you dont really craft most exotics. a couple of project exo you do, but youre probably thinking of reconfigure (reroll) blueprints. you basically give the exo weapon and itll take a component and return random rolls. it is essentially a new weapon where your loadouts are concerned but it will retain any expertise upgrades you may have on the original weapon. make sure to resave it as favorite and resave any loadouts that might have been affected

I was doubling up LMGs in case a rogue or something forced a reload (i want to keep my chatter buff without wasting a talent slot on Bullet hell), but i find you will NOT get a upgraded quality weapon of a type you have equipped

someone said the base damage will keep increasing even for blue variant but i haven't validated that

i dont believe it does, the atribute rolls within the weapon quality can be different, but if you have max lmg damage and 1.5 or 2% DTTOOC (forgot what the max roll in descent is) that is as good as it gets

I've complained about this before but if you have a grey item youre F-ed. a blue weapon is worth 10 levels of red cores ove a grey its stupid

Ouroboros is only good for crits. Talent is kinda meh on it but most only use it with crit builds. However tho, it's inaccurate at a distance but SMGs are meant to be that way? Lastly, the gun has perpetually zero recoil. It's a DPS god for sure but you have to be very very close to the enemy to apply the most damage. Good gun, just has its caveats

It's too long of a cool down is mostly the reason. On the EP fire build it just doesn't make sense. Chem/sticky combo is going to net FAR higher uptime on burning people plus the sticky is hit scan and you can use it while in full sprint.

You can craft a set in DC before going to WONY, just do a level 30 boost, share blueprints, run a couple bounties for money then craft.

When it was giving double and triple points I was able to drive it up to 28. The cap is just the number of items available until we hit a hard cap... possibly 30

huh. i'm at like 150 or so and have a pretty decent striker setup, around this time of night i get kicked pretty often from countdown matchmaking though. during the day i usually have no issues.

Not really, you'll get those extremists sometimes that will boot you for not being OP meta but overall people are pretty chill. Heroic countdown is pretty tough though so just test your build in the shooting range before going in, just to be courteous to everyone else so you're pulling your weight.

You can basically solo it with a Striker build after enough practice.

Honestly consider it a bullet dodged that you didn't play with them long-term.

One of my methods I use to counter being kicked despite being in the 700's for my SHD level is to go into it with a "meta" build then once CD loads up, quickly hot swap loadouts to the build you wanna use. Works like a charm

that's likely the issue. You can still get it, but not from targeted loot. so Countdown/event exo caches are probably yout best bet. or just completing the Liberty Project

Proficiency is tied to 1 item, expertise is your overall prestige level of how many items you're proficient with and you can further optimize a weapon or piece of gear. Expertise lvl 10 you can upgrade any armor/weapon 10 times for bonus damage or bonus armor.

if you are going to make heavy use of them then expertising them can be worthwhile as it will improve your headhunter max stack size (which scales off weapon damage) as well as first shot damage.
Only really relevant if you're struggling to one-shot certain enemies though
