no, once you extract it its in the library forever. you may be looking at weapon categories that may not have had attributes extracted. or possibly the attribute on your weapon may be higher than what you have in the library

Sorry for asking too frequently, but does the other weapon models such as the sasg12 and its black market version has any different stats? I never got a maxed one to compare. I got a maxed one with dttoc and put close and personal on it. I was wondering if I should seek for the black market version... Also, for the m1 carbine and its "cqb" version.

Iirc in div 1 there was the lightweight m4 and the lvoa-c. They were basically the same weapon with a diff handling

M1A CQB is a faster firing rifle with fairly good handling while M1A has higher damage but slower fire rate. i think the only difference between the SASG and the black market version is a little tiny bit of stability or accuracy. possibly a long bottom rail vs a short one but i dont think thats the case with that shotgun

But skill haste helps with every skill

As for defensive, I think between hazard protection or total armor … armor first then hazard protection (small reduction of damage and duration to burn etc)

Yeah, there are some BPs in the reward chest but that's separate. If you wanna grind it I'd just pick one you like that's quick and reset control points and run it 5-10 times per play session. Some CPs can be done in 2-3 minutes easy.

Hey there, newish working my way through the campaign. Sitting at level 22 at the moment. I’ve done some but not all side missions - kinda just doing enough to be at level for each main mission. Is there any need to do them? I.E., Is this the right tactic - just get through the campaign and Warlords as quick as practical and come back and do them after I am at 40?

There's really no right or wrong tactic for leveling. Do what you enjoy.
You'll want to complete all side missions on one character at some point.

The general thing with the side missions is you can save them for once you are ready to clear capitol building. There’s a chance that after Roosevelt Island you won’t be level 29 / level 30 and will need more xp

Unfortunately mission replays in story mode only give kill xp and your other option is activities. But side missions are used to boost your xp because you get more of it at higher levels

The use for doing the side missions is that some have blueprints that are useful such as magazine extensions and scopes (otherwise you don’t really have scopes in base game except from marksman rifles)

You can save them for when you’re level 40 to speed up your progression if you want

just a heads up: crafting stuff makes them at a very low tier, meaning that you're more likely to get bad rolls than good ones.
Both of the pieces that drop there are well worth just farming in Countdown, if you want to use them without a ton of optimisation.

Crafting doesn't scale off difficulty, so Crafting stuff gets you generally very low rolls overall.
the % of attributes scale based on difficulty, kinda. So you get a higher chance to get better rolls on Heroic than Challenging, for example.

86.6% likelihood of EB dropping once from the bosses

When it comes down to it, there's no loot / rng protection in place that we know off, RNG is RNG - and unless you can guarantee in the data (which is why I asked for it down in raid discussions aswell) that everyone you run with is on their first clear of the week, you're just as likely being screwed by probability - which is annoying, I get that. It's how I lost my mage at lvl 60 in Hardcore Classic - killing elite dragons for an item with a supposed 5% drop chance and after 120ish kills I slipped up, died - also should've had it

you have to extract the same type of attribute from another gear piece that's value is higher than what you're trying to optimise

if you have 10 percent crit damage in your library then you can't optimise past 10 percent crit damage and so on

as for your other statements, we had a good few runs with more than 6+ people being FTC's and it was their first run of the week (even my own too yesterday being my first run of the week). even they didnt even see it, nor did I. Ive done 8 clears, plus the chance of dropping from a boss. realistically now, i should have a 80-90% chance of snagging the EB next time i open a crate. Or, like you mentioned, RNGesus is punishing me because ive not been a good disciple to him (or her)

now, as for how many of those runs? id say about 3-5 of those runs being with more than 5+ people being ftc's

its a very rough estimate and not a solid estimate bc my brain is fried from killing boomer, weasal, dizzy, budy, lucy, and the razorback about 8 times with nothing to show for it besides 1 person getting the gun on their 2nd ever run... out of 64 people ive ran it with...

I've been running this build for the last few days, for solo stuff it is pretty good, very tanky but still hits hard once you get stacks up (with 15 expertise on the EB I'm hitting over a million per shot at max)

struggled a bit with AI rogue encounters, but hotswapping to scorpio solved that nicely

for pve, I've found the tenacity + the 3B (and potentially bonus armor from memento) more than sufficient tankiness, even when face to face with a group of heroic elites. That said, without tenacity your armor will evaporate very fast under fire

Is there an easy way to farm out level 30 weapons and armour? Id rather not level a character from 1-30 if possible, and just use my level 40 characters? Follow on from that, what would be the best set to speedrun WONY with? Drone/Turret?

Start a new character at level 1. Once you reach the white house and pick your first skill, open up the ingame store, add-ons tab, and look for the level 30 boost - it's free if you own WONY, and applying it will move you straight to world tier 5. Then you can farm for lvl 30 gear.

For speedrunning WONY, the best option is to get a lvl 40 character to join you - if you're efficient it'll only take 2 hours, and due to auto-scaling you don't need to constantly upgrade your gear (only once you hit lvl 39). If you must do it the slow way, skill tiers are useful because they scale automatically, and if you can find any purple/gold gear at lvl 31 or above you can recalibrate lvl 40 stats (eg max armor roll) on it

personally I usually go with striker drone & shield, a weapon with In Sync, and about 4y 2b cores or so (preferably on crit/damage brands)

A few more tips then:
Order wise do parnell and conley first, then kajika, then dragov. Head straight to the safehouse in each area (if you've got someone to carry then they can fast travel and you can jump to them), that skips the little intro side missions.

When you come to do the Hugh Carey tunnel side mission, head from there straight down to Castle Clinton as it saves on running time (Castle Clinton side mission only becomes available after completing 2 targets, which is why we leave Kajika for third).

Leave Wall Street for last as it has the most loot so you might find some useful lvl 40 stuff there (less important for scavenging runs I guess). No need to do the other random side missions (federal gold reserve and chinese market) unless you're lacking the xp to reach lvl 40. If you're still lacking, Waterfront CP can be useful to capture as it'll give you a fast travel point close to liberty island.

I setup a turret/drone skill build since it scales well without needing gear at specific level.
Note that a few exotics rolled to 30 are very helpful.
Scorpio and capacitor are what I rolled down. Not bother with memento since it doesnt work in wony without an shd agent with you.
Iirc waveform can be rolled. Some also roll down regulus to 30 for speeding through

Make friends, heal them. I think the best thing to do is objectively think about what the healer should do. Most think it's about healing but it's more about buffing and debuffing enemies so your team can chew thru them.

PLEASE don't be that guy who does OC at the end of a room, OC is powerful and yes it does reset cool downs but in the middle of a fight it's SUPER strong for your heals and your team mates utility skills.

Your heals aren't meant to allow face tanking, it's to keep people in FI buff.

The drop rate in the DZ for EB/Rav/Bighorn is....quite a lot lower than in their respective modes.
And it's not even affected by TL, so you also have to extract it once you get it.

for the record, it's 1% from bosses for the first 2 guns, 10% from the final chest in the respective Raids.
and Bighorn is just a chance from any Named Enemy/Hunter in Legendary mode.

Crit hit chance is the most versatile (allows you to spec more crit dmg) - more dmg to targets overall

Rate of fire for more burst dmg to all targets

Dmg to armor if I’m specifically looking to dmg armored targets

ROF / CHC will help a lot bc they work on chungas and warhounds (health dmg) by allowing you to increase burst dmg via crit dmg or rpm

I'm not sure. I'd estimate a larger part of your loot in CD is from Named Bosses, Caches at every objective, main cache and Hunters at the end - however the chopper, can net you - I'd guesstimate - 10 items per run (full extraction timer).
If you clear extract quickly, you could probably get more loot/time - but if we're talking 30-60 seconds left on the timer? unsure

Hey, so I hit lvl 30 after Roosevelt Island. Should I still do Capitol Building first, or just go to straight to WoNY and do it when I finish that?

I believe you have to do capitol, then some more game, then you can do WONY

TBF I think you can just boost you character, but you really want to be at world Tier V before you do WONY

i played thru all the world tiers though, just cuz i wanted to experience the whole game on my first character

but looking back, i dont really care at all whether i would have done that or skipped to wony
