Is it normal that the Centurion holster reloads your weapon just by switching away from and then back to your primary weapon?

And even if you didn’t actually use any ammo, it still consumes 100 reserve rounds when it reloads/switches?

Basically, the Centurion holster’s second bonus is useless (the full buff icon).

You’re better off just using the first bonus on your main weapon instead — the fire rate and damage buff (the empty buff icon).

You do not need that AR. Farm a Police M4. The Lexington is basically a named Police M4 with a diff. skin and additional 5% base damage

It is usually part of the stretch goals loot pool and very likely will be part of other special events again too

The legacy menu only exist to facilitate fast travel to those legacy manhunts.

you can get dttooc and still reach 100% stability, you just need stability/handling mods on the gun and weapon handling on your gear

if you're not aware, handling gives stability alongside accuracy, swap speed and reload speed

Matchmaking for Countdown at Challenging difficulty would overall be the fastest, but Retaliation is a good way if you're more of a solo player.
Summit's only really best if you want to stack close to 10 Directives up, and then farm boss floors, which is....honestly just kinda dull.

(matchmaking for Retaliation is coming next Season, but right now you can find a hand down in #lfg-pc )

Control Point XP Farming

Please read me! Full Guide

This method is used to maximise XP Farming for those who want to level up quickly once they're lvl40. This method doesn't involve any exploits whatsoever.
Farming Control Points will also grant you 1 blueprint per completion if you don't have them yet.

Please feel free to ask if you have any questions although the Google Document might already have the answers, plus containing the builds that are recommended.

FAQ:

1. Why is CP Farming better than doing Public Executions, Territory Controls or Propaganda Broadcasts?
   A - It's simple. With CP's you have a set route whilst other activities sometimes have random spawn locations which increases your travel time.

2. Which build should I run?
   A - Rifle One-Shot is preferred, but you can use whatever build fits your play style.

3. If it's better than activities, how much XP does this give?
   A - 30lvls per hour if done in under 3 minutes.

Math sections have been moved to the Google Document to prevent text walls.

You can't. Gear drops at fixed levels. The only way to "upgrade" is to get a Lv. 40 one to drop.

I honestly would suggest joining a clan, even if you're a solo player like I am.
that Clan Vendor can sometimes have Yaahl bits in it, which are usually DZ locked.

The benefits are essentially just three different hats that you get as the clan levels up.

Some weekly caches based on the Clan's level/performance

And a Clan Vendor that you can only access by being in a clan. Sometimes he stocks decent stuff other times it's as useless as what you find elsewhere in other vendors.

If none of this excites you, then odds are you really don't need to be in one unless you're super into being a part of a community.

trap is from the pathway park mission, you should be able to just pick it up from the ground when you beat the final boss, like the other WONY skills - did you maybe forget to pick it up? Try rerunning the mission on Story difficulty and see if it lets you grab it.

The real play is augments, not your attributes. There's no point in having them maxed on everything.

Best 3rd attribute is usually DTOC. Just farm until you either get a god roll (all sought after attributes, ideally as high as possible) so you can change the talent or you find one that has the matching talent and you can roll stock as 3rd attribute. Rolls filled around 75% are worth keeping and can be optimized

starter guide likely refers to a striker build so your cores are preset (AR dmg, SMG dmg, LMG dmg and secondary whatever's tied to them) based on the weapon

I think it's something to do with the fact those two missions are standalone missions, where the rest of the manhunt missions are all alternate versions of base game missions, that confuses the system - everyone reports they either get stuck on 'incomplete' or 'locked'

Hello all, I'm at my wits end here and was hoping someone might know something.

Every time I try to launch the game, it crashes immediately on splash screen or flat out blue screens my PC. I have tried every fix i can find and nothing seems to work. I used to play years ago on my old pc and now i cant play on my new pc. I'm running a 4090, i9-13900k, 64gb ram. I can play any game without any issues on max. But after reinstalling D2 to try out realism mode and return to the game, I can't even get into the title screen. All my drivers are updated. Bios is updated. I've tried launching as admin on everything. I tried launching with windows defender off. I deleted all my D2 files from my documents folder. I redownloaded the game to my C drive. Still nothing works. If anyone can help me out I'd greatly appreciate it. Otherwise I guess I'm never playing this game again. The constant Blue screens already gave me a boot issue earlier today that i was able to fix thank god.

13th and 14th gen Intel processors came with factory issues, it often gets solved by updating something in the BIOS. YouTube will explain it better

I got a question about some higher difficulty missions and the manhunts. I've been playing for about a week and a half now and I'm trying to do a manhunt on heroic but I also can clear some other missions on heroic as well with my current build. When I die and wipe in the mission it sends me back to the very start. Is that intended or is this a bug? Last case of this happening was just now, I was doing the Schaeffer manhunt and died to the Hunter almost immediately and then it sent me back to the arcade.
