well yes and not, if you want ot upgrade an item, you have to go expertise menu and select the item and upgrade it

to donate as junk you are in the right place

it wont donate things that already have max proficiency, such as your striker gear set

upgrades are by piece, proficiency by category

actually you can; sometimes if you stay hidden from the hunter, he eventually drops down from wherever he's watching you. If you foam or shock then you'll have maybe 10 seconds to kill it. It's tough to do though, I only managed to kill 2 of these hunters this way. They don't drop any special loot which is disappointing

Yeah The little progress bar fills up for whatever reason when you complete any from a different journey level. That got me last season.

But if you don't care about that it's not too important imo, the exotic mask is interesting (but bugged currently), and the "secret" gun for doing the new hunters isn't really my jam, but your mileage may vary

It's not necessarily only for PvP. I've seen players run an all red Coyote mask, crit build with perfect unbreakable for PvP

You need mortar in your life. I have a variant in the spreadsheet (btsu/pca) that is a highly active version. Its strong solo and also has built in team support when grouped. Requires you to maintain talent buffs while also managing overcharge and minimizing exposure.

Reconstructed Caches give you a bunch of named blueprints, might include exotic blueprint or even older ones from what I read.. like Palisade that is not obtainable anymore.. there's a quite a few named ones. Reconstructed Caches are purchasable for Descent credits with Wally in Castle settlement, but we had Game pass event that was dropping reconstructed caches up until shephard rank 6.. so we got some blueprints that way.. the rest of them are from CPs. I would say farm CPs until you get all of the one obtainable from that.. then try to do Descent or there might be events again that reward them in the future.

Yeah he'll likely need to do it again in his own world.
For ridgeway, if you completed the invaded stronghold, you should be able to run it again non-invaded (you might need to 'toggle mission mode' if it's stuck on invaded mode). You can rerun the same as any mission, by opening the mission options and picking a difficulty.

the notifciation was probably because you managed to copmlete an objective in the ones you've previously completed (they don't stop working because you claimed the reward for that level) so again check the 1-3 or 5th journey to see what you didn't complete when you claimed the rewards and you'll connect the dots eventually

depends...if it's just exotic components you need, then summit can be more efficient. Also if in the open world the loot target for an area happens to be for ar's and the enemy faction is Black Tusk, then farming bounties in that area usually drops chameleon more frequently.

If looking for a specific exotic, then countdown or summit are the most efficient ways. Which you go with is a matter of preference
