements in the game don't last all that long, you're realistically never gonna be firing on the reload for a whole minute straight, so the effective dpm of every tank in the game is lower that what the stats might tell you (and the higher your rof, the more exposure you need to give that dpm, too)
So the progetto is able to have massive dpm over short stretches, but not suffering any of the penalities of regular autoloaders that you'd just push on if you saw they unloaded - it still has as much dpm as most other tier 8 meds (unlike the pantera)
So don't go saying it's 'way worse' than the pantera, it most certainly isn't!

After 40 or so games in the Progetto 46, I can definitely say that the Pantera is much more comfortable to play. The gun on the Progetto just isn't nearly as reliable as the Pantera's due to roughly 30mm of pen missing. The damage output in theory is definitely very good, but it's very much hampered by the fact that your shots arent nearly as effective with 189mm of pen. You often have to switch to APCR to even do damage against a good amount of tier 8 tanks (ie IS-5 and IS-3 sides and German heavies). Call that balanced, but plenty of other mediums dont need to do that.

Am I saying that the Progetto is weak? No. It certainly can get the job done. I just think it could use a pen buff (maybe 198mm with cali shells?).

Plenty of meds have 180mm of pen, and it’s supposed to be a trade off as you get 240 alpha. Personally, I find the Progetto 46 to be way more comfortable than the Pantera. It’s sleek, low profile, it has more gun depression, and the major plus is the 2.5 intra clip with the faster aim time. Honestly, all the Pantera has is a higher pen AP shell with less damage, 5 kph more for top speed, and a 3.1-3.5 second reload for the first and second shells

The aimtime is glorious, and the extra gun depression really matters. It also unloads much faster, and has the same prammo pen too, 189 really does do the job fine.
What seems crazy to me is that it has 2.3k Dpm when empty, same as most meds, meaning you can unload and then absolutely burn through other meds and lights like no tier 8 in the game.

When you think about it the progetto has everything you'd ever want in a medium tank: burst potential, unload speed, dpm, great gun handling overall, great mobility, great gun depression (and elevation), above average alpha, good enough pen, great apcr pen, low profile, doesn't need to reload whole clip like the autoloaders, reloads faster overall when clip is empty unlike pantera where it reloads 0.5s quicker with 2 shells left than with none. It has no armour, but that's easily manageable with the mobility, and you'll still get a few troll bounces (and you mince t49s which is especially nice)
If they buff it it'll be very op, mark my words

Actually that's why tier 10 isn't a good choice for grind, and btw, prammo like HEAT aren't the best choice to use all the battle

I think the HEAT is the best type of ammo (in my opinion, I love it), but there is a lot of problems on it

-the shell is Super slow
-explodes with contacts if props like fences and wood
-the penetration becomes really lower when hit spaced armor
-make a lower dmg than APCR and AP

And APCR is just an AP, but with lower dmg and higher pen

I've been encountering a major bug for this game sometime now.

Whenever I update, or try to reinstall Blitz, the app will download, try to install, and then the app icon goes dark. This means I have to try to reinstall the app, and the success rate of actually working is very low.

I just tried updating right now, for example, and it happened. Now I'm having to "re-update/reinstall" and can only hope it works. This bug has been happening to me since around the October update, and still occurs even after a restore on my iPhone I just did yesterday.

I'm running on an iPhone 6 Plus on latest software.

This bug has to be fixed, because I can't even play.

Hmm. With new US lights now dominating the Tier 9/10 I decided to abandon my beloved AMX line, including BC. They are just too fragile. And can't keep up on firepower. I truly believe that WG didn't foresee the total devastation of original 'indigenous wildlife' after introduction of such OP pests. The closest analogue is Dracula at T7 - but far less as It is hard to get. ... Sometimes team effort hunts down these pesky rats. But it requires coordination- which is MM based, and relies too much on your team's lights. Therefore, these lights now pretty much carry entire teams. Only some other tanks can stand up against. Either quick firing, relatively fast meds like Stamdard B, T54 - but not AMX. Look at T9/10 team set ups now: some derpy TDs, some balanced meds to chase - and majority of new lights. Which carry the total outcome. The diversity is indeed under threat - as only few, quite limited options/ lines now good at battlefield.

I love how people are complaining that Wargaming is giving out free stuff. Your massive ego and sense of entitlement isn't going to pay their bills, cash will.

Not to mention that this event isn't unrealistically hard. 64 wins a day at a 60% winrate means about 107 battles a day, less if you're a great player and platoon. Assuming an average battle length of 4 minutes that's 428 minutes, meaning 7 hours a day (since i rounded during calcualations) for a nice tier 8 premium tank.

If you want the tier 6 then you need to spend about 348 minutes (5 hours 48 min) a day, assuming same stats as previous calculation.

This event is completely doable for those who are willing to dedicate time to get it. If you don't want to put in the work then you don't get a free tank, plain and simple. Even if you don't want to invest that time you still can get a huge discount on those tanks, and just gold your way through the rest.

I would like to share my opinion about the update 6.7, T92-E1 and Sheridan, and i do hope i won't offense anyone here, please do not forget that english is not my mother tongue and that this is just an opinion.

I really love the T92-E1, it is much better imo than the Sheridan because of the troll bounces you can get over hills. But I don't think that those tanks are OP or broken or whatever...
MM are crap by these days, with too many 40% players at high tiers, and offently i see 2 or 3 players with 0 damage at the end of the game. I say this to let ppl take in consideration that Missiles don't make you win or loose a game more than non-skilled players.
I really don't shoot missiles offently: it depends on the opportunity imo, i fire much more HEs than Missiles in both tanks. If you have the opportunity then use it ! If you don't have the opportunity to shoot, there is 2 solutions: you are good enough to relocate (you know where to go, how, etc...) to get more shots (missiles or not) OR you aren't good enough and will not help your team and be rekt...

In my opinion, missiles are not really really affecting the game. I mean if you want to seal club, than, time to play tier 9 with a good tank and get wins ! The bad players and the players who just don't want to learn and make any progress are far far far more annoying to me ! 1 year ago a good player could manage to win a game by his own, and he could get a better influence into a game than by those days in my opinion.

Any tank can be OP in the right hands... I see too many people complaining about missiles, just because they don't want to know how to deal with them, how to evade, etc... At this moment i would like to ask why not putting back the specific tanks such as T82 (with the derp gun) in tech tree to help players try to play other gameplays ? You won't play VK100.01P as you will play Ru251, and you don't play Ru251 the same way you will play an ISU152...

I do like the new lights because missiles are adding something new in the gameplay, and players have to adapt. But that requires skills and patience, and it is hard to get them. I want to see more "specific gameplay " tanks like those 2 lights.
WG considers to add missiles to Kpz70... Why not ? I would rather love to see strong HE dmg for this tank instead of missiles, but why not ?

There will always be good players making good things in specific tanks, but we should give WG more time to study about how missiles can affect the game before thinking about nerf or whatever.
I would like to credit you, WG because you continue to think about new things to put in blitz. Anyway to see one day a Panhard EBR in Blitz ??

On Russian stream (22.1. 2020) one of the developers said that after the Japanese TDs next researchable tanks will be British. They also mention that those tanks AREN'T in the PC version of WoT. Just did the math, 60wr player without buying any lunar containers would have to grind 4hrs everyday for 7days to get the t-34-3, why not make an event grindy? Make it challenging, grinding =/= challenging, its just time consuming.

One of my most favorite events looking back was the free m6 exp event where you would play 50 battles and like you had to have 2000 average damage in order to get the tank, after 50 battles - no more chances to get the tank.

The 107mm on the T-150 is only slightly more accurate than the 122mm on the KV-1S and has moderately worse dispersion when moving and turning the turret though, and in my experience it is very hard to effectively trade shots with experienced players because they will always wait for you to expose your upper plate or cupola before firing, and the very low dpm and inaccuracy makes average damage per battle very low

You can expect a lot of your teammates at that tier to perform poorly so the bad average damage is even worse at that tier because it limits your capacity to carry, and the great side armor is only competitively viable with a platoonmate that uses a tank with good turret armor such as the vk 36.01 or kuro

Just created a new account and went on to proceed through the Proving Grounds tutorial when suddenly the game just crashed.

The map/battle never even loaded, and now I've tried relaunching the app dozens of times, and when the game proceeds to load the proving grounds, the game just crashes. I even tried removing apps from the background and turn off anything that takes memory (assuming this is a performance issue) of the phone, like Siri, location services, background refresh and more, yet, to no avail.

This is a major bug, that's literally a game breaker for new players and alike. It's impossible to enter the game.

I'm running on the iPhone 6 Plus iOS 12.4.4. I'm not low on space or anything (over 30GB+ available), had restored my iPhone just a few weeks ago (so any software problems shouldn't be an issue), and just reinstalled Blitz since this latest update came out.

At first I thought it might had to be specific to the tank I chose whoch was the M2 Light, but after the proving ground session timed out from the server, I was able to re-select a tank, which I did different from the M2 Light (aka the European one) and the issue still persisted.

@mint hound I would but on my device re-installing Blitz is very buggy and has a very low success rate of reinstalling, so I'm keen on keeping Blitz installed as I do now.

Plus, dealing with other Blitz bugs in the past, I'm very certain this is not a fixable bug in terms of simply reinstalling, but one that must be fixed exclusively.

I did miss the chance in the Twister live stream to ask the boss, but it still bothers me, military honor, it is like in a Waldorf school. clap the alphabet and dance your name, but you cant criticise more than a few times. If you play more than 2 battles, it sucks.

Usually the negatives are just enough for three or four battles, im not talking about rage-downvoting anybody in ur team just downvoting people who were afk/ blocking teammates/spamming on the chat. There is an afk atleast in one of the teams each battle + i ll usually meet someone doing sth from above so it lasts for sometimes one battle

3 new smaller maps designed for 5v5 gameplay (every update or two, add one more)
No premium or collector tanks allowed
Tier 8 and 10 only
Each match only has one tier

Rewards:
Diamond league- dedicated tier x reward tank
Platinum league- t-44-100
Gold league- credits/boosters maybe premium
Silver league- credits/boosters
Bronze league- credits
Permanent avatars but they are dated by the month you earned them

Ratings as a game mode has to be something completely different to pubs. It has to stand out and be special

The rewards also need to be something other than a really small amount of gold. No veteran to this game is all that excited about just a currency

@rustic lintel I really like that idea. I just think that tier 8 should probably only be able to get up to tier 8 rewards. In other words:
Diamond League - T-44-100
Platinum League - Rudy
Gold League - AC 4 Sentinel (Pz 4 S is too good to have it running around)
Silver League - T-25
Bronze League - 300,000 credits

The tier 10 rewards would be great too if people were to play in tier 10.

Edit: Basically, if you wanted tier 10 rewards, you'd have to calibrate into tier 10 and play from there.

No. I earned my is-6 fearless in clan wars 2 on na and wg turned around and “accidentally” sold it for $75. There were 83 originally. Now there are hundreds. This was 4 years ago and I’m still annoyed @minor stump

if you’re earning points on a loss, the loss is definitely not your fault. i have no issue with this. coming in with top damage isn’t even enough to gain points, you gotta be putting very big numbers to gain any points
