Yeah, those damn helmets. Eugh. I avoid true sons and hyenas and go outcasts. My favorite cp is the one with the ruined building where there's 3 levels. Hit them when they pile out of the window spawns, then when you call for backup, you can spawn kill them as they drop from the balcony. I can clear that in not even 3 minutes lol

During the event I'd spam my dragunov and clear it so fast 🤣

Freeing the hostages is much faster way to rack up xp. Takes less than a minute for heroic with all directives

This is before directives figured in.

The advantage of cp is they can be reset on demand. All the other activity types force you to travel around to get that xp. Clear time isnt the only factor when figuring xp/hr

you can force bounties to be fast

have people in your team stay in undesirable bounty spots to force the bounty to spawn in the unoccupied and desired spot

but then again it's still rng and rather impractical

Much faster, but the reward is so much lower. I can do a good dozen and only level up a few times meanwhile if I do 4-5 directive heroic CP's, I can level up twice sometimes even 3 times every 5 checkpoints cleared

5 directives give about 800k XP, so that's 1 level and 1/5th. If I do 5, I get 6 levels plus the XP bonus of multi kills and all headshots

Which, results in me gaining 7 levels from doing 5 checkpoints sometimes (not often)

True but you need to figure in time to complete. I consistently get MUCH more xp from running just public executions. You don’t have to worry about waiting on your backup to arrive or for the next wave to finally show up like on CP. So even though cp give you 130k more xp, public executions can be completed in a fraction of the amount of time. Plus when you complete all the public executions in dc they reset themselves so you just repeat.

I’ve been playing since day 1 and after the latest xp update (to encourage players to grind open world rather than floor 10 in summit) all the veteran players have been running hostage rescue for xp accrual. I recommend you try it out. But to each their own and good luck regardless of your choice

i did use hostage for a bit, didnt nearly reward with me as much as control points did. i found myself doing more travelling for the hostages than just doing the control points i can do the quickest (less than 4m) and then resetting

what i did was go for the checkpoints near safehouses to cut the travel down in time even further, then kept resetting them. im now shd 1000 so the xp grind is finally over. i can now strictly focus on materials now as well as maxing out my gear

Hahaha that grind never goes away. I am level 29000 and still am grinding every day for materials, exotic components, etc.

Conflict xp is very high after the update. But a lot of it depends on performance. If your team tanks or if you don’t get a lot of kills then the xp is pretty low considering the time it takes to complete the session.

Conflict is nice but as mentioned if you're not being the MVP every game, XP payoff is pretty low. Best bet is using 1 shot builds and doing control points with 4-5 directives

I can attest to this method because I was SHD 720 about 5 days ago, I just hit 1000 today. Depending on your watch level, averaging a good 10-20 control points a day, you'll hit SHD 1000 in about 50-100 days. More you do per day, the number of days until SHD 1000 drops

Basically 1 cp per day, giving 1 level per point, it'll take 1000 days to reach. Do 100 control points per day, it'll take 10 days to reach. The number you do is up to you

For me, running a heroic DCD headquarters gave me a SHD level every 2 runs, provided I didn't get too greedy and F up.

He just needs to half assedly follow you with his cross hairs to keep himself locked

Countdown is a lot of loot if you can at least give it another shot, summit is good but it’s just not as much loot.

Let’s say you’re looking for 4 pc striker that’s just 4 of any pieces you need to get a dps set without crit maximization even if you get ones with like weapon handling and stuff like that

I would say summit get a build doesn't need to be god tier and do countdown. After that then find a build you enjoy. I have been enjoying hunter fury with ceska chest piece intimadated memento for 4 directives for xp farming with liberty.

I would change out liberty if I had the regulus.

if the mission icon is greyed out, just go into mission options and select the difficulty (Hard for the time trial iirc) and it will light back up again

note that this works for all missions, selecting or changing their difficulty will 'reactivate' them

Always use 2 skills that aren't proficient, and a spec that isn't proficient they take forever to level. Target a specific brand or gearset or weapon type.

Donate all junk after each one and then dismantle or sell the rest

Use mats on exotics and dz items that are hard to farm or you don't use often. Or things that arent obtainable like Christmas exclusives or the nemesis quest sniper

after that its just a matter of flipping spots till its full of active members. otherwise you can just start a new one and open it up so anyone interested can join without a confirmation

what i did to flip spots was just sending invites to people that werent in a clan and were killing it when grouped. it would work the same in your case to get more members to fill it in

or if i kept seeing the same people in group, like cd you run into the same people sometimes, i would hit them with an invite. ive asked people if they were in a dead clan, and if so gained a few that way. i normally dismiss agents when they are like 60+ days inactive and just keep the group open

probably took 2months or so to initially flip all the 90+ inactives without cleaning out the roster in one go

I know it's really good for 1 tap raid boss builds, and I know it's also really good for bonus armor and explosive damage. hey all, gear score question and "rule of thumb" help when deciding what to keep...World Tier 2 right now, starting to pickup things in the 310s, and most of my gear right now is 290s. but, the stuff i am getting now is purples, and doesn't really have stats that help my playstyle, while the yellows do. so, IN GENERAL, should i be just equipping the higher gear score stuff regardless of stats? or should i keep my yellows?

i know in Destiny, you want to keep your high score stuff in your inventory, because that effects what drops you get

^^ that's my build, now swap out grupo for coyotes and check the stats. Coyotes buffs don't stack with more than 1 person, yes you can have 3 people take it but each person can only apply 1 bonus. To get all 3 each person needs to hit different range targets to get all 3. But, if 1 person takes coyotes, it applies to all teammates. So, therefore, my CHD and chance is high plus the bonus of coyote should give me almost 200% CHD. Numbers don't lie lol

I'll first wait for my SHD level to go up until I hit 60%.
Then when the cap is hit, ill switch out mods for Crit Damage. I could easily go up to 150 cd while maintaining around 55-60% chc.

I think my holster has 10% Headshot damage so I could switch that out for something like cd too to get another 10%. Then comes more SHD levels = more cd again.

So yeah, its just a matter of time for me really to get like 150-160% cd and still have 55-60% chc

Yeah explains why your CHD is stupid low. 60 % CHC is nice and all but if your crits are below 150, you're better off having lower crit chance and higher crit damage

An optimal crit build is usually 50chc/150chd. A well crafted crit build is usually 54-60chc/175-185 chd

2. coyotes while it provides team buffs is passive and just the mid buff is needed. If 3 people are providing it then that’s 3 chances of it being 100% active which isn’t a bad thing. Ads aren’t always spawned at the same exact door

Its best to think of coyotes as buffing yourself first then your team

Just to add. Wony duplicates the existing watch once keener is beat. So over 1k, shd level -800 category locked points are returned as scavenging on any new agent you run through wony (under 1k gives 20% shd as scavenging).
You can tell if someone is new or just doing a wony by esc> social> inspect agent> character you'll see if multiple are created and the hours of each.

Yeah pretty much. It's generally she the points as cash to buy up named / weapons to donate (30 shd or less). 20 each for proficient items. Also buying up skill mods that auto break into printer filament for expertise donations (around 227 shd).
Added bonus of having extra storage, 4x projects. Only ever need to recreate the last if another wony is needed for mats

At close to 1k it's not really efficient to constantly run wony, but it's worth having them created for the other benefits . Then just rerunning the last when shd is higher

So to get 100 SHD per hour you'd need to do 116 pub executions per hour. You'd need to do one almost every 30 seconds. Unless your hacking that isn't possible.

The raids(IH and DH) require you to be friends to invite to a raid, there is no ingame MM for these on normal diff, on discovery there is ingame MM but it's super watered down and you can't get the raid exotics. You can get the eagle bearer(DH box exotic) and the rav(IH box exotic) from the DZ but it's such a low chance you are better off doing the raids. The regulus(IH crafting project) can only be gotten from doing the IH raid tho. I would suggest joining some LFG discords and getting into teaching/carry raids to get the exotics. Everything else can be ingame MM but legendary/incursion might be spotty depending on what you get, again these things are run in LFG discords all the time. This discords LFG had pretty much died because they do not have VC anymore.

There's a little moment after you stop being hit by a status effect where it's still fuzzing your UI, activating it during that will still break it.
Just take an extra second and it'll rarely go wrong. I've tested this out quite a lot whilst LZ farming.

you can also buy the Exotic Caches from the Countdown vendor, you can afford one every 2-3 runs.

goto the community discord with voice channels. check if any channels are raiding but not full. hop in and ask if they mind if a first time clear (FTC) joins. have a solid dps (high end or striker) ready to go as that will probably the first thing they will want you to do.

from what i understand, the gcrock community is also raiding a lot and teaching

yes, you need to do ih raid and complete some projects . itll take a few weeks unless you have an alt to make 2 runs for materials on first week. then it can just be within 2 weeks

once you have regulus crafted, you will have a reconfigure blueprint for it on sale from the crafting lady. youll need to buy that if you want to reroll to get dttooc on it

The values of attributes and core attributes are not maxed out in some of my gears so do I have to get the gears and then I can go for recalibration or I can recalibrate and put high end values of attributes and core attributes later also ?

I don't really understand the question.
You can only recalibrate one stat or talent per item, but you can then recalibrate that same one as many times as you like, so if you find a higher roll to extract to your library, you can then use that to upgrade a lower roll on your preferred item.

they hack and jam your skills most of the time during fights so it's not going to make a huge amount of difference either way. Riot foam probably a good choice for sticking them if you get the chance

I have already extracted attributes in the library but when I try to replace them in tinkering station it says item attributes needs to be extracted and same thing is happening with the talent also so what am I missing?

Are you looking at the same item type? If you extract a talent from a rifle you can't then put it on a shotgun, you have to extract it from a shotgun as well. If you check the library tab of the tinkering station it'll list each relevant category and show you what you have extracted.

Yeah mate I am extracting from the same item like extracting a talent from one vest and putting on another I have done the tinkering on the striker build without any issues but I am facing this problem on gila guard and golan gears

Hmm, not sure then. Probably easiest if you get a few screenshots or a short video showing the extracted attributes in your library then the error message when you try to apply them.

I've finally got a system corruption build going, and its such a weird way to play. It feels like I have to play with a manual Ad-Rush (activate the kits for the armor and bonus armor). With eagle bearer and defender drone it hits even harder but I can't help but find it gets overpowered a little too easily 🤔

I do need to change a few pieces to get better performance but I can say it feels so damn weird to play

That's how it feels honestly. I try to proc when I have about a quarter of my armor left and usually by then I get the tenacity buff. Did a solo manhunt against a 4 stack just fine until 1 of them slapped on their tryhard armor Regen bighorn build. Game over womp womp 👎

It's a fun gearset but I can see where it falls short heavily. Hunters fury could easily drop it

I run booster and decoy as my two main talents, so many status’ now that it’s a must. I have mine levelled to 13 too. Probably get it to 25 for the stim efficiency.

You have to in a 1 v 4 unless you’re going to run regen or perfect efficient for unlimited insta kits and just burst damage.
