Elites aim around the shield (at head) and it's by design. But only happens if you are too close to them.

Tldr: deflector shield is very touchy and requires a sweet spot of range and use. But can be very good with practice.

I saved exotic caches the last couple weeks and had 10. Got all my exotics from the season and then opened them all up got capacitor and waveform. It was a little better roll but at least I have a 2nd for my alt. No Scorpio though.

Ok so for getting the Nemesis, you have 2 options, either follow a crafting quest (look on YouTube for a tutorial) or you farm marksmanrifle targeted loot. For Mantis, you can ONLY farm marksman targeted loot, there is no crafting quest. As for which is better, it is up to you but most would say that the Nemesis is better due to its ability to charge up and fire a devastating shot. Mantis is good for PvE with decoy due to its ability to reset the cool down of your decoy as well as the extra headshot dmg. But again, most use the Nemesis because it is very good in PvE and PvP. @short spade

Nemesis is one of the OG 'Quest' Exotics, so they have to do at least enough to get the Recipe to craft it from Puck in Grand Washington Hotel when its Invaded. Then it'll drop in targeted loot and caches. Same thing goes for things like Diamondback, Chatterbox, Ridgeway's Chest, Liberty, and Dodge City Gunslinger

If you have the year 1 pass, it gives you access to Gunner, Firewall, and Technician as soon as you can use specializations.

optimization works as the first one you do takes u up to the next tier on that particular stat (at a reduced cost porportinal to the normal cost)

Example, if you had 3 weapons, One had a 88% Roll, one had a 84% Roll and One has a 80% Stat Roll. All 3 would take you up to the 90% Roll (Tier 9) on the first optimize. The 88% roll will cost substantially less since its only only up by 2% while the 84 will cost more since it needsd to go up 6% and the 80% is the full price to go from Tier 8 to Tier 9

the option of farming it the normal way is still there

its there to be a little RNG removal so your time isn't completely wasted when you actually farm for god rolled items. Now you actually make a little progress even if RNG doesn't favor you with god drops

and you get plenty of materials via the other means as well. Summit Caches give materials, the upcoming global even will have optimization caches for sale for stars. Theres ways of getting materials

you can even use Scav points on them

The issue @pulsar bison that many of us players have is that the amounts to optimize are a joke, they are too much.
HAD it been in since the start, with no limits (so not 1000) then it would be fine, because those players who are loyal to the game and farmed their heads off etc can do whatever they want.
These genius devs put in these stupid limits (1000 here, 20 there etc) so now we do 1 or 2 optimizations and it's back for farming for a week to change 1 stat.
Remove the limits for one, drop the stupid amounts needed and let us vets do what we want with our items.
I've collected so many 'near' perfect items that i wanted to calibrate - seeing what they did with the optimization station has basically made it useless to me.

There are only 26 stats in the game, 4 of which you take off for recalibration leaving 22 stats to optimize at max. once you are fully maxxed out, your done. Ilve already personally optimized 3 stats now in the weekish its been out. This isn't div1's optimization station. We still have at least probably a year of stuff comgin out for year 3 so the station will be there for a long time. This isn't oh new game coming, enjoy your max gear for free like Div1's was

Using the optimization table for .5 on any piece won't make a difference at all in how that piece handles or works. Always gonna be better to farm one God piece than 1000s of pieces to optimize it

being maxed out isn't even required for ANY part of the game. The content has been fully cleared with no where close to maxxed out requirements needed

i dont mean to ever come out harsh but its just so annoying with self entitlement and special snowflakes destroying the more hardcore parts of games. Like games can't even cater to the super hardcore anymore, those that want and need max stats to stand a hope of a chance against the hardest of content. The unskilled and bads just roll in, whine so hard that devs have to listen to them and nerf teh content to where its accessable to the bad players (who still keep trying to get it more nerfed)

im personally confused over the whole weave/alloy cost being the compalint, its not even the slowest part of optimizing. Its slow at first but since the collection of the parts are disversived, the slowest part of optimizing switches to the SHD and Field Data since they are used in ALL optimizations whereas Weave/Alloy is only used on a single type.

when you get to 400 of one, you are pretty much like at 200-300 of every other type

and the conversions are still there for shortfalls later on

#

im at the point where weaves/alloys arn't the problem, its the SHD/field ones, even teh assessments even out after some time where its not them since again only 1 of the types is used at a time depending on the part.

It seems to many have taken a break from Division 2 because I struggle to get players to play with when doing matchmaking.

Suggestion to DEV's: What about a indication which missions are popular at any given point in time... So, a GREEN star (or whatever) - that means the mission is being played by many players (for whatever reason)
Red stars mean minimal activity and blue or whatever colour means that are some or medium activity.

Yeap, maybe so... but I'm at a point where playing alone kills it for me - besides wanting the missions to be harder, more loot drops with more players... so if I'm going to do a mission alone then I don't bother.

I dunno how you can say it's popular, I'm part of many discords and most are dead, nothing happening, I see alot of "Playing Cyberpunk 2077" ya... but not division anymore, which explains why when I matchmake, I basically do many missions alone.

I have noticed there's a bug lately where after I activate matchmaking, it sets my Group back to private.

Pick any Targeted Loot that has an Exotic that can drop and hope you get lucky with drops I guess. I wouldn't worry too much yet, before long you'll cap out on rolls and have excess laying around.

In case you haven't sold it yet, don't sell that stuff. It has 2 uses.
Certain Projects require it.
You can give it to specific NPC's out in the world and you get a random item back.

Yeah, I’ve done that. I have 4/5 pieces including the ones from floors 1-10, 21-50, 51-80, and 81-100. Just I can’t get the shoulders from the floor 13, 16 and 19 crates. I just can’t get the shoulders no matter how much I try.

It's just pure RNG. You only get 6 chances before you have to reset it, so might be worth doing a few more and you might get lucky. Make sure you're always getting every crate you can.

You have to unlock the craftable exotic (in this case nemesis) for the loot pool 1st (must own the blueprint) for it to enter your exotic loot pool.

Exotics caches drop any exotic that is in the players loot pool

Can be any difficulty (except story). Make sure you are playing the correct mission setting (must be the manhunt mission, and not the standard mission) Select mission > toggle to manhunt viva hotkeys shown at bottom.

What is up with the System Corruption gear set? Extremely hard to find now that the green gear sets have been individually dispersed throughout the game. Some of those sets cannot be crafted. Also have heard that it is now DZ exclusive, is this true? Oh Ridgeways is an Exotic Chestpiece you can get from collecting 1 piece from every 20 floors of the Summit Key Crates.

After that fire the flare at the end and then you get the Project.

Piece one is 0120, piece 2 is 2140, you can guess where each piece drops from the name lol.

Charles Douglas is invisible
I am on a mission where i need to recruit an in-game character called "Charles Douglas" and the way i can recruit him is by doing a mission. So i finished the mission and i go to the marker on the map where i have to talk to him and he is not there. I'm right on the marker but he is invisible or something, i cannot interact with him at all.

Things I've tried to do:
Replayed the mission: 2 x story , 1 x normal Difficulty
Restarted the game

Go to your Crafting Table and select "reconfigure" for the Capacitor. It randomly re-rolls the %'s. Yes it can roll them worse.
The other option is to use your Optimisation Table to buff up the stats a little bit at a time.
