What you can try to do is get someone to carry you through them, but it has to be done in your session, not theirs. Meaning you have to invite them to your group and into your open world specifically.

Though I'll be honest, not sure how that will work out. I've never done it that way myself.

You make a new character and it'll ask you on the selection screen.

If you pick the main campaign you'll start from Lv. 1. Pick Warlords of New York and you start from Lv. 30. Pick Battle for Brooklyn and you start already maxed at Lv. 40.

You just need to own the actual DLC.

If there's a way to boost without making a new character I wouldn't know it.

Well, generally you need all the Red Core attributes you can get. There's different ways to do it though. You have Hotshot Builds, Striker Builds, Eclipse Protocol Builds, Ongoing Directive Builds, Negotiator's Dilemma Builds. I mean... what exactly do you mean by the question?

Really? How so? I think the enemy veterancy is varied enough to balance it out. There's plenty of Reds and Purples that will still absolutely wreck your shit if you're not paying attention.

I mean, yeah for certain things like CD and Retal where the majority is Elites I can see your point. But I would say just adjust those modes instead.

That's a fair assessment, but I would argue that's more a problem of poor enemy variety vs an attribute that just exists to tackle a very specific problem.

I would say that content would need to be adjusted accordingly as opposed to PfE being the sole problem.

I also don't think just making every enemy an Elite is a good way of increasing difficulty, especially because of PfE. And even if PfE wasn't a thing, the "Just make every NPC a higher rank" is a lazy way to make the game more difficult, imo.

Almost all your damage is coming from your primaries, not the spec weapons. And in fact, you deal much, much less damage to named enemies with them.

I mean... you'll need all of those attributes. You can't really afford to relax with those. The bright side is that all the rolls don't need to be maxed out. You can slowly upgrade them over time through the optimization bench.

A synergized build with attributes that work off each other is always better than a build with random attributes all maxed out.

You actually don't have to worry too much about that. Gear in this game is coded to always drop with the Core Attribute specific to that brand/gear set. With the minor attributes having a higher chance to roll in the same class.

For example: Striker always drops with Red Core attributes of weapon damage. ALWAYS. That never changes. The minor attributes for striker ALWAYS have higher chance of being CHC, CHD, HSD, or WH. They can roll with blue attributes or yellow attributes too, but it's much more uncommon.

Trust me, it's not as bad as it seems. There ARE some unicorn items that are very hard to farm but those are seldom necessary.

If you mean the pattern, exactly, then no. Nothing with that pattern exists that can be applied to gear afaik.

Some dyes can match the color scheme, but that specific pattern isn't a thing, if I'm not mistaken. It's unique the mask only.

That one in the picture get's pretty close, I think, without using any gear dyes and just appearance mods.

Nah, there's more. Esc > Store > Apparel Tab > Outfits. Some outfits on the list to the left have chest vanity items.

A lot of chest vanity items though are also rewards from past events and/or rotated from the store from time to time. I've got 25 of them myself. So there isn't a lot to begin with.

The vanity slots for gloves, chests, and backpacks have been around for a while, but only recently in the game's lifespan have we actually a lot more apparel focused stuff instead of just gear apperance mods. And vanity slots for Kneepads and Holsters is actually quite new. Those weren't a thing before the Anubis bundle I don't think, but not 100% sure.

In fact, vanity items used to just be combined with gear appearance mods. They only separated them into actual vanity slots like a year or two ago, iirc.

No, that would go against the looter shooter philosophy the devs built this game on. You get one freebie and that's it. Any more and the grind is effectively dead.

You can keep recalibrating the same attribute or swap out talents, but you're locked to that attribute/talent slot.

The higher the difficulty, the better the quality of the gear. Challenging is the most efficient method in relation to time spent, but Heroic has better rolls on average. Also the amount of loot this game thrown at your feet is nuts. Grind Countdown for a day and you'll have it easily.

It took me over a year to get a Hana u chest with skill dmg and kinetic so I can switch my second attribute to skill haste … only for impetus to come out a month later .. rng is crazy

You don't need to get it "maxed" by the way. You can always optimize stats yourself and slowly crawl them up. It's expensive resource wise though, so only use the system for gear that's almost maxed, like a chest have 9% CHD or 4.5% CHC.

Select an attribute to optimize and make sure you have the resources to actually do it. Check bottom right of image for reference.

It can't be the same slot you recalibrated though.

Recalibration is cheaper because you can always get a maxed attribute from a drop, extract it to the library, and reuse it countless times.

So in that sense, if you get, for example, a chest with max Crit Chance, you can extract that to the library and boom. You'll always have max crit chance available to recalibrate on chests.

Or maybe checkpoints is the wrong word. "Segments" is better.

Yeah, the amount of resources you need increases each time. That's why ideally you only use Optimization for items/rolls that are nearly maxed. The general rule of thumb is that if you need to do it more than 3 times, it's usually not worth it.

The resources for the amount you gain scales a bit though, so it won't be as much for small increments like that one.

Technically, no. Infinite scrolling isn't considered a macro, since you still have to manually use it.

A macro would be more like "Press x key to repeat x action until x result happens."

Infinite scrolling on its own causes no issues, I've used it before on multiple mice from different brands, including the Razer Basilisk V3 Pro 35K. The game just reads it as a normal input being spammed to hell.

Think of it like holding down M1 when you fire your gun.

That's all it is.

A macro would be if you did something like customize your mouse so that if x button is pressed, cursor stays locked to center of screen. And theoretically that would make it so that you never missed shots from recoil as long as you're aiming directly at the enemy.

Now that would be problematic, I would think.

Coyotes won't take you over 60%. There was an overdrive event that finished I think a few hours ago that pushed past the 60% cap but nothing else will.

You have to have items marked as junk to donate them. If an item or brand or gearset doesn't dissappear it means that it is already Proficient and doesn't accept any more donations as it can now recieve Expertise levels.

I usually find him by the National Bond Armory if you go up the stairs to your right when you spawn there

Use one of the online maps to see his various spawn points. He has a high chance to spawn when you approach one, if he doesn't you can simply check a different one or log off and on and try the same one again. If you accidentally already spawned him somewhere without noticing, he'll go on a 30m cooldown before he can respawn anywhere else.

In the past, scavenging points were per character but expertise and materials were shared between all characters (still is for the latter two), so people could just create new characters, get their watch, spend scavenging points, invest in expertise and delete the character

But now scavenging points are account-wide since BfB so you can't do that anymore

and to compensate for that. you spend your scavenging points multiplied by 3. which you'll eventually run out and be wanting that next shd level quickly

Event pass is just for cosmetics and extra stuff, completely depends on you. Now, if you got 500 more credits, you could get 50 more stash space from the deluxe event pass

It's possible you bought the "shared blueprints" thing, so you'll have to farm out a Cpacacitor the TL way.

I'm a bit Rusty with low level game details: you get the level 35 Capacitor, does it give the reconfigure blueprint? If so, can't you upgrade/reconfigure it to 40?

no, the reconfigure was for level 30 capacitor edit: (to change it to level 40) and level 40 to change the 3rd talent
